Ok couple of questions/comments. 1. Whats the ip address, subnet, dns server and gateway settings of the computer you are using to connect to the miner? 2. Whats the IP address, subnet, dns server and gateway of the miner? If you have a dhcp server on your network it will automatically hand out an IP address to the miner, at the same time it will setup the subnet and gateway. If you don't have a dhcp server on your network then everything has to be setup manually, you would probably remember if you had to setup your computer manually. Suffice to say that in most home situations the only thing different on all the devices will be the IP address, the subnet and gateway and DNS settings will all be the same. The good news is that you can copy the Subnet/Gateway/DNS settings from a working device to one that isn't setup correctly. Just don't copy the IP address, use the same ip range but make sure the last two digits are unique for each device. In order to talk to each other, given there is no router in between them they need to be in the same Subnet and IP range. Another thing to watch out for is any proxy server settings in your browser, if there is one setup then it may make it problematic to connect to web interfaces on devices inside your network.

What's the going price for a KNC Juipter in hand ?
you selling or buying? Considering selling. shouldnt have a problem getting your money back.. put up a quick auction and location since people probably want to know how soon they can get it Doesn't look like the expensive miners are selling on ebay... might have to list it on the forum? I'd prolly take face value right now.

I've had a few savvy IT peeps trying to get the miner just to run... using teamviewer & other interfaces.... Ya know who got it to run...? I did... from info shared in here, bit by bit...... amen and btw... its connected to an ethernet switch...to laptop, which uses my android.... many pros said it couldnt be done, and tried to help... and I thank them for that... but fact is... its running now, the ip thing is solved I'm thinking, but simply cant change the miner thru the web interface to "save" the configging... ssl is the only way I am able to access the miner, and physically start cgminer, and physically enter all the info evrry time any hiccup happenz 0.94 indeed stopped the crashing, but hashes just a tad less, at around 260 phoenix, nice to see you mining....saw the struggle for a while....geez.... anyhow, i have read others state about changing the share difficulty to higher than what it should be (unless your pool doesn't allow or sets diff. auto).....I can't explain why, I am sure others could, but that it has something to do with hardware errors and this improves performance.... anyone?

I'm thinking of buying 2x 140mm fans and just put them with cables ties on the outside of the case at the rear (exhaust side), so they can help a little bit with removing the hot air. Thermalright TY 143 look nice and coupled with a fan controller you can run them quiet and slow or noisy and fast. L152 mm x H140 mm x W26.5 mm Fan Weight : 170g Fan Speed : 600 - 2500 rpm (PWM) Sound Level : 21 - 45 dB(A) Airflow : 31.4 - 130.0 CFM Or one can get a more advanced one with a display and thermal probes = monitor the temps inside the case directly

Wonder what date the first Mercury will ship. What was the 1st date they were available? That's why they may not be shipping now. Understood. I wonder none the less. Interestingly, there was apparently a 28xx order, date 28 June, not shipped so perhaps picked up, French, listed on the thread KNC list of orders October delivery, a Saturn. I bought my Mercury on July 3 and I think they had been available a few days already at that time so Mercurys might start shipping soon! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=249065.260

you're dead in the water given HashFast pricing.
paid shill notwithstanding, let's see how it all rolls out shall we? First batch babyjets $5,600 @ 400Gh suppose to ship in 10 days right? Do you think any of those customers will be able to sell them for more when they get them? Even with my higher saturn to jupiter upgrade pricing (plus shipping), I paid $7,466 for 520 Gh (stable, I posted a hundred times proof already) So I got my miner 11 days earlier than the first babyjet is suppose to deliver and I paid just 35 cents more per Gh for that headstart. $14.35 vs $14 of the babyjet ($5,600 / 400 ) that's without shipping since I have no idea what that would be

Do you think any of those customers will be able to sell them for more when they get them? like i said before, i'm not being paid anymore. as far as selling BJ's, i don't think anyone will want to as i doubt HF will have all the same problems that KNC is having. i've already verified that the HF shipping packaging will be far superior to what i've seen for the KNC's. the problem with KNC's packaging is that they skimped on the internal foam encasing blocks leaving a gaping 12.5 inches unsupported and unprotected central exposure to the unit. even Avalon did it better; they only left 5.5 inches of exposure.

total dead on how bad KNC packed, shipped and planned their logistics and everything.
even with their rush to market, they could of easily done those things 10 times better.. I won't talk of their hosting since that was a crackpot roll out as well

Wow so much for 1 day shipping. Why didn't KNC give us an option to pay more for 1 day shipping. UPS express saver is now going to hold me package over the weekend. Delivery is expected on Monday which is 4 business days from when it shipped on Wednesday. Thry orignally said Friday.
Its bullshit that they said 1 day in the check out but then shipped it via a 3 day UPS mail with no saturday delivery. It should have said 3 day shipping in the checkout process.
I'm in the same boat. Although I'm secretly hoping it will at least make it to the UPS facility near my location tomorrow. Then maybe I can pick it up from them on late Friday/early Saturday. I called UPS and asked that they told me my center was not open on Saturday so its not an option for me. The whole Next Day shipping thing is really deceiving, it should say 1-3 days and list the UPS shipping method. If that doesn't change this will be my first and last KNC miner, gotta vote with your wallet.

The pre-installed fans at the front of the case are intake fans?! Are you sure? That would be very poor design if true. I assumed they were exhaust fans. But yes, I think it's an excellent idea to install fans on both ends of the case in a push-pull configuration.
