Suggestion: It would be nice if you could add stats and how many bitcoins each worker mined that didn't refresh every block. And could also feature graphs like eligius does.

Enable 'long polling' extension for this worker. Turning OFF usually requires a miner restart. what's this? turn on or off?

Hi
im unable to login to my account and i can not reset my password ..... Typed in my mail address three times now but i dont receive a mail?
Could someone look into that?
My email has stopped working as well (some time ago I think). I use a .info email address (not .com) and I suspect that may be the problem.

The longest round had 12.2x difficulty, so it is equivalent of current 30mil shares. Yesterday's round was long, but there still was some reserve :-).

Hi guys, I'm finishing project on which I recently spent some time . I'm just writing official announcement and internal technical documentation. But in the meantime I would like to ask you for testing this: https://github.com/slush0/stratum-mining-proxy (there's also prepared Windows binary) It is proxy between "old" getwork protocol and new pool interface based on Stratum protocol (which I originally designed for a lightweight Electrum wallet). As I said, I'll post it's benefits officially later, but I'd like to do some small-scale testing for now (and hopefully find the first block outside testnet?). So if you have some spare time, please run mining proxy locally (using default parameters is fine) and point some of your miners to it (by default it listen on localhost:8332). It is still experimental version, so don't be surprised if something will go wrong :-). Anyway, submitted shares should be accounted under your profile as normally... P.S. As my "thank you" for your help you should see very, very low stale ratio. P.P.S. Of course please report issues if any. Problems with installation, runtime errors, authorization errors, rejected shares, whatever...

I would be more then happy to point one of my miners at it, but I am afraid I don't really know how, still a new miner. I did download it though but have no idea what to do from there.

Just run the proxy locally (black terminal window with a lot of texts should appear). And then point your miner to "localhost:8332" instead to "api.bitcoin.cz:8332". Rest is the same. Your miner talk to proxy by old protocol and proxy talk over the Internet to the pool by new protocol.

i started using the windows executable as a proxy (which by the way , i had to close the client -was configured on 8332). It works, for starters! do you need us to report something on it?

stergium, if you run bitcoin daemon locally, you can run the proxy with "mining_proxy.exe -gp 8331" ("getwork port", or some other port). Just keep mining on it and report only if it will behave strangely (rejected shares, disconnected miners etc). At this stage short server restarts (up to one minute) are expected. And thank you anyway .
