1141  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beastlymac - scammed me for 3.1 btc - gridseeds group buy on: August 14, 2014, 01:02:47 PM
From an outsider reading in.. it sounds like..

someones brother bought some mining equipment. It was paid for, but not delivered for 4 months. During that time a delivery and or refund was discussed.
Now 4 months on, the refund is off the table ??

Is that the issue pretty much ?

Missed the part where bbxx slanders Beastlymac. Beastlymac does everything in his power to reimburse the "brother".

At this point assholes going to be assholes even when the honest guy tries and tries to resolve the issue over and over again.

Don't do biz with these two jagoffs bbxx and his "brother" can't trust people that lie and won't even try to take a fair settlement when it is offered.
1142  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beastlymac - scammed me for 3.1 btc - gridseeds group buy on: August 14, 2014, 11:20:27 AM
@bbxx you made false claims that your brothers miners had not been submitted to the manufacturer this was proven to be false. You claimed that his order was sent for processing after he had asked for a refund this was also proven to be false.

helo

please state "lies posted by bbxx". i dont see any.

since you (Bicknellski) are not responding to my PM i have sent to you 11 days ago (?), im asking you for public answer to below message:

can you qoute my slanderous lie?

i posted facts that you were denying that curiousminer ordered anything.

where is my lie?

Ok.

Claiming that i don't have a private list.

Quote
but he behaved like little rat. he is now telling tales that devices were already ordered...
This was proved to be true. You claimed it wasn't. A lie.
Quote
"he lied that he has his miners sealed"

Sent via PM
Quote
lying that you have ordered goods

That was proven false

Sent via PM
Quote
i dont care you have sent order or not. (it was after he asked about refund). he has not ordered items,

That was again proven to be a lie fabricated to mislead people.
So those are the lies i was able to compile in 10 minutes.

They where made in an attempt to discredit my account and past business relations and are thus slanderous the spamming related to you posting them off topic in other threads (for example here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=707786.0) including one of my sales threads. That post has since been deleted.

If you persist in stalking my threads with disinformation and off topic posts this will only get worse.

I ignore and block unreasonable people who fail to act ethically. At this point both these jokers are continuing this stupid vendetta for now apparent reason.
1143  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beastlymac - scammed me for 3.1 btc - gridseeds group buy on: August 14, 2014, 09:05:01 AM
@bbxx

Your brother is getting his Bitcoins back when the auction is completed. They were put on auction because your brother didn't respond in the 5 days he was given to respond for another decision. I don't see the point of you continuing to try to denounce Beastlymac.

If you want to try to get rid of the negative trust, try negotiate with Beastlymac with a cool head.

I will be starting a campaign to get more people to come to this thread and review the lies posted by bbxx. I don't need people like this coming to stalk my threads and cause issues. If you want to start harassing me then I will be sure to make it known what sort of lies and disinformation you are trying to spread.

People coming here may want to use the trust rating system to stand up against bullies like bbxx.
1144  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED] Spondoolies-Tech SP30 pre-order - Specs: 0.69$/GH + 0.46W/GH on: August 14, 2014, 07:54:58 AM
Halfway through August! When will they start shipping this GB?  Undecided

Surely they must have some idea by now when they can start shipping it... It was in the first August batch after all...

Keep checking... this week or next I would think given the original plan and numbers for production indicated back in the thread.

I suspect my unit will be shipping after the 20th... sometime and I ordered a bit later than many of the other 250 units for this GB.

I asked RoadStress and SPTech to give a timeline nothing yet and I asked in thread and via email as well.

Have to agree they should have a target date on the orders but they were clear that mid August was the earliest we would get this GB units if I am not mistaken.

@Bitmadrid:
I have been trying to get a response from Spondoolies for almost 2 weeks now.  Have you had any trouble getting a response?  I am shopping for 3-6 machines and can't get a live person to even tell me to take a hike.  Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks,,
gpguy

Never had an issue like that.

Send another email and again if you don't hear back. Never heard of 2 week wait like that. Very odd.
1146  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED] Spondoolies-Tech SP30 pre-order - Specs: 0.69$/GH + 0.46W/GH on: August 12, 2014, 06:24:24 AM
I think its established that the next diff is 20% but the kicker is the one after that should be lower so i think we will still see the projected 10% per month diff increases.

Me i'm geting out of GPU mining an altcoins too many damn scams, I think there is still money to be made mining pure bitcoins and other SHA coins.  As diff goes up I am sure price will go up back to the 700s and 800s of last year around jan and feb.

Altcoins if you choose wisely will probably give you the best returns. BTC is going to require that you are building PH/s solutions if you can get a number of people together. Small mining at home is dead at this point even with a bump in BTC price the bigger players are swallowing up the field now.

KNC togheter with BFL? that's harsh  Tongue

At first I also thought that this is a tad extreme, but you really have to look how they continued to get worse and worse. They didn't meet their delivery promises, the miners seemed to be used. They tricked customers into new terms and also refused refunds. They used to be a very good manufacturer and a ray of light in this dark area, but it seems they've gone a long way since then!

It is amazing how fast you could become a hero to zero in bitcoin world.

All the way to the bank right? There have been millions "misappropriated" by many a hero now zero. And that is why you want to set the bar a bit higher to save people a buck in the long run. Just follow threads and read what is going on for those in the THUMBS DOWN section. Most of them continue to disappoint right up to today. You can see why people should avoid the thumbs down list when you continually see this lack of information. When people have more time to respond to this thread and ignore customers you have to consider why even bother ordering from companies like this when you have so many good options available.

Only 2 boards shipped till now? 4 Weeks after chip arrival now, at least?
Is there anyone that actually got his X1/X3 shipping fee and extra psu they paid for back from Minersource since you converted to chips?

I know your busy Marto.. But a daily update would not hurt. In fact it would help you. I for one could care less if you say we had a step back as we ran into... blah blah blah. Fact is I am of the few who paid in full no conversion chips, and would like to know the status.

My 12k venture hit 26k+ and I rely on you. The money I sent alone would pay 3 qualified workers for the next 3 weeks. That is just me...

Hy marto74,

i send you on 05.08. 2 broken mimers back. i send you a message to for my return delivery to you, for 2 broken miners.

The Tracking Code, Shows, that the miners wait till 12.08 in your local post office, why do you not pick them up?Huh?

I LOST MANY TIME OF MINING!

AND when it comes back, i lost the delivery costs to, and have only broken miners from you!

Check your messages!

So the dilemma compensation wise so far :

1) to order the current 4.5 TH sp 30s at a reduced rate in Sept for your compensation (15% off?)
2)receive cash or btc compensation for your current unit(s) since we paid 4500-5000 and current price is 3900 or so which averages to 15% off say $800
3)wait for the details on compensation for October batches (I would assume maybe 15% -20% off?)

its a tough call another 4.5TH Sept unit at around $3100 is a good deal, but a 5.5 TH unit at the same price even though its a month later is a better deal right ?

what do you all think.
It's only an ok deal if they meet their specs.

or not, if Bitfury will continue bringing 20-30PH to market every two months (the equivalent of 4000-5000 SP-30).
Where does Bitfury get their cheap electricity?  This only works if they are getting electricity at a rate less than the rest of us, where that rate is the same or greater percentage than the efficiency of SP30 v. Bitfury.  Can they really have such an advantage in free juice?

If the boxes and chips are cheap then the electricity can be a bit more expensive. The other thing is the BULK nature of this would mean very good savings. As pointed out... dirt cheap DC's thrown up fast. Race to the bottom hasn't stopped even though people are now playing with Petahash sized DC's. Who are buying these DCs? Are they betting on BTC going through the roof and using the farm as tax write off so even if it fails they are not too bothered?
1149  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: A1 28nm Asic miner price down on: August 11, 2014, 04:15:53 PM
Email sent. Curious to see if the price is worthwhile.

Let me know how it goes if you buy any.

Chinese mining farms are crazy! It's so incredible... Why is it always that "The Chinese" are doing these things that seem to get totally out of proportion? If it comes to Bitcoin mining it is clear that you need to keep your costs down and it's purely margin hunting. But, wow still...

Hey what about the BitFury one in Iceland... 20 Ph? Was it?

Those pictures of the Avalons just cast aside is really mind blowing. If only you had "free" electricity something green based... biodigestor or something right?

There are basically two scenarios I can think of why they would set them up in stages, test them on a couple of pools, take them down to test the next bulk and the switch them on bulk by bulk. However, none of these scenarios looks good for BitFury in the long term....

June 18 - June 29 was BitFury Georgian DC. 20MW deployment in 1.5 months. They've started in mid May.
What we see now is what George Kikvadze calls "Summer Surprise". It's their Icelandic DC.
I believe we can expect a continues cadence of 20 PH/s from BitFury every 2 months.

Consider putting both lists in the OP in alphabetical order, bud.

I'm fully aware that you may still have your differences with me, for whatever reasons, but still I offer up this kind suggestion. Even if you implement my suggestion, feel free to maintain the sentiment you may still have toward me. I am glad we haven't locked horns lately, hoping this post doesn't rekindle said locking.

Somebody quote me in case I'm on ignore, echoing the suggestion if you believe it has merit.

~Bruno Kucinskas

A - Z for the Thumbs Up sounds doable... for the Thumbs Down don't really care.

My issue with you Bruno were simple ones. You know what they are / were no need to go into those I suppose that is for another thread.

Welcome to the ignore list. What you don't get is I don't really have time to CARE about your guide. Go fix it or don't, again not my problem. Doesn't seem to be about whether or not this guide ratings are up to snuff it is about you arguing about your thread and the WPC. Not really on topic. Ignored. Feel free to talk to the wall I will be focused on people who want to engage in debate on the topics offered here it is not about your threads so you can go back there and deal with your hurt feelings there. Note I haven't and won't change your trust rating it was never a ploy given it wasn't me that suggested your name to come to the WPC. Your rating is still valid after what BFL did as it was before what BFL did and that is the actual reason it was changed to the current rating nothing to do with the WPC sorry buddy way off the mark again.
1154  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [GUIDE] Bicknellski's Bias & Opinionated Miner Sellers Trustworthiness Guide on: August 11, 2014, 02:53:15 PM
You seem to be the one with problem not me.

Ignore.

No point to listening to someone that lost the plot.

1156  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [GUIDE] Bicknellski's Bias & Opinionated Miner Sellers Trustworthiness Guide on: August 11, 2014, 02:41:22 PM
Do what you like if you have problem with my ratings feel free to comment. All I see here is someone that can't accept constructive criticisms as evidenced in your thread by a significant number of people.

I am not concerned with your guide as much you seem to be concerned with mine. Feel free to ignore my biased one and work on your far superior less bias one. I won't be back commenting in yours trust me nothing seems to change even when people present you with evidence to the contrary.

We already heard your PLEA for me to go work on the WASP and again there are 54 others than can do more than they have already bar Dick I suppose so I am pretty comfortable posting my own guide and that has little or nothing to do with what is or isn't happening in the WPC. Just you go back to working on your threads you have more than enough to worry about than what I have as a hobby and it really is telling that you seem to want to make this about everything other than a simple guide for new miners. Sad. Sad . Haters gonna hate and it is clear you have a problem with being a hater right now.

I don't think so buddy. You got all that backwards. As for being or not being a member... if you paid your $100 you are a member. If you didn't sorry you are receiving emails. I am sure we can rectify that easily.

Hi Bicknellski,

you can add fibonnac.io to the list of unreputable manufacturers... It doesn't look like they will ever deliver, fortunately, I got a refund

Greetings,

deeneendo

Can I get the link so I can read up on it?

Is it a straight up scam or have they delivered anything before?

Those are scrypt miners... I am not well enough informed about those and this is a BTC guide. Sorry won't be adding them or Alpha etc.

Maybe you should concentrate on wasp rather than proving than no one will ever be happy with any answer anyone comes up with, even one as basic as good or bad.
A little competition never hurt anyone.

I am not in competition with his version.

I am posting this as a guide to people who may not want to spend an inordinate time reading all the reasons why he arrived at a score and then ignore the consumers who have complained about company X or Y. Let me make it brutally clear that this is a biased guide that is CONSUMER CENTRIC not MANUFACTURER CENTRIC unlike his guide.

Again it is always on the consumer to make the choice. I hope what I provide is the starting point for people to make a better informed decision. I don't know anyone with any time spent in these forums that is going to complain much about this "system" because I am willing to actually listen to people if they have concerns about my ratings and change them. Unlike those that think they have a system without bias or a personal skew. Don't take my word for it. Just go read his thread... plenty of justifiable complaints there.
