IMO not too bad for a town, being a center of fintech. The thing is, bitcoin for utility payments is not so new for the rest of the world. Their next step should be like a blockchain-backed legislation and government - that would put them on the spotlight.

What do you guys think, the CAVs will sweep ATL? Kinda hoping ATL would challenge the cavs at first before the playoffs but guess what, its 3-nill.

Yobit is showing early cryptsy signs.
It has been like that for ages. I still look at Yobit to be more of a churn-and-burn business, like sooner or later it's gonna vanish. I may be wrong, it's just, maybe I got their branding wrong.

We must use Bitcoin because it's convenient and fast! No bureaucracy. transaction speed. Convenient shopping. No control of the state and, therefore, no theft.
Actually it's easier for me use btc than go to the bank and deposit cash to load up my debit card to purchase stuff online. Banks here have a hell lot of line, and 7-11's are definitely more convenient when it comes to purchasing btcs. Aside from that our family's into remittances, so it definitely helps.

Unreal! I can't believe that three point went in with 10.5 seconds left on the clock. For the ones that bet under on points, that is over now as they will score over 190.5 points now. under 190.5 confirmed Under is good, nice win for raptors although miami covers, miami's lost today kill my parlay but there is another opportunity for me to bet on the series bet since the line will be up soon due to raptors win, this is going to be an exciting match up but I like miami in 6. BOL everyone. This series is tough. 2 OT games? Sooner or later these teams will just break out from fatigue.

These matches are bit difficult to guess.Miami Heat vs Toronto Raptors points option is looking good to me as well.I will take minimum available option which is 187 points @1.8 odd to make money.
Good catch. I'm thinking on going for the Heat this time around. It may be very risky considering the Raptors are hungry for a win but hey, the odds are good.

I'm not sure if I'm a big fan of news like this, if countries start to see Bitcoin as a real currency, does that mean that I would have to pay taxes on Bitcoins that I already own?
I'm pretty sure not when you just 'own' it. They can't tax your money. But when you spend it, that's when the tax duties would come.

Miami won this game. The veterans are too much for this inexperienced craptors team, may they just follow the trend to always lost in game 1 of the series. They just broke they 1st round winning drought and maybe the 2nd round would be for the next playoff. One step at a time raptors. Miami fan here.
lol if Heat's veteran is too much for Raptors why the game is close and reached overtime. The turning point just happened in the ot meaning it's a close game throughout the regulation. What a post game analyzation for a Heat fan. Miami can get this series but take note that they struggle for Hornets which is far less dominating team compare to Raptors. Game 1 can't dictate this series. While it can't dictate the series it sure can set the pace. An OT game is very tiring for both teams coming from a 7-game stretch in the first round. Probably this series would be a test of endurance and how deep the roster of each team is. And IMO, with Bosh still out indefinitely, I'm doubting if the Heat can last.

All this politics so close to the halving, probably there's some agenda to this revelation, like market manipulation of some sort?

It's already 1-1 the OKC-Spurs series. Didn't expect OKC to pull off that one, but IMO, this series will test Durant's endurance. He can't always lift OKC. Westbrook can do some lifting, but I still don't think that would be enough. Probably a 4-2/4-3 series in favor of the Spurs.

Can you sign a message with a bitcoin address that satoshi owned? I can't really believe that since one would have to check past transactions from that address to prevent being scammed by a wrong signature.
Is it a risk at all?
No, that's not what Craig Wright did. He didn't actually sign anything. He just converted an old input to base64 to make it look like a signature. That's why no one (except the so-called "journalists") is buying it. It's going big, I even watched it on Bloomberg. They said bitcoin creator was finally found.

Bitcoin is a glorious clusterfuck; you can go and check the value in the morning and see it is up from the previous day, then check back it at 5pm and it's gone down $5-$10, then check again at 8pm and its down a total of $35, and then you can check it the next morning and it's back up $40.
There is no real way to predict anything that will happen with the value, because it is just too damn volatile.
The price is still volatile in the short term, especially within a week, the price can go from $470 to $430 then $450. Some analysts say the bull run is over, so I'm supposing we should expect another bear?

I'm finding all this advancement in Japan kinda weird. From people I've talked to who've been there it's a very cash oriented society. ATMs even close on holidays.
Good news overall for financial industry and bitcoins also This is ok news for the financial industry, but for some people this won't be good news, especially if it means that blockchains are going to become more apparent in average financial markets. Money laundering would be much harder, and bribes more recognizable. Which makes it a lot more friendlier to the eyes of critics and regulators doesn't it? It'll help with adoption.

Nope. Those guys must be drowning in money these days. Having said that Coinbase still do it occasionally but they got deeper pockets and bigger aims.
Really? It seems to me Polo now has the deeper pocket. Just look at this volume from Polo: 53601.16 BTC / 3015.149 XMR / 123548.535 USDT and that's just in the last 24 hrs.

It's may already guys, hopefully this month would be the primetime. $600 before this month is over? It's entirely plausible.

Adridge and Kawhi ate the Thunder wholly, they can never have fought back from that lead. It was over by third quarter! It's all set then, the West is a battle between Spurs and GSW, and frankly, I'd say Spurs got this.

NXT and Bitshares. Both have interesting features (coloured coins, assets, Bitshares has "stable" assets, NXT has an integrated payment processor) and solid PoS algorithms which don't rely on centrally broadcasted checkpoints, like many PoS coins. BitShares is a bit more centralized because of its DPoS algorithm.
And NEM, but it uses a slightly different algorithm (Proof of Importance) which also takes into account the activity of the account.
Peercoin used to be on my list too, but its development is a bit slow and it still has centrally broadcasted checkpoints and no cold-storage minting. So until this does not change, no recommendation from me.
Nice, me too, I only keep NXT ant BitShares for investment. The others I try to trade. Haven't done real research about NEM, I'll take a look.

Pains me to see the Clippers bow out early due to injuries. Damn GSW getting lucky once again. Portland would be just a breeze once Curry starts to play.
