The main concern raised here today is the issue of compensation for delayed shipping. I take it you will pass this along to Sam and we can expect an update tomorrow, 14th October, agreeing to compensate 1.5BTC per day late (recalculated at next difficulty rise)? They will have already compensated you by delivering over TWICE the hashrate you paid for. Remember that it is much easier to BUY a magic money making machine than it is building one from scratch in 4 months and anybody pre-ordering ASIC miners should know there will be risks. There's no such thing as a guaranteed ROI and if you can't handle that then you should think about retiring from Bitcoin mining before you get an ulcer. Right now Bitcoin mining is like a horse race and all we can do is try to figure out which horse to bet on. Rest easy knowing that your horse is still doing pretty damn good so kick back and just let them finish the race. They are running as fast as they can. You failed all your math tests, didn't you?

I hope KNCminer is going to make something like the BFL Monarch. I would be the first to order it.

Would you care to explain how you came up with this calculation? Jupiter 400=>500. They said 550+ but only few miners actually can. All orders are supposed to be shipped in September. KnC didn't make it and promised to ship all order before 15th October. Even this goal is out of reach. How many did you order? stop talking shit you dont have a clue about, noob.

Another person with a weak grasp of facts, figures and that fact based thing known as "science". i have ordered 350Gh/s Jupiter in June and i will receive 500+ unit, i think its good compensation for later delivery

Have you disclosed if you're being paid to shill for KNC? For the life of me I can't see how you're not given all your posting and your involvement in assembly and packaging,

Sunday, September 22
and ends on;
Friday, December 20
Cypherdoc my stance always has been that I would like to work for them if they can really live upto their claims. They have and they asked me to come to Stockholm the weekend prior to the ASICs being received by hand courier to watch a very tense and stressful engineering feat and document it to the community, placing their necks firmly on the chopping board for all to see, warts and all, and let me document it. I haven't signed any contract yet, I haven't been paid yet, I haven't even received my own order yet. They have never lied about performance specs or their intention to deliver on time. People who live in glass houses, shouldn't throw stones...

How do you feel about them now refusing refunds, given how much emphasis you placed on the ability to order by CC, and the extra security that gave customers?

The cessation of refunding happened the very weekend as the ASICs were delivered as the delivery file was sent to the UPS server and the manufacturing facility. How would you feel about processing a refund to someone that also receives the product due to the fact you are no longer control the delivery? Prior to that date as many have testified a refund was never denied. It just now becomes a logistical nightmare as the manufacturing facility and UPS process and handle both the assembly and delivery. There has to be the exact number of Mercurys/Saturns and Jupiters manufactured and sent out in the precise order of which they were fully paid for.

Now that batch 1 had been sold out that is no longer the case. I sense all sorts of obfuscation in your answer in the form of "yet". Let me try to be more specific. Have they "implied" that you will be paid or compensated in the form of cash, btc, chips, equipment, employment, special favors or anything of a quid pro quo nature for all that you've done, which is substantial and easily beyond the call of duty as an ordinary customer? I take it they paid your way to Sweden and are paying all your expenses?

They have never lied about performance specs or their intention to deliver on time.
"All current paid orders will be shipped no later than October 15th."It's not an intention, it's a statement of fact. A contract, if you will. They did not say "We are hoping to ship all units by 15th October. But as a prototype/the first time we've done this, there is the possibility it could be another week or two after that". ^ THAT would be an intention. This "All current paid orders will be shipped no later than October 15th." statement/contract has probably driven most, if not all of their November orders. You can't use false claims to pump sales. I imagine that is a criminal offence. And I would say, as they know how many units they can produce per day, the fact that they are still sticking to 15th is in effect lying. They could easily have updated us on 7th/8th/9th/10/11th/12th with a revised schedule, based on knowing how many units they can produce per day. They are trying to hide, delay as long as possible the inevitable start of chargebacks, with their silence and head in the sand technique of crisis management. It's not professional. It's not accept to the businesses that are dealing with them (US, the people who should be treated like shareholders in KNC). Relay that to whomever is in charge. And don't forget the matter of compensation either. Would be professional to see an official update from KNC on this either today but not later than tomorrow, 14th October.

I take it they paid your way to Sweden and are paying all your expenses? Nope currently I have. I would then bill them at a future point in time. fine, answer the other larger part of the question. No I have not had any indication that I would be compensated for my time beyond that I now feel is unreasonable this side of September. That said my ability to keep this ship on course throughout such stormy weather and in light of the fact many based their purchases based on the factual evidence I shared and told them to verify with further due diligence of their own, I certainly feel my time is worth something, from those that purchased here as well as KnC themselves considering they now have an affiliate program I've still yet to participate in. I have a tip Jar in my sit below that had only 2BTC the other day from thanks from members on this forum after all this time, it's now 3 thanks to Bargraphics. Despite all the demands and abuse, I can honestly state greed outweighs generosity here, and I'm starting to get quite tired of this. This is my first real day alone to myself and I'm laying in bed in the hotel, exhausted, still on this damn thread. The throwing stones aspect was related to how late your company will be and how they went about coercing people into parting with funds for a product that cannot be delivered in that timeframe.
