yes, this july.
and let me also state, that it was enough for me to send mcxnow an email requesting to add DVC, they asked why, I replied and gave some simple argumets, and voila, they have dvc on. it really takes a little initiative. go people, i did my part, do yours.

I'm curious what your arguments to mcxNOW were.  Perhaps the same ones will still work for keeping it on?  I don't want to be a pest about it, though, and I've already messaged RS about it, but maybe it would help others to also write.

I don't care too much about Mt. Gox for personal use, but I do have an account with them somewhere, so maybe I'll write them and request this anyway.  Thanks for the info.

After listening to RS over the past couple days, his problem is the code. He says it's unstable and it takes more work than it's worth to keep things running/working. I assume this means daemon crashing and stuff. He hasn't said anything truly derogatory about the coin that I've seen; pretty much his entire argument is based on how unmaintained the code is. And, with that said, I can completely see his point of view there. If things are taking a lot of work for him to keep running (we know about the massive memory usage, so I'm sure that plays into it), it makes sense that he'd rather go with something more stable.

I think the goal here should be to fix the existing issues and then push for a re-addition. Pushing him to do something when he has solid reasons for not doing it isn't going to get us anywhere.

Or just get it fixed before he takes DVC off, which I believe is in about four weeks.  I don't know if that's even realistic, though.

Hmmm, I'm not sure how to read this.  Huh  Cheesy

What does the __-word count mean following our usernames? The total word counts at the bottom are cumulative, right?

The way to read that is... like yours is 40-words. This means you got 40 shares after the multiplier and whatnot is added.

Thanks wiser for listing my bookstore! I will have some more titles up this weekend too.

Please shoot me your DVC addy and I'll send you some DVC as we'd discussed. BTW, my PMs are back on, so I'm good for the next round.

Just wanted to let you guys know we're accepting DevCoin!

For the first time ever a website has been created that makes buying collectible reserve notes with Bitcoin and all major altcoins fun and easy. And with our fast delivery time you’ll get your notes within 3 to 4 business days. Our notes are great for collecting, spending, or trading with friends!

http://www.coinbucks.net

Our uncirculated notes are great for converting your hashpower into “real world” items like fuel or food. During our beta phase we will be focusing on small denominations and limiting daily orders. This will give us a chance to adjust margins, fine-tune the payment system, and streamline our shipping process. Then as we grow we will increase these limits and begin adding more rare and valuable paper currency.

My devtome user: mrc is not present in any list from github (csv or py).
Have I done something wrong?

I'm not sure but does CoinBucks count towards the three share bounty for non-mining businesses?  If yes I will make a formal post so that Unthinkingbit can add it to the bounty list.

About Devtome I think it would be a good idea to add a polling system and a forum into the site so we can all congregate there.

A polling system with historical data can be very useful to  funnel all ideas and suggestions into a listable stack, with ratings on ideas to move them up or down the priority list. We are a little disorganized at the moment it is good to have a forum of our own to develop a concensus to build these ideas.

On the devtome site it would be good for people to create some movement within the devcoin community to rate works, authors, groups more fairly is to pay to rate.  If you like their work you give them 100 if not 1 devcoin maybe more for the author who created a great series of works.

This way we promote and encourage the community to continue writing, it also makes it easy to find constructive comments, if it is only 1 Devcoin consider it, but read the ones with more given. The amount given would be listed on Devtome; The total given to particular works and to authors and groups but the Devcoins would go to the address provided by the author or authors.

It would even be nice to attach bounties to the ideas and suggestions given, maybe a scripted transaction that accepts coins for a bounty signalling to others the importance of the project besides the rating system for polling, it may be important but how much will it take to incentivise someone to do it? If the bounty is met it gets released to the winner(s).

If you think my efforts are worth something; I'll keep on keeping on.

Thanks for catching that, I forgot to add you to the list. I ran devtome manually for you, added you to the devtome 28 list, updated the devtome earnings post, and sent you 23 devcoins to test the address.
