I think the purpose of why BTC was created was for financial freedom over our transactions. As long as there are countries who oppose to this kind of view, I doubt that we can say that it already has achieved its goal.

Another thing, like what some had mentioned, there is no actual 'pre-defined goal' for BTC. A goal and a purpose is relatively different and it will continue to achieve its goal for as long as countries adhere to its legality. But to give some credit, I do think that we already experienced its effects on our transactions- mostly it is overwhelmingly positive!

I think this depends on the type of animal and the type of racing.

If such animals were forced to run (i.e. they are harmed during the process as to force them to run), then I think that would constitute animal abuse on the part of the players. I think this completely destroys the idea of financial freedom- in why why BTC was created in the first place.
