Dr. PhoenixMiner,

Could you add the a little bit options to ur miner for Nvidia cards? Such as:
-fanmin
-fanmax
-tmax
-powlim
-cclock
-mclock

And one great option for AMD cards  -  enable compute mod by adding option -y into the bat? Not only typing key "y".

Claymore recently added these options. Next step is yours. I love ur miner for stability and hashrate. But I believe that these options can improve miner's positions.

DDU 1st is always better for a clean removal.

I you use custom bioses, don't forget to patch the 18.3.4 driver before the reboot.
Drivers 18.x.x don't need patch. AMD removed check mod bios. I'm use RX 580 8Gb and didn't patch drivers from 17.12.x when AMD was removed mod bios protection... All my 580 cards use modded bioses.

RX580 is not checked, but RX480 is, and needs the patch

We can guarantee that the executables are 100% clean. We even decided to avoid packing the executable to allow better inspection by the anti-virus programs. Still, there is always some chance that an over-aggressive anti-virus program will give you a false positive but you can safely ignore it. As an additional precaution you can check if the .zip archive you have downloaded has the right checksum (the checksums are listed in text file PhoenixMiner_2.1_checksums.txt, which is in the MEGA folder from the first post in this thread).

Hmm seems nice

Thank you all for the hint. I am on 580 so I won't patch. However, I noticed in the past when I clean install AMD drivers from Clean Windows, it installed much quicker (screen flick 4 times per GPU) than upgrade (it seems AMD is removing old driver on each GPU one-by-one in the background The screen flicking hundreds of times before completion and sometimes OS hang during upgrade).

Hello Developer,

Great miner I/we really appreciate the work you have put into it.  With that said, I have been using PM since 2.2 I think, although I do like the auto -dcri feature Claymore uses now, so I do cheat every now and then and sneak back to Claymore, it's like an old dirty whore, you know, anyways end up going back, well maybe not, anyways, I digress...

I would like to request an expansion of a current feature.  Your -coin feature is great but I only solo mine to geth and with that said I typically solo mine the lower difficulty coins I think might have a shot of increasing in price, someday.  With that said, you do include a few good coins in your -coin feature but if you could include ALL coins on the Minerpool.net splash screen, that would be great!

https://minerpool.net/

This would provide a much greater DAG coverage for that feature, I know its pretty miner (pun intended) request but maybe someday, it would be nice to have more coverage.  Thanks again!

To any Nvidia 1080 or 1080it owners check out OhgodETHlargement pill. its an app in background that supposedly can push you to around 54 mhs. I use amd so out of luck. Curious to see if it indeed affects PM hash rates. glta

When 3.0?

Version 2.9.e works super it is too early for phoenixminer version 3.0.
it is possible with phoenixminer dual mining ETH and another coin UBiQ simultaneously with cpu mining myriad yesscript..With every version with very small adjustments it certainly does not come up with a version that can do more than other miners like Claymore.
Phoenixsminer is still based on the Genoil miner, even Ethminer has changed many times and starts much faster.
Therefore, wait a bit longer but come with a version 3.0 with a big change.

Hi, can you update with an argument to make the fee act every 12 or 24hours?
You can enable the dev fee as soon as the miner starts for the equivalent time and then the miner run the specified hours without have to change DAG..
If you make it as argument, people can use it if want or not Smiley
The DAG switches of the devfee can be avoided if you mine one of the supported coins (see the documentation of the -coin option in the first post). We will add a lot more ethash based coins in the next release. If the coin you want to mine is not supported yet, you can use -coin to choose a coin with smaller DAG for devfee.

Hello team,
Fast questions:

Is there a reason for this option to always be "0" ??

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0

Are there any advantages if we set it to "1" instead?

Thank you for this excellent miner!
In most cases this doesn't have any effect as the miner sets it internally to the optimal value. So, you don't even have to specify it any more in the .bat file. There is no harm in specifying it though and there might be cases where it can help.

We are working on OC settings for Nvidia cards but they won't be ready for the next version. As for the -y option - it will probably be ready for the next version.

Hello Developer,

This would provide a much greater DAG coverage for that feature, I know its pretty miner (pun intended) request but maybe someday, it would be nice to have more coverage.  Thanks again!
The auto-tune functionality will be ready for PhoenixMiner 3.0, so we hope you'll have one less reason to ... umm, cheat Smiley As for the direct support for new ethash-based coins, yes, we will add support for pretty much everything from minerpool.net.

When 3.0 ?
Not too soon because we have some big changes for this one.

My first post so I may not be taking seriously but I installed the latest drivers on my 1070 rig and the hash rates dropped on all cards by ~10%

Anyone else had an issue, or even anyone with 1070's where its fine?

that's right with the new nvidia driver, the pool hashrate is much lower due to fewer shares.and phoenixminer crashes and starts again.what driver of nvidia works best with phoenix and the best shares. please report on the forum.

I see some use the pause at the end of their startup .bat file, what does that command do? And also is the setx commands needed?

It allows to view the command output of the startup/restart script. It is particularly handy when the script fails or PhoenixMiner startup fails for debugging purposes.

To any Nvidia 1080 or 1080it owners check out OhgodETHlargement pill. its an app in background that supposedly can push you to around 54 mhs. I use amd so out of luck. Curious to see if it indeed affects PM hash rates. glta

I see you are a noob!
