Silly slush, everybody knows that nobody acknowledges monthly luck, only bad 24-72 hour luck.

Pool had weird issues with Tor. Although Tor process as been running and there were no errors in the log AND website has been reachable over Tor, Tor mining stopped working. I restarted Tor and it works again, but Tor miners probably experienced downtime for many hours.

Miners not using Tor have not been affected by this issue.

I'm considering to drop of NMC support, because this project is basically dead and current merged mining sources are incompatible with latest bitcoin development (no support for merged mining over getblocktemplate etc). There's no project development since merged mining has been introduced in last October...

What's the problem with using getblocktemplate for merged mining? I think that should work.

I agree namecoin seems dead, though. I wish they would at least fix the bugs they have that were fixed in bitcoin long ago.

:-) Slush is just one person, but that bitcoin wallet is the first project which I'm not doing alone. And we're making nice progress!

Oh I know.  I saw the video of you presenting in London this past year so I know you really exist.  But back to not sleeping, how's that DGM or DGM variant coming along?  What's the chance it will be in place before asics hit?  I don't have a lot to offer but I'm willing to sacrifice some hashing power to the anti-hopper effort if you need a beta tester.  Just PM me.

Howdy,

I received my regular payout (got a notification email as usual) about two hours ago, but it still has not even shown up in block explorer.  This is unusual; is there any obvious reason for this that I am not aware of?

blockexplorer.com has generally served me well in showing transactions that my client had not caught up with yet... But this time, well I just have never seen blockexplorer.com lag like this before.  It has been over three hours now and still, no sign of this transaction on blockexplorer.com even.  Just extremely unusual, and making me very curious.

http://blockexplorer.com/address/1Jub25y7Mj4kTrrY9uYpvrwcK3KUpASjmU

The 1Jub25y7Mj4kTrrY9uYpvrwcK3KUpASjmU is my payout address.

I received my usual notification email about the payout (this time in the amount of 0.5096738 BTC) about three hours ago, and if you click the link above, you will see no record of this amount (would be at or near the bottom of the page).  Every time before (since I began mining a little over a year ago) it would only be a matter of minutes at most from the time I received the notification email, to the time blockexplorer.com would show a record of the transaction.  I have never seen anything like this in the history of my mining experience.  I hope nothing is wrong.
