Hello all. Does anyone have a MSI Evoke 5700? I also have a Mech 5700. Both flashed to the same BIOS (5700 XT + Strap mode), same BIOS mod 1500 straps and yet the Evoke barely hits 52MH/s where the Mech is hitting 55MH/s easily. I have another Evoke on the way as well as a Mech so I can confirm whether or not the Mech is just a better card or not. I have tweaked all the clock settings to find the optimal for stability and speed but that Evoke just won't hash as well as the Mech.
So what I am trying to figure out if others are having similar issues or not.
Hello, msi xt 5700 8 Gb EVOKE OC. You must edit only 1 ts bios straps copy 1550 and down! The second bios must be unchanged! Otherwise, the cards will not give a higher hash Can edit both, be fine, only the one for your memory type gets used so just change both. The display monitor will hash noticably slower. Also, check memory temperature, if memory hits 105C it will throttle core.

Otherwise, the cards will not give a higher hash Can edit both, be fine, only the one for your memory type gets used so just change both. The display monitor will hash noticeably slower. Also, check memory temperature, if memory hits 105C it will throttle core. I too have only 2 EVOKE's thankfully. I only buy the Mech's if I find them at a decent price since I know I can get the 55MH/s out of them. I was wondering if it was just mine but it does appear that they only get 52MH/s no matter what you do. Maybe someone will find a trick to kick them up a notch..

Hello all, Just wanted to share my experience. I currently have 2 MSI 5700XT Evoke. I know lot's of peeps don't like the Evokes but they are working pretty well for me. I have another one on the way and 3 Sapphire Pulse 5700 XT's. I will update when they get here next week. I have also used CM exclusively till now. So learning how to tweak PM. Also selling most of my cards and replacing them with 5700 XT's. Both cards have had there 1500 bios straps copied all the way down for both memory types. Here is my experience with the 5700 XT's mining under Windows 10 with all updates: (using PM 5.1c, and many different drivers) With the straps copied, it hashed at 52.xx Mh/s with stock settings and used 240 watts. If I tried to change any settings (voltage, core, memory) it will crash. I tried changing settings with MSI Afterburner, OverdriveNtool and Radeon setting that came with the driver. It doesn't matter which one I used, it will crash as soon as I change any settings. So I decided to try SMOS. I have been mining since 2017 but it's been awhile since I used SMOS. SMOS is also using PM 5.1c: It took a little tweaking, but I think I got it stable and running well. I have both cards hashing at 54.7ish. It is using 280 watts at the wall with both cards attached. My settings are 1342 core 900 mem and 1313 mvdd. I will attach pictures. I hope this helps someone. https://i.imgur.com/0tojmbu.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/WmC48AX.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/LuZMjVh.jpg

Thanks for the info. It looks like it only works on Windows. I will see if I can mine in Windows with it. Right now I can't mine in Windows for some reason.

So... here's what issue I've been running into. First... my rig: Gigabyte GA-B250-FinTech LGA1151 Intel ATX Cryptocurrency Mining 12PCIe 3.0 DDR4 Motherboard https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07988FLFW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1100GB of virtual memory on a 500GB SSD. I have 10 RX 5700XT cards. (3 XFX Reference and 7 Sapphire Pulse cards dual bios cards) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TB5FBV6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WC7683C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1All ten have the 1500 strap bios mod. Windows 10 ver 2004 Currently with PM 5.1c and Adrenaline 19.9.1 Now... for some reason my clock speeds are: Core: 1400 Memory: 880 cvddc: 880 If I upgrade the driver (to say 20.4.2)... a random card will crash. Guaranteed. Never the same one. If I remove one I have a pretty good chance of it being stable BUT not at those clock speeds. I have to change the memory to 1750. Any higher and I get a crash. (blue screen) Temperatures seem fine. Command: -mi 14 -hstats 2 -mt 2 -tstart 60 -tstop 85 -wdog 1 -tt 60 -ttli 90 and I'm averaging 546.6 for all ten so that's almost 55MH/s. I can't really tell how much from the wall because I have it on a 220v circuit with two other machines but it looks as though each card is running between 104w to 110w. So my questions: Why is my current driver (19.9.1) displaying 880 for memory but as soon as I change driver I have to double the memory to make it work? Why would my rig crash (BSOD) with the latest driver that everyone seems to say is "stable"? It seems to run fine as is... but it sucks that I can never seem to update my driver. I've tried DDU and that doesn't help. I've tried MPT. I've done the bios mod... went back to stock bios (for each card that I individually saved but later found out that GPU-Z corrupts some of the saved bios files. I'm *thinking* that the GPU-Z backup was corrupted, modded with RedBiosEditor and since I flashed it to the cards I could have *possibly* messed something up... but then why would it run fine with 19.9.1 driver? Now I'm hearing from RedPanda that some manufacturers aren't even letting customers RMA their cards if they've been bios modded because of the PID mismatch so even if I acquired a fresh bios somewhere online the PID wouldn't match up. So... I'm thinking that my best option is to find the original bios for Sapphire 11293-01-20G Radeon PULSE RX 5700 Xt and XFX RX-57XT8MFD6 cards. https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/214054/sapphire-rx5700xt-8192-190812https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/212289/xfx-rx5700xt-8192-190616Red Bios Edit the straps to those. Flash them individually, then with just ONE card installed flash the latest Adrenaline driver... then plug in each one separately and hope that it works. Unless... someone else has any other suggestions. Personally... it's working fine for me other than the fact that I can't update the drivers so I'm not in any hurry... but I am open to suggestions if anyone has them. Thanks!

So... here's what issue I've been running into. First... my rig: Gigabyte GA-B250-FinTech LGA1151 Intel ATX Cryptocurrency Mining 12PCIe 3.0 DDR4 Motherboard https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07988FLFW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1100GB of virtual memory on a 500GB SSD. What does the percent thing mean when it rolls off the temps and power? what does 1872% mean? I'm running 1 GPU a RX 5700XT OC 2100 on the core and 1888 memory It says 2020.08.28:20:29:41.955: main GPU1: 41C 1872% 221W

I don't think if my command line was correct, I see some improvement in hashrate but my 4 ramaining cards never get the increase like other card got, Im using same brand of rx 570 4gb.. my command line:PhoenixMiner.exe -pool asia1.ethermine.org:4444 -pool2 asia1.ethermine.org:14444 -wal 0xa465*****E6F45d49ce57E************4.john1010007 -mt 2 -amd -tt 60,55,60,55,55,60,60,60,60,60,60,60 -eres 2 -wdog 1 -proto 2 -powlim -10,-10,-10,-10,-10,-10,-10,-10,-10,-10,-10,-10 -gt 45,28,45,45,45,45,45,45,45,45,45,45 -fanmin 70,70,70,70,70,70,70,70,70,70,70,70 -rmode 1 -gpureset 1 result:main Eth speed: 327.666 MH/s, shares: 111/0/0, time: 0:22 2020.08.19:07:33:49.251: main GPUs: 1: 27.058 MH/s (11) 2: 27.933 MH/s (2) 3: 27.895 MH/s (9) 4: 25.981 MH/s (11) 5: 25.643 MH/s ( 6: 27.895 MH/s (7) 7: 25.973 MH/s (14) 8: 27.896 MH/s (10) 9: 27.899 MH/s (12) 10: 27.897 MH/s (13) 11: 27.892 MH/s (7) 12: 27.704 MH/s (7) You don't nedd to put 12 times the same parameter if it's the same for your 12 cards. What are your clocks? for the same GPU I have : - 30,8 Mh/s 1150/2060 @875mV with 30 in REF parameter in AMDTweakXL. (Samsung Memory) - 29,9 Mh/s 1110/2000 @875mV with 30 in REF parameter in AMDTweakXL. (Hynix Memory) Yeah your right but this command line seems works a little for me and my cards are different moded bios, for example 10 of them are ASUS strix and they've got same moded bios, while the other was MSI and they have also a different moded bios, that's why Im' experimenting the command line... But thanks anyway for you reply, my ASUS are elpida and i don't know what the MSI is. how you manage get so high hash rate?mind share or pm me.ia also using RX570-4gb

I hope this helps someone. https://i.imgur.com/0tojmbu.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/WmC48AX.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/LuZMjVh.jpgTry this in bat for windows PhoenixMiner.exe -pool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -wal your adress -worker 5700xt -epsw x -pool2 eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -tstop 70 -tt 50 -cclock 1250 -cvddc 775 -mclock 1800 -hstats 2 pause Its working on Sapphire 5700xt se 52MH/s without bios mod

I'm actually asking for some feedback and helpful suggestions. I'm also putting it out there to see if anyone else has experienced something similar. Everyone says that 20.4.2 is stable. That hasn't been my experience at all. Most stable for me are drivers that were released over a year ago. I'd say that almost everyone would agree that it's unusual.
