Hi all,
I have been trying BB with the latest version on win10 x64, no major problems observed. But BB lines (blue and red lines) disappears from the screen after a certain time. I do not know how much time elapses . Usually I left working at night and see them disappeared in the morning. Anyone else similar thing ?

Click on the time frame you have used to calibrate the BB bot. The lines will show. e.g. 30 min. 6hr etc.

Thanks for the hint. It was 6 hours, but because of I checked it 8 hours later cannot see past graph.

Dear Leonardo team, I'm optimistic about the current update, though having difficulties here, but all for the best. Keep up!

I have been too until this crap starts happening.  Margin support just got an email about this and I am losing my patience with this program. It's getting ridiculous..
https://imgur.com/a/5YLRy

How the hell am I supposed to run this when I'm not around when this shit happens? Like turned this on last night before bed and never got no where with it. Bullshit.

Oh and before you ask yes i'm running the newest update 3.7.5

Been having troubles with this program for weeks and expected more from these updates. Now i'm just pissed off with it and soon going to give up on this team.

That could very well be an api issue with Bittrex.  I've heard of a lot of issues with Bittrexs' api from other customers.  I was planning on switching to that exchange, but their api seems to be inconsistent.  I don't have any bot issues on Poloniex, and I have updated to 3.7.5 as well.

How can you get your copy?
Just go to the website and download a free demo
version of leonArdo that lets you try out all its features before you buy!

Who are we?

leonArdo was developed by three computer science graduates with a
passion for all things bitcoin! We have a combined 20 years of software
development experience and between us hold a PhD and two Masters
degrees. After developing our own bot and seeing how well it performed,
the idea to create a product for the crypto market hit us. We realized
that there was no existing software available that we would want to
use ourselves – so we created leonArdo!

What exactly is leonArdo?

leonArdo has been designed as a “visual” trading front-end
for different markets. However, rather than simply mimic market
websites, leonArdo provides a host of additional features that
significantly improve your trading experience.  leonArdo currently
supports Poloniex, Bittrex, Bitstamp, Bitfinex, OKCoin, OKCoin CNY
and Huobi, but new market plugins are in the pipeline.

leonArdo has been developed from the ground up as an object
oriented C++ application. Using the features of C++ and Qt
allows us to provide a product that is super responsive and
completely intuitive to use.

In future releases, we plan to also provide an API that will allow other
programmers to implement custom trading strategies, which they
can sell independently of us. These strategies will be able to seamlessly
interact with leonArdo’s graphical user interface (i.e., react to mouse
interaction and augment graphs) in order to maintain a consistent
user experience.

Review

Automated trading strategies (bots)

mArgin maker

The mArgin maker strategy comes bundled with leonArdo. Simply
click and drag in the graph to set the parameters you want and then
set it to work! It adapts to the changing course of the market.

Ping pong

The ping pong strategy also comes bundled with leonArdo. This
allows you to set a rigid buy and sell price and then leave the rest to
leonArdo. You will immediately see in the graph the amount you will earn
minus the exchange fees

Bollinger Band Bot

The Bollinger Band strategy also comes bundled with leonArdo. Using
in chart beautifully rendered parameters you can tune the bot to your desired
performance. Set stop loss to protect your assets.

The only way I would switch some money over to a new marketplace is if leonardo team gives me the extra api for free. I am not giving up my Bittrex because of their shitty api. May switch margin programs. But not switching marketplaces unless drastically needs too.

The thing is, if the problem is the usual slowness of Bittrex' API (which seems to be, from what you described), the fault is not within leonArdo, it's Bittrex (their infrastructure is probably not catching up with the huge increase in customers). About 1.5 months ago, I was also using Bittrex, but given its API slowness, I decided to switch to another exchange (and PAYED for the new license, which is more than fair, since that requires a whole new implementation, testing, support etc.). The difference was night and day, which means it was really the exchange. Before purchasing the new license and switching, I did a lot of research, and specially, tried the demo for the exchange in question.

Now, of course each exchange has its pros and cons: Bittrex may be slower, but they have more coins, and for some the fact that they are US-based may seem safer (although if you research, every exchange out there has complaints, suspicions of fraud etc.). For me, though, during high loads it was impossible to trade with them, so I had to switch for something faster. Up to you to research, and weight the pros and cons.

There seems to be some temp. issues with Bittrex. We are trying to catch as much of the API anomalies as possible, but as they are a moving target it is often not foreseeable.

Logs and screenshots to support@marginsoftware.de are very much appreciated.

As we already tried to explain. These APIs are just not always working as described. We are also not happy about that.
We have to deal with it with additional checks and workarounds as they emerge.

Yes, Bittrex has been pretty rough going. I am sure they are taking on huge numbers of n00bs, do you see how ordinary shitcoin are bid into orbit day after day?

Anyways needed to patch the server but their API got things so back up leo puked after 16.5 days of it, so I got everything updated and ready for the next cycle.

Make sure you have "Go for it!" unchecked.

Have a great weekend!

I never had this issue with bittrex api before though, it's all I use on leo.

As I am agreeing with you 100% and as well to the leonardo team, this must be a bittrex api issue then. But bittrex has the coins I seek to buy. Not about to go to poloniex because of this issue.

And thanks Leonardo team for expressing your frustrations as well and clearing this up for me. It's unbelievably frustrating as I enjoy bittrex's wide range of coins to buy. Hopefully binance support soon Wink will help my personal endevour here as I really really like your team and your program. I am just frustrated when I can't leave it alone for a few hours by itself without issues. I will have to send a long my thoughts to bittrex about their api. Maybe they can shed some light if they are doing any fixes or updates to fix api issues in the future on their end.

Thanks to all.

So I bought this a little before 2018. Made the purchase fee back within the month.

I've profited a little.

But for me, my problem is. I don't know anything about margin trading.

I mean, I get it.. But if you asked me how to get my margins to stay with the movement. Or, how to set them for certain patterns. I could not help Ping pong is okay for me. I get when to use that a little. But Bollingerband, to me is broken. It ignored a buying threshold. I don't know how to set this one up either obviously. But I learned with my boo-boos. And am basically where I started.

For me this has paid me back. The little explanations that appear when your mouse hovers can only show so much. so I can't read it to figure out how to use it. Aside from not being able to understand or use really any of the functions. Its okay. I use to be able to leave it on at night. But again, its a hit or miss. So It seriously depends.

Anyone got some cliff notes on how to use those features it would be great.

Ok guys im gonna help the community out ! I've been testing the bot with low ammounts at the beggining with only 20$.

Last night i left the bot to play with more money !

Here are my config (Digibyte Coin) this is the config that i used for this coin, since the market is very very very volatile with BTC bullish signals.

BITTREX

Bolliger Bands Strategy !
The Smoothing interval (candle units): 6

Sell Band: 2
Sell Signal: -25.2

Buy Band: 1
Buy Signal: 7.6

* Watching the Bot, but it triggered signals by itself

Im my opinion, in order to be more succesfull, please try to enter on Normal or Oversold (higher profit) coins, and watch the volume on them. Make sure there is a lot of people buying and selling the coin.

The configuration i used could or could not work for every coin, i think it will depend on the stability of the coin, a very few are stable, but BTC makes them drop a lot ! DGB was a very strong coin even with BTC run, it was still on the move.

Here are the images ! (Photoshop to glue the images)

To be clear, i installed 3.7.5 version last night and with this one the other versions i haven't got a single windows error. Don't know why other users have them. Currently Waiting for the Binance Exchange on LeonArdo

Please play SAFE !

Any Tips are welcome guys, thank you !
