I used Cuda 5.5 toolkit and build with Visual Studio 2012

I probably made about the same fixes to the code as you did. My build was much faster than the one previously posted here (not by you, by someone else), but not quite as fast as yours is now (hadn't seen you'd just added that to the OP before I posted Smiley )

I know using CUDA 5.0 vs CUDA 5.5 toolkit makes a speed difference. That, and maybe the fact that I am using Visual Studio 2010
and the dependencies I made available in the OP.

it did not help me but i only have a Fermi card when i tested but that was maybe 6 months ago now
so that would be many driver versions ago.. right now i am using current one.

guys if your 20% slower PLEASE state what compute version it says and maybe what card and your command line etc
some guys said Kepler cards get a speed boost on cuda 5.5 and i never heard of that until 2 pages back lol

Hmm even with 500 I'm getting "Given launch config exceeds warp limit"
Time to lower it further. But lower the x... number first by 2 or 4. That should also help.

Guys does it make sense to solo mine on a single GTX 770 anymore? I just got it to start a few hours back and till now I have got nothing

pool mining is the way to go, if you want a steady trickle of income.

But solo-mining is even profitable if you find just 1 block per month. That's still worth about 1 BTC each, at current
exchange rates and pays for way more than the electricity.

hey chubby once again i am bowing out..
do your own support..
i was going to help a bunch more of these guys while you sit on vacation
but naw screw it YOU do it.. your the one making donation money from it Wink

PS: i am deleting my link now

and in case people don't know this guy has a rep for being a dick
i have discussed it with some very well known devs in the scene lol
i have also given bug fixs etc to chubner1 long ago and he acted like a snotty dick and / or ignored me
only to release fix's for it MONTHS after i and others posted about it in the first place (proving me right)
which didn't even work anyway and yet again he called me a liar basically..

your the expert ? then do your own coding.. AND provide source code *if requested Wink

i'm out .

Thanks man...and really appreciate what you have done over the last day or two. I was unable to start mining right away and tried for half the night before I gave up at around 4 in the morning. I go to work, come back and get a new wallet address, and boom its on again.

I am going to mine through the pool as it seems quite quick right now, but lets see. Also you get 96 coins per block?
