ya... the units measure exactly 7" tall, so when you stack 3 of them, it will be 21", which is exactly how tall the boxfans are... and I figure... removing the 6 case fans will certainly help offset the cost of running a single boxfan on low setting

My 2centz..... To those thinking another BBB will help their Jupiter....... WRONG The BBB is useless without the controller board it's mounted to.
Dude why do you not understand things? Yes the request is for a controller board to split up a jupiter into saturns and mercurys? if you had a jupiter you could engage in this discussion. saturns and mercurys will not have the same issues Sorry if you feel offended...you never mentioned the controller board.... so, the request would be for a BBB & controller board combo for every Jupiter, instead of waiting for firmware?... Does that sound realistic? especially since the controller board was the issue?... When firmware would fix it, you just want them to produce 2x the amount, which would assuredly take much longer... So, how do I not understand things again?

you know, you can plug 4 of your ASICs into one saturn and feel the pain of a jupiter owner if you really care to keep making opinions on people who are trying to deal with our situation .. ok?

Most of us would have been much better off if KNC just sold boards and pesterd OrSoc for firmware updates. I requested precisely that in July and repeated it regularly. Keep the fans, the case, the glitches. Just get me some asics & a controller board. I'll handle the cooling, assembly, & join in the troubleshooting fray.

I have done tests with just 2 and 1 ASIC to my troubled jupiter and the parts Gh more then the sum when all together. If you want to see for yourself, please put four boards into one of your saturns and run that for a day

I'm not arguing one bit with your assessment of the situation. Seems spot-on just wanted to be sure peeps didnt rush out to buy a BBB to cure a problem, only to find out it needed a controller board...thats all...

I am pressing them for this now. I have all the data and results to prove this is a better option for jupiter owners. It isn't even all airflow related. The controller seems to do better with less modules plugged into it. This might be why their hosting idea is having issues.. I think they were planning on plugging 6 modules per controller board right?

it's about attacking ppl. who initiates that around here? answer: you.
have i ever started attacking you out of the blue in an unprovoked manner? no. did i start out by attacking erdouchen? no. you guys come in here and other places and attack ppl's integrity for no reason.
the only one i've been asking questions of is Rama. and in my last post this morning i said i was sorry for him. i think he's being used by KNC if he indeed hasn't been or isn't going to be paid.
Cypherdoc, you are spamming this thread with nothing useful. Everybody here wants information about KNC hardware and its delivery status. You attack Bitcoinorama relentlessly and have your own thread for that purpose that you have the freedom of: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=273026.msg3331277Stop attention-seeking and return there. Or go and write a newsletter, or something. i did not attack him this morning. i only asked him to clarify his status with KNC. which revealed the following facts: 1. he has not been paid and apparently there is no promise to be paid or even employed. 2. his trip to Sweden will be paid by KNC. 3. non-employed Rama is being used to help assemble, package, ship, and promote/provide communications for the company. all useful and accurate info which is why Rama is not in here fighting me tooth and nail. cue Hempstock, donch and erdouchen attacks. as i said, i actually feel sorry for him and think he's being used. all that being said, you're right about wasting my time in here. Don't feel too sorry, I don't think anyone has the true picture. But let me add one more thing, Columbo style: I haven’t been paid, I haven’t yet signed any contract, and as of right now I’ve checked out of the hotel, to move into an apt, which is notoriously hard to acquire in Stockholm, to basically be let down last min by a flakey landlord that apparently had a major life crisis to deal with at the exact moment I show up, despite telling me anything but over the phone the night before.
Tell me, why would someone who is still *deliberating* on whether to take a job or not, move out of a hotel into an apartment? How could someone move to Stockholm with no job offer, no income and decide looking for an apartment is the thing to do? If KNC are happy to pay for a hotel to allow him to make up his mind, why move? He makes it sound like he is the selector, playing hard to get and he decides if KNC employs him or not, which is a bit laughable. Typical of the way he bigs himself up at any opportunity. Moving out of a hotel and into an apartment sounds like what someone who has been offered a job or has recently started working for a company would do. And how come Bitcoinorama is so tired if he's just hanging round and observing? Sounds more like someone dog tired from working. And I doubt KNC would be stupid enough to have someone working for them in a factory if they didn't employ him, because if he had an accident, they'd be up shit creek. And how long does it take to sort the employment paperwork? Are we going back a couple of weeks here? All this *I'm still deliberating* does not ring true to me at all, but make up your own minds. I'm sure a day or two after last units have shipped, orama will make the big announcement that he has decided to work for KFC and pretend it happened just then. Only a few more weeks to wait to find out.

Hi need help with a very stupid thing ...worker
anyone try changing it ?
Usually a worker is denoted with an underscore in the login name field.. so it would be "Madazam_worker1", "Madazam_worker2", and so on. It depends on what the worker is named, though. It could be "Madazam_w1" Sometimes, as with Slush's pool it's denoted with a period.. so "Madazam.worker1"

Can everyone in this thread just lay off the personal attacks. It's easy in the weird and wonderful cyber world to forget that the people you are talking to and about are human beings. How would you feel if you had to read all these posts looking for someone saying something horrible about your personal life?
We all want our miners as soon as possible. The doubt over the delivery date causes us all stress, because this is serious money that most of us probably need flowing into our wallets. But let's just leave off the personal nature of some of these attacks.

"How are you justifying these as fair use? They are clearly and unequivocally a copyright violation." "I really want to know how you justify that under the fair use doctrine? It does not conform to a single point of fair use." Josh whining about people reusing his studio portrait shot on this forum. Can you copyright a copyright complaint? All Paypal refunds are final.

But this Oh and forget that "we're all busy" crap...they have a hell of a lot of money to hire a few temps for a week like any other very busy business does.
could be (and has been) said about this very forum we all use to support the BTC community. And how many thousands of dollars have you paid to use this forum? I haven't personally paid thousands of dollars to use KNCMiner, either. I was smart enough to purchase BTC directly and only invest what I EXPECTED to lose in a mining operation for the enjoyment of participation. This thread should be renamed "Angry about your choice of investment? Blame others here!" Gee, so much pages to read through.... I just picked this one out of laziness (don't take it personal): Since most people (not saying you) are unclear of the definition: Investment: An asset or item that is purchased with the hope that it will generate income or appreciate in the future. In an economic sense, an investment is the purchase of goods that are not consumed today but are used in the future to create wealth. In finance, an investment is a monetary asset purchased with the idea that the asset will provide income in the future or appreciate and be sold at a higher price. Now, of course a miner is an investment. AS an investment alone it would be okay if it does not generate the wealth you would expect it to. That would be ones own fault, like some here do not seem to understand. BUT it is also a purchased item. And as such it falls under the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, CISG. And as such Section II Article 74 " Damages for breach of contract by one party consist of a sum equal to the loss, including loss of profit, suffered by the other party as a consequence of the breach. Such damages may not exceed the loss which the party in breach foresaw or ought to have foreseen at the time of the conclusion of the contract, in the light of the facts and matters of which he then knew or ought to have known, as a possible consequence of the breach of contract. " applies. Now I know some of you do not like to google for yourself, so I took the freedom to quote it here. So, to put an end to the endless whiner blabla: If you got your unit a week ago and had day1/2 orders, stop complaining. If you did not get your October Shipment order, stop complaining (until the 15th, then carry on by all means). If you did not get your day1/2 order, carry on complaining, it is completely normal (unless you come from vatican city or kosovo, those do not fall under the un laws...)

And how long does it take to sort the employment paperwork? Are we going back a couple of weeks here? It's hell finding an apartment in Stockholm, let me tell you.. they have wait lists, and it can take forever. So if Orama got the chance to snag one, it'd be a wise move for him to do so. Maybe he's decided on the place but not the job. Who knows. There's a ton of Brit expats in Sweden. His life outside of his reporting on Knc really isn't any of our business, though, tbh. I'd venture to say he got the chance on an apartment and snapped their hands off. Again, finding a place to live is a huge deal there.

Here's one for you: Do you post in this thread out of some weird kind of aggressive seeking of validation for having been paid to endorse a product which no-one seems particularly interested in. Answer: Yes. Bitcoinorama is a young lad. Just leave off. It's weird. It's all getting personal and unhealthy. This morning I questioned your integrity. I question it further by the hour.

and now we find out he's moving into an apartment in Stockholm? one has to believe their is "some" relationship there. once again; you started attacking me. it seems lost on you that all the above nonsense would've ended if it wasn't for you and your attacks.
