Not sure if those Imperial Monarch units will even make it to market if these claims bare fruit BFL is in serious trouble. You are backing a company that defrauds people and your actions are ethically challenged. You admit to doing this in the BFL forums simply to win hardware. There is no argument you can make that absolves you of accepting a bribe. Bribery the act of giving money or a gift which alters the your behaviour. You never posted a SINGLE time about anyone of the 6 accounts you are posting on until you stipulated you wanted to "win" the Monarch and then participated. Your behaviour was changed by the contest. You posted only after you learned of the contest. You are done. Bribed. End of discussion.

What is really morally reprehensible is you are promoting a company that is claimed to do the following and there will definitely be a paper trail for this trust me. There are hundreds of people who were and are being injured by BFL and you are still supporting their efforts here. Why? Because you are being bribed to do so. Cheaply bribed with only the promise of a miner that is currently 14 months in development and for all accounts and purposes VAPORWARE. You have sold your integrity for a promise on nothing but air. Deceived so easily? Wow you might want to rethink your position you obviously are not unintelligent so that leaves morally and ethically impaired. Have a look at the people your positive trust are alleged to do.

I am sure more people will be joining in on this class action suit.

What will be interesting is if they can prove these claims which shouldn't be too hard given there are people who can probably testify to this practice:

Code:
51. Nearly seven months after receiving payment, on November 1, 2013,
Defendant shipped mining equipment to Plaintiff Dylan Symington.

52. Plaintiff Dylan Symington never gave Defendant permission to use the
equipment he ordered to mine bitcoins for itself or for anyone else.

53. Between the time Plaintiff Dylan Symington pre-paid for his order of
mining equipment from Defendant in April of 2013 and the time he received mining
equipment from Defendant in November of 2013, numerous bitcoins had been mined by
others, and the difficulty of mining new bitcoins had substantially increased over such
time.
2022  Other / Meta / Re: BFL bringing down the trust rating? on: April 09, 2014, 12:59:55 AM
Trust systems that work well like a judicial system will catch up to BFL long before the forum does much of anything.

It is clear there is spam. We know who is spamming. Nothing is done. This forum continues to ignore and offend the many people who have been defrauded by BFL with inaction. Even spamming the trust system as clearly evidences so far garners no action. What will happen is people will leave this forum because rules currently in place are not applied to cases like these. Doing nothing at this point given evidence is tacit acceptance of the spam going on.

Here is where BFL will finally meet some justice.

65. Defendant violated K.S.A. § 50-626 by engaging in deceptive acts and practices in connection with a consumer transaction, including:

(a) knowingly or with reason to know, representing the status of

in production, available for shipping soon, and/or that shipping has
already begun when, in reality, the status of Defendant BFL’s
mining equipment inventory was not available, not in production,
not available for shipping soon, and/or not already shipping;

(b) willfully using an exaggeration, falsehood, innuendo, or ambiguity
as to a material fact, specifically regarding when shipment of
mining equipment would occur and/or that mining equipment
most likely would be shipped within two months or sooner;

(c) willfully failing to state a material fact, specifically that shipment of
mining equipment would likely not occur for over six months,
would never occur, and/or that Defendant BFL intended to keep
and use the mining equipment itself;

(d) offering mining equipment without the intent to sell or ship the
mining equipment; and

(e) offering mining equipment without the intent to supply the

Class action lawsuit underway by a law firm so tenacious that in my opinion there will be nothing left after this is over.

JOSH update your resume'

BCP needs a new job!!

My favourite part of the document is the claim that monies from pre-orders were used to buy Sonny his house, car and "loans" to shareholders. That smells familiar doesn't it?

The lead EE we got does 3 michelin stars level work. We are always looking for a few good sous chefs so if you know anyone keen on helping out drop me an email. I am the Garçon de cuisine in this operation. BTC on any board these days is less than profitable... hopefully we will see the BTC rise again.

Hey Bick, I am sending you an email address of someone who might be able to join the EE team.

Appreciated.

Trust spam isn't allowed. If I see anyone posting dozens of fake trust ratings (from one account or many alt accounts), I will delete all of their ratings.

I think we are nearly at that point given the types of comments given. It is pretty easy to determine faux ratings both positive and negative.

2028  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The Wasp Project Collective Information thread. on: April 08, 2014, 02:15:29 AM
Here is how we hope it will work.

1. WPC designs and then releases that tested and prototyped miner design with firmware ready to go.
2. You have to get the chips.
3. You have to fab the miners.
4. We then receive a license fee on the designs through our licensing site.
5. We support those fabs that need our help.

The obvious tricky part is getting chips from the chip makers or resellers. Others beside the WPC will be selling either DIY kits or finished miners, some may even be WPC members but acting outside the WPC. If you are interested in working closely with us on this then you can drop Beastlymac a PM and he will keep you updated as we have designs ready.

-----

Internally our WPC members have purchased shares in the development of the Wasp and will recoup their investment with licensing and some mining of the prototypes we build. We have purchased sample chips like the A1 and have received samples of the BF2, AM BE200 and one other undisclosed ASIC and we are currently prototyping. We are currently working on ALL of these at the same time with our standard design. We will place our prototypes in facilities to bolster our WPC Mining Pool as well as develop a number of different variants for testing purposes. The one I am keen on seeing is the Wasp / Hornet variant that can be put into 2 phase cooling rig this summer in Hong Kong in a new prototype cooling configuration. But as with any of the current designs we have time constraints, we have a small team, so we have to prioritize which chips and design goes first. We also have to contend with limited investment as chips are rarely sold cheap enough or in sufficient quantity to make designs viable especially given the price of BTC currently. We are under no illusion of being tycoons given the large number of heavily funded and well established fabricators that exist currently. We are looking a providing designs for others so they can make the choice to either build at close to cost or look for other options.

We are assuming that they are AM BE200 samples, since they are in a 65 pad package (QFN64).

Specs are nice - 12GH at 4+ Watts

We sure could use another engineer!

Dang!

Anyone interested in working with our team please contact me via pm or email.

12gh at 4w tested?

Give us the final specs big cat!

Just the "specs" included nothing tested yet. We will let you know when we get that far. We will probably look at a quick turnaround USB module solution for testing called "Sting" maybe.

Ok so let's speculate a bit before sleeping.

1) they have money to waste
2) they want to waste money
3) they "pre-ordered" it 6 months ago and couldn't get a refund, didn't want to show up with angry customers around. Mediabistro proposed a voluntary refund and release agreement and they signed it. Mediabistro hasn't stop laughing since then.

Anyone interested in working with our team please contact me via pm or email as we have a number of different chips, some rare and not readily available to the marketplace, coupled with our basic 'portable' schematics that have been designed by our team they are perfect for the right EE to hit the ground running and get to prototype rather quickly. You would be invited to join the WPC and work on the range of Hornets and Wasps we have on the design board.

Meeting Minutes Overview:

Refined the prototype focus towards new asic chip Hornet then Wasp for April as there is excellent support from the 3rd party chip fabricator.
Discussion of internal production numbers for the WPC.
Discussion of financial outlay for chips and production.
Discussion of long term vision for next generation chips and pricing of gh/s projected.
Need for more EE's and members.
Discussion of IPO for funding future Wasp / Hornet production.

In general there was a lively set of discussions on a wide range of topics that focused on the future production of miners. We are currently focused on getting out to community the Hornet and Wasp and potentially a specialized card to test in 2 phase cooling with a HK company.

Amazing that you have no shame considering the hundreds of people scammed by BFL. Ethics is something that these paid off BFL stooges have no problem avoiding. Whether it trying to turn the tables on the people who fight the scams or bold face lie for a chance to win a piece of non-existent mining equipment with a chip some fully 14 months in development and still it is not ready.

You can't tell these guys the difference of giving a single negative rating ever versus the 6 daily and these shills will likely be doing for this for at least another 3 to 4 months. Let us count that 1 vs. 180 trust ratings submitted. Yes they are exactly the same are they not. Failed logic, failed company, failed contest, failed protest. You just look foolish with every post just like BFL. If it looks like, acts like and smells like spam it is probably is spam keep posting. I do enjoy watching the futility of your efforts.

2036  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN]ASICMiner Publicly Looking for Potential Customers/Partners for New Chips on: April 07, 2014, 12:23:03 PM
WPC notified we will be receiving samples of the chip. Thanks Friedcat we PM'd you our EE's address in Seattle.

Very good! Please let us know when you receive the chips and how their performance is!

18.

And most certainly 50% of them are multis created by BFL.
2038  Other / Meta / Re: Those who are Spamming the trust system. Action needs to be taken! on: April 07, 2014, 04:39:08 AM
If any actions will be taken against the accounts in the first message, than the same actions should be taken to these accounts. They do the same things.

I'm no spammer, friend. I resent the implication.

Here is the simple difference.

1 post on an ethical / trust concern vs what BFL shills and BFL multiple accounts repeating non-sense now 6 or more times. That is spam and that is not allowed there is no way anyone is violating someone else's trust day after day. BFL Scammed millions over a long period and that constituted individuals to post once against their trust not a day after day campaign. When people post a single negative comment regarding a single event or concern then that is fair use of the system. For example I posted that BFL are being sued in Rapturoso trust as he is helping promote BFL to further defraud the community. I don't need to do this 2x or 3x or 4x. I do this once per spammer. Looks like BFL is only making 1 new multiple account per day now.

New Spammer Today April 7th, 2014:

Rapturoso

Case Cause:28:1330 Breach of Contract or Case No. 2:13-cv-2617 JURY TRIAL REQUESTED

Remember there are hundreds of unfortunate BFL customers that got scammed like Martin Meissner who is still looking to recover $62,000 since 2013 or  William Lolli , who won a judgement of over $13,000 but still can't collect because BFL refuses to pay. How can people promote BFL knowing full well the types of criminals they are? Rapturoso is just one of the many people that do need look more closely at the significant NEGATIVE FINANCIAL impact they are having on this community. This is no joke! People have been hurt financially and these misguided individuals and multiple BFL accounts are continuing to act without any ethics whatsoever.

Give me all the negative trust you like BFL shills there are plenty of media reports out in full view that illustrate what many of have been saying for over a year. BFL is never going to shake their shady history but making contests like this.

Rush of Business for Butterfly Labs

Quote
After selling FPGA miners from September 2011 to 2012, BFL started taking ASIC orders in June 2012. Due to the fact that ASIC was the next-generation machine, everyone wanted it a piece of it. The company was able to sell at least 7,600 orders that were worth $10.2million.

However, a year later, many angry tweets and reddit threads formed because BFL was unable to deliver the machines. To this day, it is still a problem for many people.

Trust spam isn't allowed. If I see anyone posting dozens of fake trust ratings (from one account or many alt accounts), I will delete all of their ratings. But Inaba is hiring multiple people to create these ratings. It is impossible for me to determine whether these ratings are "real" or not, so I'm not going to delete them. (Obviously all negative ratings are very likely to be fake, but I'm not going to guess about this.)

I agree that it is a little annoying to see a wall of negative ratings, but this is in the "untrusted" section. The way things are set up currently, untrusted ratings can be easily spammed in a number of ways. That's why those ratings are hidden by default.

Thank you for the honesty and we appreciate you and your team are working on this. Clear the "untrusted" section can be abused and used as a means to spam messages of any kind. Good luck I wish you the best on that but you are leaving the door open here if you do nothing to the people causing this problem. In the interim you might want to ban people engaged in propagating this clearly Inaba/BFL/BFL_Josh are the responsible accounts. Time to give them a holiday from the boards. The list of people doing this will be updated so feel free to monitor these accounts for spamming.
