If u restart miner just after dev free is mined, the devfee timer gets reset and it again starts to devfee mine in 10 -15 minutes. . Anyone else see this happening. . ?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Asrock Challenger RX 5700 (Non-XT) - I got it 24/7 stable with the following settings in Phoenix mining ETH. I also share some tips for those like myself who experience AMD drivers crashing and resetting their clocks in Windows. Check it out below.

Config:   0.850 vcore | 1350 core | 1840 Mem | 56.97 Mhs | 118 watts

I can get to 58 Mhs + but it is not 24/7 stable with current drivers, I also modified my GPU in past content released on my channel.

Improved ETH Hashrate | Red Bios Editor Mem Mod
https://youtu.be/LwGUJjQgj38

Red Bios Editor - More Power Tool (Igor's Lab):
https://www.igorslab.de/red-bios-editor-bios-eintraege-anpassen-optimieren-und-noch-stabiler-uebertakten-navi-unlimited/

Force flash your GPU vbios, but MAKE SURE to always back up your original.
Commands to run:

amdvbflash -unlockrom 0

amdvbflash -p -f 0 NAMEOFYOURBIOS.rom

Updated - MorePowerTool - 1.2
https://www.igorslab.de/morepowertool-amd-radeon-rx-5700-und-rx-5700-xt-tweaking-und-uebertaktungssoftware/2/
It's easy to get good speeds with one card. The more cards you add, the more strange things happens. My GTX 1660 TI rigs have uptime of several weeks.. Early test of MorePowerTool did not help either.

Right? Especially for my XFX 570 Rigs. Half of them are Micron and the other half is Hynix.
One default setting is 1100/2000 where the other is 1180/1950. Exact same card just different memory.
As far as overclocking goes I have it set to:
-acm -wdog 1 -tt 70 -hstats 2 -powlim -5 -cvddc 900 -cclock 1100 -mvddc 900 -mclock 2010 -fanmin 25 -fanmax 90
and average 29MH/s each except for one which only gives me 26MH/s. It bugs the hell out of me!
If I change anything even a little everything goes crazy. I start getting incorrect shares, hardware errors, crashes and best case scenario it significant (at least 10%) drop in hash rate.
Example: If I set the mclock to 2000 (instead of 2010) I lose average 27.5MH/s across the board. Even the one that gives me 26MH/s when it's set to 2010. Doesn't make any sense.
I even try -mclock 2010,2010,2010,2010,2000,2010,2010,2010 (changing only the 5th card) and nothing happens. Like I said, it bugs the hell out of me.

My XFX 5700 rig of just 3 identical cards (so far) has a card that will not ever go beyond 1800Mhz. It just can't. The others will go up to 1820 but crash after a couple of hours (day max) 1810 is fairly stable but as soon as I move that card to even 1805 it'll start hashing 0MH/s within an hour. I'm always trying to optimize it though. But I've reflashed the bios, played around with drivers, used MorePowerTool, etc. It seems like there are a lot of people on here that have their own little "sweet spot" for the relatively same equipment and what works for one person doesn't always work for everyone else.

I found out today, that the place to set the mem speed is in the Radeaon software. 4 Cards seems to be stable now @ 1800. Earlier my tests also indicated that 1810-1820 is the sweet spot. I will however always prefer stability.

Hi! Sorry for my English.
I can no longer mining ETC my 570 4GB(Windows).
If I put Linux will still be mining for some time?
Or does it no longer make sense?
I'm new to mining, please tell me!
What will last longer on Linux? Claymore or Phoenix?

With PhoenixMiner normally you can still mine with "-rvram -1" parameter

Miner didn't support newest 20.4.1 AMD drivers. Miner needs update.
Looks like AMD make new OpenCL driver...

edit.
NVM... the miner itself is stating unknown.  miner still mines normally for me though.

Miner have full functionality only with known OpenCL driver. In this case it can use optimized eth kernels for optimal speed.
Sometimes in driver updates AMD change OpenCL driver and miner need update too for work properly.
With known OpenCL driver miner 1st string after launch writes version of founded OpenCL driver. F.e. on 20.3.x and previous miner writes that it Find known OpenCL driver version 19.12.2-3 (OpenCL driver didn't changes from 19.12.2 driver up to 20.3.1)

On new 20.4.1 driver miner wrote 1st string after launch that finded OpenCL driver is unknown. Miner can't use optimized kernels for optimal speed. And without these kernels speed rate is jumps up and down, and many rejected shares appears. So better use old drivers or wait miner update.

I'm seeing issues with my Navi now.  Lots of stales and rejects.   My Vega VII are working fine though.  All shares are accepted on my Vega VII

So, to reach max speed with PM you need an AMD Memory Tweak Tool to set REF parameter manually.
PM didn't have analog of -rxboost option. But AMD MTT can do it on the fly just during mining.
Got to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5123724.0
Download tool and launch it. Set REF parameter. That's all. Your mining speed will increase.

Yes, you need. Increasing REF parameter is possible only via CM -rxboost parameter or via AMD Memory Tweak.

what is the best settings mining on RX 5700 ?

Thats to broad of a question.  Each 5700 is different and can handle more or less OC/UV.  So what brand and model do you have?

Question to you would be are these stock 5700 or 5700xt?

Have you flashed the xt bios onto a 5700 if it is base model?

Have you modded the bios (copied 1500 straps on down)?

None modded 5700 is usually good at 1175 core, 750 v, 1800 memory, 850 v

modded 5700xt is usually good at 1300 core, 775 v, 1800-1820memory, 850 v

That will give you a starting point, u can make adjustments based on if you card can handle those settings without crashing or a bunch of stale shares.
