it's about attacking ppl.  who initiates that around here?  answer: you.

have i ever started attacking you out of the blue in an unprovoked manner?  no.  did i start out by attacking erdouchen?  no.  you guys come in here and other places and attack ppl's integrity for no reason.

the only one i've been asking questions of is Rama.  and in my last post this morning i said i was sorry for him.  i think he's being used by KNC if he indeed hasn't been or isn't going to be paid.

Cypherdoc, you are spamming this thread with nothing useful. Everybody here wants information about KNC hardware and its delivery status.

Hi,

is it safe to put some vent like this one on top of the rig and let it run 24/7?

KnC originally promised Jupiter at 250Gh/s for $7k.

Is that supposed to be an argument supporting the statement that "They will have already compensated you by delivering over TWICE the hashrate you paid for."?

They have never lied about their intention to deliver on time.

They might not have lied, but they definitely misleaded a lot of people.
"All current paid orders will be shipped no later than October 15th." - This is a non-ambiguous statement.
You know perfectly well how UK laws treat misleading information and for that matter any EU Law.
If there is a court case and this piece of evidence is provided you can be sure it will be sufficient to conclude there is a delay.

And last I would like to post my views on the Delay situation:

Quote
First I want to state a very simple fact, which some people tend to miss: KNC is a for-profit company and there is no denying that. Their prime objective is to make money.
On the other side of the relationship are the KNC customers, who again are for-profit entities and are here to make money. I've seen people claiming the opposite on the forums saying "oh You should be happy to help Bitcoin grow and not care so much about ROI". I find it very hard to believe that there are people who will willingly pay thousands of USD just to help Bitcoin grow and prosper. Nobody is here only or mainly to support the Bitcoin network with money outside of his own pocket. Everyone is here to make a profit as their prime goal. Nobody is thinking: oh I will invest 7000USD in this company to help Bitcoin, regardless of ROI and just feel happy about myself.
Bottom line: ROI is everything for everyone.

To simplify things I will compare ROI to a set number of days: each day represents a portion of the expected ROI. Imagine it like a big apple pie, where one piece gets rotten and bad for each day that passes, so you have to throw it in the bin. So what happens is for every day that KNCMiner is late beyond the advertised shipping date a piece of the pie gets thrown away and eventually I will receive half a pie or worse. When does it end? How far beyond the advertised date KNC would have to be late, before they change their position and realize that customers are being injured financially?
Would customers feel good about KNC if they were to receive their miners 1st of week of November and all November orders were to follow from the 15th November? What about 10th November?
What time window do KNC find acceptable for delays to occur in?

If this post helped you and you feel generous you know what to do: 1P9tXFy9bVgzrfPGeV7F8np26ZtFdCCWvz

i did not attack him this morning.  i only asked him to clarify his status with KNC.  which revealed the following facts:

1.  he has not been paid and apparently there is no promise to be paid or even employed.
2.  his trip to Sweden will be paid by KNC.
3.  non-employed Rama is being used to help assemble, package, ship, and promote/provide communications for the company.

all useful and accurate info which is why Rama is not in here fighting me tooth and nail.  cue Hempstock, donch and erdouchen attacks.

as i said, i actually feel sorry for him and think he's being used.

all that being said, you're right about wasting my time in here.

ya... the units measure exactly 7" tall, so when you stack 3 of them, it will be 21", which is exactly how tall the boxfans are...   and I figure... removing the 6 case fans will certainly help offset the cost of running a single boxfan on low setting

My 2centz.....
To those thinking another BBB will help their Jupiter....... WRONG
The BBB is useless without the controller board it's mounted to.

Dude why do you not understand things?  Yes the request is for a controller board to split up a jupiter into saturns and mercurys?

if you had a jupiter you could engage in this discussion. saturns and mercurys will not have the same issues

Sorry if you feel offended...you never mentioned the controller board....
so, the request would be for a BBB & controller board combo for every Jupiter, instead of waiting for firmware?... Does that sound realistic? especially since the controller board was the issue?... When firmware would fix it, you just want them to produce 2x the amount, which would assuredly take much longer... So, how do I not understand things again?

you know, you can plug 4 of your ASICs into one saturn and feel the pain of a jupiter owner if you really care to keep making opinions on people who are trying to deal with our situation ..  ok?

Most of us would have been much better off if KNC just sold boards and pesterd OrSoc for firmware updates.  I requested precisely that in July and repeated it regularly.  Keep the fans, the case, the glitches.  Just get me some asics & a controller board. I'll handle the cooling, assembly, & join in the troubleshooting fray.
