1701  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New Ninjastic.space: which features would you like to see? on: August 25, 2023, 03:31:14 PM
TryNinja great work so far, and I can't wait to see how ninjastic.space 2 will look like.

I am looking for one specific feature or notification in forum (or telegram) that could notify me when specific member gets active again.
They don't have to post anything in forum, but if they log in with their account I want to receive notification about that.
Maybe this fits better for BitcoinTalk SuperNotifier telegram bot, but I think it could work with Ninjastic website also.

One more update I would like to see for Ninjastic is better search function.
Sometimes I try to search my own topics and entering exact title is not giving me correct results or it's giving me topics from other members.

1702  Other / Archival / Re: 🌀 [banned mixer] - CoinJoin Mixer | Your Anonymity Is Our Priority! on: August 25, 2023, 03:09:30 PM
There was no such information on the [banned mixer] website. I saw the information only from you. I'll be waiting.
Thanks for the discount. The coins came
I don't see this announcement posted anywhere in bitcointalk forum also, it looks like this was only posted on their telegram channel two days ago:
https://t.me/unijoin/43

Not everyone is using telegram and it is not good to go in Maintenance mode and still accept deposits, especially for mixers.
This is another bad deja vu Tongue

1703  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: 40 Hardware Wallets, compared feature by feature on: August 25, 2023, 11:53:46 AM
Added support to filter the hardware wallets by all the features.
It looks good, maybe a bit crowded but search option fixes that.
I just checked all hardware wallets that can be purchased with Bitcoin or LN, and I got only 15 from 40 devices, no wonder that ledger is not accepting BTC  Tongue
Imagine someone selling devices that should keep BTC safe in storage, but you won't accept that same BTC ... it just shows how much they support Bitcoin Roll Eyes
1704  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Keystone 3 HW coming soon! on: August 25, 2023, 11:38:08 AM
Foundation Passport that claims that all its software and hardware is open-source.
Except secure element part.
ATECC608A and ATECC608B chips are probably better and more open then other secure elements used in hardware wallets, but they are still not open source.
Kestone is including this same secure element in new Keystone3, but they have additional secure element(s) from different manufacturers.

All Keystone 3 has been sold out!
You can now only order pre-sale Keystone with 20% discount, for around $103 + shipping.
They expect send batch to arrive in November.
1705  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Multi-Sig with Hardware Wallets - Problem on: August 25, 2023, 11:22:18 AM
Now I am also considering the same thing as you. I have generated a multisig wallet with a ledger and a trezor. However, the ledger could not display the details of transaction while sending BTC. I am worried about this.
Don't use ledger crap wallet for any multisig setups!
I talked about this and I will repeat again, ledger can't always construct multisig and/or multisig with ledger can't be properly verified.

Maybe a solutions is that. A 3-of-3 multisig wallet, with two trezors and one obtained using electrum. The two trezors must be purchased in different times. The time interval of purchase data must be more than 2 or 3 years.
It's silly to think buying two Trezor wallets in different times... and I really don't understand your gibberish ideas.
Trezor wallet was not much better than ledger in past, maybe they improved something with model T but I am not so sure about it.
Hardware wallets that work correctly in multisig setup are Bitbox, Passport, Keystone, Coldcard.
1706  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: August 25, 2023, 10:37:38 AM
koliko korisnika je uspjelo naći kampanju preko sopstvenih tema gdje su nudili svoj signature potpis na iznajmljivanje.
+1

Royse je upravo relaunchao Mixero kampanju

Link Mixero ADVANCED MODE Bitcoin Mixer Signature Campaign | Sr+ up-to $250/w

Dobra ideja, a prolaziš li možda pored Dubai kojim slučajem?  Cool
1710  Other / Meta / Re: Icopress ' Merit Source Application 🚩 on: August 24, 2023, 03:12:58 PM
Sorry if I confused you ... I thought that a thread with some kind of eye-catching symbol would catch admin's eye, that's all.
Is that why your avatar keeps mutating?  Cheesy

I don't think that theymos is paying much attention to colors and symbols.
Try to fix and/or report some forum bug and you will get noticed.
1711  Other / Meta / Re: Request: Disable merits in the Wall Observer thread on: August 24, 2023, 03:06:25 PM
The simple solution to the problem is to disable the meriting of WO posts. Much like how signatures were disabled in that thread, it will discourage spammers from flooding the thread.
Solution is not that simple, they can just move to another board/thread and continue ''business'' as usual.
Sure, there is a chance Wall Observer thread could get cleaner, but I seriously doubt that this will happen even if merits gets disabled.
1712  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Whirlwind.money | ⚡No Fee⚡ | Ultimate Privacy | Anonymity Mining 12% APR🔥 on: August 24, 2023, 02:59:00 PM
Interesting theory. There was also a third person, Alexey Pertsev, who isn't mentioned in the indictment. If I'm not mistaken, he was arrested last year in the Netherlands where he spent some time in prison, got released early this year, and now he's waiting for his trial.
Yeah I heard about that, I think he was one of developers who worked on code.
Governments don't like when someone is doing things they don't like, only they can hire hackers to work for them and wash money all the time  Tongue

The same thought crossed my mind when I saw that news since I also read about similarities between ww and Tornado, but would those who are on the run or are connected to those who are on the run start another mixer service instead of laying low for some time until things cool off?
They obviously knew that end days of Tornado is coming soon, so maybe they tried to transition to something new.
It's not only similarities in design, some of you may remember that one of the last messages from man behind WW was plans for introducing of ETH and XMR, and working more on decentralization.
I could be totally wrong about this, and I don't have any insider information Wink
1713  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A must read if you are running Crypto wallet on PC on: August 24, 2023, 02:48:36 PM
7Zip is open source and it should be your primary choice.
WinRar is not really a free software since it's showing ads all the time, and you have to pay to remove this ads (or use cracked version),but 7zip is very good basic option.
There are few other open source alternatives for winrar, like PeaZip that looks much better, have better integration with OS, and it supports more files.
However, if you want to avoid all this risks and complications it's best to switch from win0S to good Linux OS (Fedora, Debian, Mint) that already have integrated compression tools.
After doing that you wont have to worry anymore about malware and remote attacks.
1714  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ledger, safe or not? on: August 24, 2023, 02:38:56 PM
What is your verdict? Safe? Avoid?
I would not use and trust that crap at all, and it's not only because of ledger recover service.
They are pretty much trying to be shitcoin wallet that don't care about customer privacy for a long time, they leaked private information, they have terrible battery for model X, and they have worst quality control ever.
It's just junk made in China, than later assembled in some French village garage, and graveyard of old ledger wallet models is getting bigger every day.
I would not be surprised if they have some hidden government backdoor code with bunch of signed NDA's, but this is just my speculation.
1715  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Whirlwind.money | ⚡No Fee⚡ | Ultimate Privacy | Anonymity Mining 12% APR🔥 on: August 24, 2023, 09:18:36 AM
I don't understand why people are so obsessed with the 12% APR. If they had the money to run the most profitable signature campaign, leave $40k as collateral, charged absolutely zero for mixing, and carried a shitload amount of money to begin with as we saw, then it doesn't preclude the possibility that they wanted to attract users via APR.
They certainly attracted several people in forum to leave coins received from signature campaign so they could earn a bit more.
It was suspicious to me when they first released 12% APR and I wrote about that publicly, but this is not huge percentages like we saw in regular scams.

Let me enter Speculation Station now,
I don't want to vindicate whirlwind or to justify what happened with them, but I noticed several people mentioned about similarities with Tornado cash service, and we know that escrow funds was deposited in DAI tokens on ethereum blockchain.
Now I saw one interesting news posted few days ago about recently arrested Tornado Cash co-founder Roman Storm, while fellow co-founder Roman Semenov remains at large, and he is added to the list of US sanctioned individuals.
It's not impossible to think there was some connection with whirlwind, and this could be one of the reasons for their/his absence and for service not working anymore.
https://www.justice.gov/usao-sdny/pr/tornado-cash-founders-charged-money-laundering-and-sanctions-violations

We may never know if there was any connection or nor, but I would like to know the truth, one way or another.

U oba slučaja ljudi su bili prevareni i poslali su Bitcoine osobama koje su upoznali samo online.

1718  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Foundation Passport Official Thread on: August 23, 2023, 05:57:47 PM
I don't think 3D printing works with electronic components. Except for maybe the case as dkbit98 hinted.
It's not that hard to make your of PCB's, I saw many tutorials posted online, but it can be tricky if you are doing it for the first time.

Where's that?
I was thinking this could be possible in theory  Wink

I'm not sure, but according to their docs, Flutter apps should run on Android versions that support the API version 21 to 34
Hmmm that's strange, it should work.
I even tried it one Android emulator with newer Android version but I couldn't start Envoy app.
Most of the other apps I checked before in my testing worked just with this emulator.

The minimum version is Android 10 for Envoy. Pro tip, you can check in the Play Store under "About" and it will list the "Required OS" versions!
How about pro tip for people who are using de-g00gled phones Wink

1719  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Let's talk about Reproducible Builds for Hardware Wallets firmware on: August 23, 2023, 05:44:22 PM
So this whole thing is a charade. I see no logical reason to run a site that on first sight seems just slightly tied / sponsored by CoinKite / ColdCard, while being actually run by them, instead of just posting reproducibility instructions on the actual wallet's GitHub page and calling it a day.
Funny thing that I exposed this charade first time this website was released, when they showed fake donation received from Coinkite aka Coldcard  Cheesy
However, I don't think bitcoinbinary.org website is a bad idea overall, since everyone can use it for all other bitcoin wallets.
Question is how many people are actually using bitcoinbinary.org for this purpose, according to their log I see that last checked wallet was ColCard back in April of this year, before that it was Bitcoin Core in January... there is nothing more in whole 2023...

Archive of ''donation'':

1720  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Someone displaying their own Ledger seed phrase on: August 23, 2023, 05:38:53 PM
Of course, we all heard about the recent problems of the Ledger company, but have things reached the point that the wallet can no longer be trusted anymore?
Yes, I don't trust ledger and any of their products, but you have to make this decision for yourself, don't just ask what random people in forum think about it.
I really don't see what this posted image with fake seed phrase has to do with trusting or not trusting ledger wallets.
