user in Reddit contradicts the news

lol

Here is the link to the Ukranian bank's warning. You can read it with google translate.

http://bank.gov.ua/control/uk/publish/article?art_id=11879608&cat_id=80928

It does not say bitcoin has been banned, merely that it cannot be used as a means of payment in Ukraine. Here's the translation

Given the above, the National Bank of Ukraine considers "virtual currency / Cryptocurrency " Bitcoin as a money substitute that is not providing real value and can not be used by individuals and entities on the territory of Ukraine as a means of payment, because it is contrary to the norms of Ukrainian legislation

It also says the National Bank of Ukraine is not liable for risks and losses associated with the use of bitcoin. Here's the translation

We emphasize that the risks for use in the calculation of "virtual currency / Cryptocurrency " Bitsoin responsible party payments for them. National Bank of Ukraine as a regulator is not liable for risks and losses associated with the use of "virtual currency / Cryptocurrency " Bitsoin.

This - from the googletranslated article, it appears Ukraine's existing laws ban the use of currencies not issued by the central bank for payments, and they've clarified that Bitcoin falls under this category, and is therefore not to be used for payments. It's not exactly a full ban but it's also not just them washing their hands of the matter.

It appears it's still legal to buy bitcoins in Ukraine though, and the initial articles claimed it was completely banned.

yes like in most countries only the national currency can be used as a means of payment in that country...  i swear there is some group that comes out with these bullshit articles every week

last week it was "thousands of bitcoin companies will get SEC letters"

whoever these people are they need to get punched in the face (no i don't care about your dumb libertarian no violence motto)

No, lucif said only a rise above 500 would invalidate the current count that leads to the ~200 low.

Yes, but you ripped that quote out of its context. Read the few pages before your quote and enlightenment will shine upon thee.

Market changes quick. Way to 500 will mean reversal. My estimated odds are about 40%. It should realize if 420 lower high will be broken to upside.

Most preferable count for me now I posted above. 60%.

master, you are an oracle. i have been following your posts for a long time.  but i dont always understand what you say (combination of me not being TA expert, english not being your first language).  can somebody possibly translate this?

is he saying if we go to 500 we would immediately see a reversal in price?  if 420 is broken, then we see 500?  odds are 40% of what happening?

Odds are 40% for 420 broken and then 500 reached.

60% for incomplete impulse down from 680 will continue after triangle (triangle not formed well yet)

Nice visual summary, thanks. I have a preference for what I'd like to see, but I appreciate your analysis, as always. One thing : I like the current volume. It's, imo, the strongest argument in favor of upwards breakout.

Maybe. But that's like saying 'willy drove price to ~1200'. Might be true, but price still got there (briefly Tongue).
