Last days were very hard for me and I was doing my best to recover pool to normal operation as fast as possible. During those very long nights I had many thoughs if this is the end of the pool; people will leave it because it isn't working realiably soo long. Now I see hashrate is slowly rising back to normal, which is the best satisfaction for all my work. Thank you a lot for your support!
This what Ddos attackers want. People leave pool & stop mining. But we are not going to stop, even get attacked daily. Bitcoin will live forever & also it forms the base of all cryto currencies & change the way money is handled.

I've been in this pool, left bitcoin, and came back and I still like the pool.
You're usually ahead of the trend on most things and have been one of the most reliable and long lasting pools. I would be pretty sad to see you go just because of some DDOSing.

If anyone is still having connection problems, I noticed that peer block is blocking the new ip address the pool is using.
I'm not sure if it is the p2p blacklist or the spyware one though.

Almost, and also 45,000+ namecoins waiting to be distributed to contributors. Probably will hit over 50k tonight. Hopefully I'll be able to get a decent amount with my 80mh/s

Can you be more specific please? Which provider is blocking this new ip (178.79.183.97)? I tried to find it on some blacklists and everything looks clear for me, but maybe I'm missing something...

Btw for all people waiting for nmc accounting; I'm very sorry but I really asleep, cause my daily regime is totally broken. But I still have free Saturday, so it's definitely the date when accounting will be ready.

Not the original person complaining but... Peer Block is a program, not an ISP. It is commonly used in conjunction with torrenting and there are several sites offering lists of IPs to block based on what you are trying to block (p2p to block those trying to bust torrenters, malware to block sites that upload malware to your system, etc...). The most commonly used lists are here: http://list.iblocklist.comThralen (p.s. - Thanks Slush for keeping the pool going in general and all your efforts in the recent DDOS).

Supporting bitcoin as best I can with 1. mining, 2. buying with bitcoin, 3. selling (or trying to) for bitcoin. If you make a donation to: 1MahzUUEYJrZ4VbPRm2h5itGZKEguGVZK1 I'll get it into circulation.

slush, no worries here. thanks for the time you put into this whole thing... the namecoin work, and especially the time and effort during the ddos thing. it happens when it happens.

You can find more information about them here http://www.peerblock.com/ I am only using the p2p and spyware blacklists.

I believe that there are still some errors with BTC rewarding mechanism, example: blocks 8411, 8412 from last night 3 and 9 minutes -> reward 0 (I'm minning on this pool non stop since few days and, honestly - it is hard to believe that my rig (1.5 GH) did not generate any shares during 12 minutes... i should also mention that i did not have any connection problems since yesterday so i don't understand this behaviour). Hoping that more experienced users will be able to explain that ... thx in advance

It may take few minutes until reward of last round is displayed properly, as in this case. Next example, this time after 90 minutes (rig works with api.bitcoin.cz:8332 all the time...). Something is seriously wrong # Block found Duration Total shares Your reward Block # Validity 8419 2011-10-15 12:42:44 1:32:42 1538163 none 149391 100 confirmations left

Hey everyone -- Slush's website is down for planned maintenance -- does that mean NMC payout coming soon?
