Been wondering for a while...

On the statistics page is the pool luck "1 day" measured as a 24 hour time period or does it reset at midnight? (I'm assuming 24 hour)

Im pretty sure it's a 24 hour time period, that updates after every new btc block is found...

Is it possible to get 24 hour earnings stats from this pool?  If not would it be possible to modify DaCoinMinster's to get them?

Pool luck (1 day, 7 days, 30 days):   58%, 79%, 96%

Ouch.  What's the worst the pool's ever had?

Year, this is unbearable. Bad luck all week. Thinking of switching to the Merged PPS pool. Higher fee, but guaranteed income.

Im pretty sure this is the worst (all three combined) luck ever (documented).

Hopefully when it finally lets up we get two weeks of 150%+ luck... Undecided

Same, throwing 1.4GHash at er'.  That 11 hour block made me die a little inside.

Is it planned for Slush to support Merged Mining (Bitcoind + Namecoin, like BTC Guild does) in the near future?

Slush already supports MM (BTC+NMC). It was among the first (if not actually THE first) large pools to implement the merged mining.

Yeah, he was the first large pool to support it...

Which raises the question, WTF are the folks still mining for DeepBit thinking?

Sorry, to interrupt. I've generated 6 blocks now in 7 months and received 213.5 BTC @ slush's pool and one block somewhere else with say 10 btc payout. Should I have gone solo? I really get the feeling I should have. The pool is fine, but still it's a bit frustrating.
I mined 7 block in the past 45 days, received about 200 btc, still think it's more than deepbit though.

I wonder why doesn't Tycho implement MM? Does he have something against NMC?

Well, for one it's most likely some work to do with possible risks of pool downtimes and people leaving. Two, where is the point in nmc other than the societal good it might one day bring? Forget nmc if you think you can really up your btc income by anything worth the trading effort recently. Prices are in the basement.

Afaik there was ~30% daily luck and ~80% monthly luck few months again. Luck in last few days is really strange, damn variance. However, long term luck (90 days and all time) is still 100%.
