Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I don't think it will be easy to insert it, as you need to heat all of those placeholders simultaneously.

Yes 5, but 6 are working too. I have under-performing boards, that I left in my other Jupiter:

Jupiter 1 - 3 under-performing boards = 320GH/s
Jupiter 2 - 5 good boards = 700GH/s

The only thing I did is just move the ribbon data cable over, so now I can't close the lid, because of the cable spanning between the boxes.

Should I dig into my 5 bitcoins that I earned and upgrade, or just hold on to them and wait a bit then become filthy rich?

3 BTC isn't economical for these, due to the rate of difficulty increase.

After 1 BTC is paid off, then your earnings will half...then half again...then again.  You're right.  It isn't very considerate for those that put the company on the map.

I appreciate the November tweaking for increased speed...but they still aren't worth $5K either.

Will a Saturn be able to upgrade-able to 6 modules if it has the slots for them on the main board?

Great, maybe I will get 2 November units instead of my lost day 2 unit. Seems only fair to me, since I lost more than 25 Btc in lost revenue. Btw, seems that I am the only one whose unit got snatched by someone from UPS... just my luck  Roll Eyes

Heatsink, no, it's readily available, and not worth the shipping cost to you to have it globally couriered from Stockholm to country X. It's a heavy thing to ship for something that's approx £30 online.

Cables, PCI-E extension leads, screws, and that blank aluminium pieces that affixes the heatsink to the board, ya.
