I was asking just for fair review that is all The rest of the story is in my signature Dear Bick ...... I guess the question is how is the review NOT fair? I posted up pics. And as noted in the title it is WIP (Work IN Progress). I got plenty more coming and I am going to be editing alot of what I have done to comment on my experiences with setting it up. This will accurately reflect the other experiences people are having. I know english is not your first language but take the time to read it carefully and you will see that I have been trying to keep the drama out of the review. My goal is to do an unbiased review as much as possible. As far as the physical build with the units I got they are well built. If you are expecting me to say they suck ass I am no going to lie about that. The physical build is excellent. Once I start the performance, power, hashing, temps, that might change there. Or it might work as advertised. I will post my findings once I have them. My reserved posts will cover all that. If you still want to troll it out and rub it in, I will state it here. I paid 6K for this months ago and got what is a 1200 dollar machine now. Does it suck? Hell yes it sucks. BUT as I said I am making the best of a shitty situation and it just shows your character that you feel the need to rub in other peoples bad situation into their face. I get if you are going at AMT, but you are now attacking the customers not just me with those comments. Because pointing out anything here also reflects them as well as we all made that same unfortunate choice to go with AMT on this. As I said and last time I am saying this. The review is on the merits of the hardware and its performance ONLY I covered the unpacking experience as well so people know what to expect. I got lucky and got one well packed unit and a second box full of metal plates cardboard. If its well built and it performs as advertised they will get credit for it. Of course I referenced the other threads so people can clearly see how they have operated and let those comments stand on their own. I got two miners to compare performance stats from. So it will be an apples to apples comparison to see how consistent it is. It will be a few days before I get it all up. But I am working on it. Fair review. Point still is what does Loshia, a paid member of the Technobit entourage, have to gain doing this given Technobit was in bed with AMT during this fiasco. I suggest people steer clear of operations associated with AMT and Technobit neither operation can be trusted if you are following the Minion chip build thread you know what I mean. You would I think agree opieum2 no one in their right minds should buy from AMT. However valuable this review is to the small community of current AMT customers who actually received their broken assed units, you should at every opportunity warn people off buy anything from AMT. This review is more than enough to do that I think given that the units you have reviewed were rejected by another customer and that your units were not even shipped. More than enough evidence to steer clear and never BUY from AMT again. Further you clearly indicate very late delivery, over priced products that will never ever ROI. So pretty much open and shut do not buy AMT ever. [GUIDE] Bicknellski's Biased & Opinionated Miner Sellers Trustworthiness Guide

I ordered 2 September Batch 1s for about $10,000 total. But I'm getting confused with batch 2 being 4.5TH when batch one was advertised as 6.0
I've emailed Spondoolies but like others I've not had any reply yet. Anyone know what's going on? Are the batch ones really 4.5TH and not 6TH as advertised before? What happened to the product page of the sold out batch 1 units?
And if they're not going to provide what was promised, how do I proceed to get a refund?
The current delivery: SP30 (main thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=521520.6180) is at 4.5TH. They have opened orders for the next revision: SP31 (october batch) at 5.5TH. I know what they say on the site now, but before they had the SP30s at 6TH which is what I paid for at about $5,000 each. I'm wondering if they still plan on delivering on that and why I've not been contacted about the progress or why they took the Batch 1 down for September. They are delivering compensation in lieu of not hitting the numbers. Contact sales@spondoolies-tech.com and ask them about it. I ordered for August GB still waiting for compensation notice and delivery. I estimated my deliver dates to fall between 20th ~ 25th of August. If you get no response in 48 hours send them another email as they are swamped with emails. http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/blogs/news/14979953-introducing-the-sp30For customers receiving units before October, we will adjust the price of your machines consistent with the 4.5TH/s +- 5% hash rate.

I am curios if you will post pool graphs of your miners in part two and power usage on/in/at the wall And they are of course well build for stuff made in china there is some dust here and there but having in mind 6 mounts delay and price paid you gona live true it I am sure By the way how much did you paid for this? I just forgot....oh yes when your payment was accepted ? Look from the bright sight winter is coming so it may be double purpose equipment And do not forget to become a regular amt customer from no on No need to troll and be a dick. We all know the story of AMT I am not the only one in this boat. I am just trying to make the best of a shitty situation. But hey you clearly get your jollies by rubbing it in when people are in a bad situation. Not the first time you have done that either. Or me calling you out on it. It is what it is. Wondering how much Marto74 "helped out" with AMT? And to what degree Loshia is part of the mess as well that is AMT given he is the lapdog of Marto74. Surprising Phin hasn't turned his hate filled racist bile in Marto and Loshia's direction then you might actually see where all this leads given the "support" AMT was given by Technobit.

Maybe you should concentrate on wasp rather than proving than no one will ever be happy with any answer anyone comes up with, even one as basic as good or bad.
A little competition never hurt anyone. I am not in competition with his version. I am posting this as a guide to people who may not want to spend an inordinate time reading all the reasons why he arrived at a score and then ignore the consumers who have complained about company X or Y. Let me make it brutally clear that this is a biased guide that is CONSUMER CENTRIC not MANUFACTURER CENTRIC unlike his guide. Again it is always on the consumer to make the choice. I hope what I provide is the starting point for people to make a better informed decision. I don't know anyone with any time spent in these forums that is going to complain much about this "system" because I am willing to actually listen to people if they have concerns about my ratings and change them. Unlike those that think they have a system without bias or a personal skew. Don't take my word for it. Just go read his thread... plenty of justifiable complaints there. snip Your Biostar scam didn't work why are you back on this account? Why don't you fuck off you useless bag of shit. Ignoring yet another multi of some dipshit that doesn't like being added to the Thumbs Down. Guesses who this biostar really is? Loshia or some sort AMT link I guess or Technobit. Either or steer clear of anyone on the Thumbs Down and keep the to Thumbs Up and you should avoid most problems that have come up in the last few years of miner sales.

Regarding the various claims done by GB customers:
- We're shipping according to queue. - We'll meet the August shipping timeframe. - We'll compensate for the missing GHs
I understand your anxiety due to the raising difficulty. BitFury doesn't open a new 20MW DC every month. Both BitFury and Bitmaintech are at extremely low margins with their current tech.
We got very few requests to switch orders owners (and the compensation) and we'll honour them.
Guy
Waiting patiently for delivery. Assumed some date between the 22nd-25th August would be my date given the numbers and suggestions as posted in the GB originally by RoadStress. August was promised but nothing more concrete than that. Although I wish there were better dates given as we know that SPTech is quite good at timetables and production scheduling we should expect something more precise for customers in future n'est pas?

I thought Spondoolies was supposed to be shipping some SP30s today? Did that also go bust? Isn't the GroupBuy supposed to be shipping at the 'end' of this week? That means tomorrow Friday - which is a holy day in Israel and nothing can ship then.
It seems like Israel has 364 days of holidays. I wish ) Indonesia has a few more than Israel I think. 5 official religions 5 cross over holidays. Love that calendar except usually based on the LUNAR calendar. Didn't you just have a vacation Zvisha... get back to work! LOL.

Why are AsicMiner and AsicMiner Tube separately listed companies? Surely, the former is the company and the latter is just the latest of their numerous products? you didnt list any of the other company's products separately so i believe this is a confusing entry.
I read it as two ventures as Friedcat / Asicminer is not the one doing the shipping / fabrication as noted below: Contacts Bitcointalk ID: phasebird Email: sale@bitquan.comCustomer service: help@bitquan.comWebsite: www.iasicminer.comCustomer service QQ IM ID: 1327503207 Have revised the Thumbs Up section to reflect that and made a note to review the 'legal' situation to find out what is really the case. Are The ASICMINER Project and IASICMINER one and the same entity? Uncertain. I will assume like putting reputable group buy sellers on the Thumbs Up that IASICMINER is in fact worthy of trust, given FriedCat has vouched for this company. Although I don't see evidence they are the same entity only that FC posted up the notice.

S3+ ROI: 180 days
SP31 ROI: 360 days If the difficulty will be just a bit better than in your projections then the SP31 is clearly a winner. I can't help noticing that after the so praised ROI the S3 is doing close to nothing, while the SP31 is still doing something. Also I can lower the power efficiency down to 0.58W/GH and doing that will help me earn more money after difficulty reaches 70 billion so getting ROI will be faster than in your projection. Care to share your projections which make the SP31 a winner? I can't find any scenario where that turns out to be the case. If you buy 5.5TH worth of S3's you will mine ~$1200 worth of bitcoins before SP31's even begin shipping. 5.5TH worth of S3's would use about 4200W or 1200W more than an SP31. At $0.1/kwh it would take 416 days of mining before the SP31 becomes a better deal. As for the S3's making close to nothing after ROI, check again. (Changed it to 5.5TH worth of S3's) S3+SP31Are any miners a "winner" if ROI is the only focus? Do these posts not belong in Mining Speculation? More info on shipping... compensation... and October deliver please less on speculation of earnings. We get it. We got it the first time. The second time... and when the price of BTC falls we get to hear it again.

The RoadStress difficulty predictions are a big wiffer again.
I was always confused why everyone thought this SP30 was going to be profitable. If you looked at the numbers the difficulty increases would have had to be consistently in the single digits. I was called a troll for even point that out though and shouted out of the thread. Have we learned our lessons about pre-orders yet? I know I have. Break even at best when price was over 600$. Then again I wasn't buying mine only for ROI and BTC mining which is a fairly narrow scope. Hopefully the BTC gods will be nice and there will be a bump in BTC value to help get your FIAT back. We are all punters. It was a risk to buy BTC at 20$ 100$ and 200$. It was a risk to buy SP30s so far in advance but I knew that. I guess the BTC value will go back up at some point before the end of the year. I am not going to lose my shirt never bought in that heavily... it has been very interesting starting with a minimal investment to get to this point. Many more ups and downs coming a $900 BTC would be nice though for November.

The actual number of paid GB machines were under 200. They won't ship last. We'll compensate for the missing hash-rate, as explained.
Edit: We're honoring the 250 machines price point although less than 200 were actually paid.
Thanks. Most generous.

Lol KnC doesn´t even provide a reference design for those chips.
I wonder who will buy them and spend money on building a PCB and drivers, to get a 1.2W/GH miner. (Price was quoted for Neptunes including PSU.)
Better just buy AM BE200 chips, reference design is free, power consumption is lower.
Why not some October Rockerbox chips? Or wait for the Pickaxe? Pretty cheap those KNC chips might be a few people willing to push boards out the door considering the price is very low. Again gotta board ready to drop them in? Does your project have one? Nope. You'd have to have a good reason to work with that chip given the issues KNC had with it. Edit: One more Koont to ignore.

That table is rifled with inaccuracies if not outright lies.
All my sp30s do 0.66W/GH
But please, go ahead, buy KNC hardware.
At ~2$/GH, I am sure you will ROI fast.
Even the power consumption for the BF3500 is completely wrong, Bitfury states 0.785W/GH for that piece of hardware.
Either the guys at KnC had their intern plot that table, or they lack basic understanding of numbers.
Cripes $2 a gh/s? Sheesh seems pretty steep. <sarcasm> Then again? http://www.bcoinnews.com/knc-miner-sells-28nm-chips-loss/Got any boards kicking around to drop em in? BTC : $465.03↑

Power supply okay?
Have you tried the hardreset?
It is in the Data center. Cant try it till morning EST. It looks like the i2c bus is not working properly. It can be fixed by a power cycle usually. Please try a full power cycle - if it`s not helping open an ssh tunnel for us so that we can look. It is not possible to physically unplug and plug the miner in before the morning EST. But I can PM you the SSH credentials, if you would be so kind and try to help me EDIT: PM sent I will wait for you to do power cycle before investigation. @Zvisha: Thanks, will let you know. @Bicknellski: Do you read before you post, or just having fun? Fun. I.T. Crowd. Just thought of the show when you and Zvisha were going back and forth... Classic. Wasn't serious at all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rksCTVFtjM4
