HashFast, Cointerra, KnC pending...
they will have 28nm chips. Bitfury still only 50% of KnC power draw and already delivering Bitfury at wall is around 1W/GH KnC Max at wall is 1.6W/GH Somehow I'm not seeing the 50% Would you prefer a 400GHs by Bitfury delivered in a week or a 400GHs by KnC early October? That is the question my friend... That isn't the question, depends on cost. Would I pay $20,000 for a unit delivered now max 400GH or $7000 Delivered 30 Days from now with Minimum 400GH? Bitfury 400Gh is only $8580 compares to US$6795, http://www.bitfurystrikesback.com/shop/

I think a simple slogan maybe.
Mine, all mine.
As for knowing that KnC don't have chips ? Really? How do you know they didn't get them this morning? Because they didn't bleat about it on a forum? Maybe the day they DO get chips (or did) they thought of more important things to do with them? They could have them in hand any day now, or have them already. Maybe a quick test and a pic of an assembled module or real performance data from that would prove to be a better laxative to their competitors in their eyes?
Sorry dude, here only 1 rule applies now: Show me the chips! Go read Labcoin thread how people attacked on the announcement without proofs. KnC: Late to party! Where are the Chips? Where are the Chips?

Was it $20,000 priced? Don't forget that it exists Bitfury 55nm ASIC by Reel (October Delivery)?? This are Asic Chip??
You are selling 3000 chip for Euro 45K?/ so Euro15 per chip or $19.5?? and each chip is 5gh/s??, so 3000 x 5gh/s = 1.5TH??
Amazing, July you charge E240K x $1.30 = $312k but October only E45K x $1.30 = $58.5 ?/ Opps this are all Euro.
$19.50 per chip of / 5gh/s = $3.90 per gh/s is very reasonable I would say.
But your full kit is expensive - 400gh/s for $9750 is $24 per gh/s.
I would go Bitfury mate, sorry... EVEN NOW I would prefer October BF than October KnC because a chip exists 100%. EDIT: BTW missed both these trains, oh well... Ya, if you are not first in line you might as well be last with ASICS. No No No Bitfury is NOT still half KNC on Watts if they are getting HALF the expected Hashrate & delivering 2x as many boards to make up for it... So Bitfury's you must DOUBLE what they Spec.'d at. And now that they must deliver DOUBLE expected boards, you can expect delays

Klee I don't understand your beef. If you still have an order as you claim, and you are unhappy, go ask for your refund. Why continue tormenting yourself, when you clearly aren't confident?

So So, you'd try and leave that tester on every machine? It's called the "Paperclip trick", but does not imply to leave a paperclip in the pins. You didn't quote the rest of my post either, where it says I'm using a WIRE NUT to connect the two wires, which is appropriate for our task, and yes... professional. Your little tester would be great if the task were only to test the unit. I modded & tested all three of my PSU's yesterday, re-boxed them, and are ready to ship to the Bat-cave, so when I arrive to connect the machines, it will truly be plug & mine.

Bitfury at wall is around 1W/GH SourceKnC Max at wall is 1.6W/GH Somehow I'm not seeing the 50% Bitfury is 0.8 J/Gh at wall according to 2 customers who have received their units. Quite exactly 50% of KnC (estimated) 1.6 J/Gh. That can change tho, if KnC does it's under promise, over deliver thing.
Each board turned out to do ~22.2 Gh/s instead of promised 25Gh/s. Happy days for starter kit orderers who got 2x22Gh instead of promised 25Gh. Still 0.8 J/Gh - 100% more efficient than KnC - no matter how many more boards they ship.

Especially since they(Bitfury) showed their talent in the results, not to mention its a rat's nest of boards with no case. People are using fishing line & cardboard boxes to assemble those crappy things. No thanks.

I'm pretty sure most here are willing to live with gear held together with bubble gum, duct tape or snot -- as long as it makes them money. You, of course, are welcome to wait for the sexy raw aluminum box of fans. There's an old joke about NASA developing a pen that works in outer space, while the crude, clueless Russians used pencils.

Let's hope their "margins upon margins" and "underpromise, overdeliver" also includes the shipping date. In the business world "shipping in October" means "we move the boxes closer to the door to our factory October 31st, maybe they'll get out the door in early November". If they intended to ship mid-October they would have just said that. I agree though, that unless something slows the difficulty, receiving your unit Nov 1 means taking a significant loss (probably at least 20%). Maybe all this Avalon drama will put a dent in the difficulty, but doesn't seem too likely.

It's sad that the 25Gh overpromise turned into a 44Gh underdelivery.

To get to that 37k TH where your equilibrium is you would need an additional ~350 000 in KNC's 28nm Chips.... Or 144 MILLION avalon Chips. So PLEASE stop making spreadsheets if you have no idea how economics works.
