Multibit is just a wallet. Yes you can use its addresses with this pool. And no, it does not have to run all the time. You only need to run Multibit when you want to SEND coins. You can receive coins to that address any time, even when wallet is on a USB key in a safebox somewhere (aka "cold storage")

if multibit is not running and the pool send me my BT, where BT are going ? Oo

Multibit simply holds the signing keys necessary to prove ownership of and spend the bitcoins. The record of what addresses contain how many bitcoins, who sent them where, etc. is all stored in the blockchain.

you have to accept the odd 6 or 8 hour drudge too

Especially when the difficulty has increased -which went up approximately 11% from 10076292 to 11187257 about 4 days ago...

[EDIT] and now we had a six hour round, the shares will take some time to calculate - queue the large quantity of posts from some people about round calculations showing 'none', then a few posts later 'it seems to have corrected', then a few posts later 'yeah but there must be something wrong', then a few posts later 'where is slush', etc, etc, etc...

And who is be saying any such thing about - besides you?

I has not be saying the bad things about the slushy - I like them

It's posts like these that keep me coming back for more!! *LoooL!!!*  Cheesy Grin Cheesy Grin

2 invalid blocks appeared on 05-16.

18050 2013-05-16 00:59:30 0:25:24 3347302 3836 0.03259840 236382  25.49110000 invalid
18055 2013-05-16 11:10:31 0:35:00 4661424 5793 0.03199510 236442  25.30310348 invalid

10% of totall earning was lost.
If I say that this means that pool has connecting issues with other nodes I will be called an idiot again so I will say pool is working normal and self-proclaimed Slush spokesman's will applaud.

EDIT: Yesterday was also a the switchover day for the block fork code. It could be that that was not done or was not done correctly. Time will tell...

Has anyone heard from slush?  I still do not receive the email to change my password and have not heard back from him since the end of April.

Hope all is well with Slush.

Hi guys,

Do you experience massive drop in reward? from 8th of May till yesterday my daily reward dropped by almost 50%, especially in last 2 days. There is a problem with the pool and not sure why slush is not here to correct any issues.

In the last week or two api2.bitcoin.cz or stratum.bitcoin.cz stops processing blocks (or both sites).  Sometimes its just 1-2 of my miners but the others keep processing just fine.  So far problem seems resolved by switching to cgminer with both servers configured and cgwatcher.

api.bitcoin.cz and api2.bitcoin.cz still point to the old compromized servers at OVH and I'm surprised they're still running. Who knows who's controlling them tho (if anyone at all).

There hasn't been any information about this whatsoever so I can't blame you. Oh Slush, where art thou...

Well thing is sometimes api2 only works others only stratum works its a toss up only way I've been able to get it stable was to configure it to monitor both at the same time.  I can probably add stratum2, stratum3, and a BTCGuild just to be safe though.

Luck has been pretty bad recently like 3-4 days in a row.  Last 1/2 day was good crossing fingers it continues (already on 14th block).

I've been mining with 50Ghs for the 11th day now. Can you please evaluate the below log of earnings?

Today I switched from diff8 to 6 and I think the rewards are coming more frequently and in a steadier manner. I plan to run it on 6 to get some more days worth of data to compare.

Do you think I should set it lower?

the last record has 9 hours to go as of this post. I had no downtime, expect 2 occasions when the miners spent a few minutes offline

Well if it is 0.052 every day yes but if it is just last two days it is luck. It was low. And all you needed to say is that dificalty also go up for 10+% so he should also see less becous of that. But no you are what you are and we all know what that is.

Its been almost a week since we had good luck there were a few "normal" days in there but the rest were pretty bad ~10-12 blocks in a day or less.  People need to look at the number of blocks per day to really get a good feel of how their workers are doing.

Lucko since you can't be bothered reading.

I just updated pool's bitcoind to version 0.8.1, so the pool is ready for upcoming event.

And also
Code:
18059	2013-05-16 21:45:24	6:03:08	49008417	236506	25.45308667 confirmed
18058 2013-05-16 15:42:16 0:38:59 5254622 236475 25.02140000 confirmed
18057 2013-05-16 15:03:17 0:56:25 7557555 236470 25.42825800 confirmed
18056 2013-05-16 14:06:52 2:56:21 23425869 236462 25.13311785 confirmed
Which are after the date.

Also every pool has orphans it is as someone explained a few posts before. Could under connected bitcoind be the adding to to the issue maybe but  I would say unlikely.
