What do you think?

It perfectly shows what happens when too much money is printed. It has to be said that these actions are mainly carried out by millenials on platforms like RobinHood who have little and no idea about the stock market. One can have sympathy for a group of small individual investors forcing large hedge funds into a short squeeze, the only problem is that this can quickly jump over to the general market. Because when hedge funds have to cover their short positions, they usually do so with value stocks that they then have to sell on a large scale. This is exactly what was hinted at yesterday when Apple and Tesla fell, although the published business numbers were excellent.

He is 37 and turns 38 in half a year. I doubt that he will have much influence when it comes to the gameplay. He will be more like a psychological factor for the team. Having someone in team that is/was called hunter could give the team more more confidence, especially young and less experienced players.

Huntelaar had his first training yesterday and stopped after 15 minutes. That doesn't sound very promising to me.

But their twitter says nothing about it. Only that he was going to train individually. Let's hope he can play next match.

https://twitter.com/s04_en/status/1354385999770607616

Huntelaar is a very important player for Schalke. I know that he is going to retire this summer. But I hope he starts playing again soon and continues to make important contributions to the team before retiring. Schalke conceded too many goals so far and scored very few. I believe that he can help this problem to be solved despite his age. But after the summer, they need to make the necessary transfers for the weak points. It looks like they will be relegating but they can come back strongly if they do the right things.
1763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 26, 2021, 08:02:23 PM
For Chelsea, Tuchel is the best choice currently available. With a good squad and this meticulous working coach, Chelsea can win the league even this season. Also because Liverpool is weak and ManCity and ManUnited have had a good season so far but not a very convincing one. Tuchel definitely makes the league even more exciting.
1764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 26, 2021, 07:57:03 PM
Dortmund are going to play a home game against Augsburg this weekend. Dortmund are the 7th with 29 points and Augsburg are the 12th with 22 points. Dortmund haven't been winning for 3 matches (1D 2L). Augsburg managed to get a win (2-1 against U. Berlin home) after 3-lose streak. In the last 5 head-to-head games, Dortmund won 3 times and Augsburg won 2 times. I think it is time for Dortmund to get a win and I expect them to demolish Augsburg here.
Dortmund curent standing is very bad and i think they must imediatly recover and climb the standings at least to the top 4...augsburg match will be a good oppurtunity for them and i believe they will win the match

I hope so too, so that the league stays exciting. Dortmund only has one problem: the unresolved coach question. Edin Terzic is planned as an interim coach until the end of the season, but strategic and playful weaknesses are already evident, which have persisted since Lucien Favre's dismissal (and already before). I think Dortmund will have to sign a new coach before the end of the season, otherwise the season will go bad.
1765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion & Betting] - The 2020 UEFA European Football Championship on: January 25, 2021, 08:12:12 PM
Just heard on TV that this tournament will not be played in 12 different countries as initially planned ages ago. It's not yet decided how the new format looks, we are waiting for a statement from UEFA.

I think they will cut it down to 3 cities, where two groups will play all their games. In one of these cities the playoffs will take place as well. Or everything will be played at Baku right from the start Wink

I think the tournament will not take place at all. It is foreseeable that the new highly contagious virus mutations will spread quickly. Even in Japan, more and more votes are being voiced to cancel the Olympic Games. If there was a bet on whether the Euro Championship would take place, I would currently bet on no.
1766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 25, 2021, 07:41:10 PM
Giroud scored the first goal for Chelsea. Regardless of how the game will end today, I think the probability is high that Thomas Tuchel (former PSG coach) will be introduced as the new Chelsea coach in the next few days. Lampard does not yet have the format for such a big club.

I quote my post from 28th December 2020 where I assumed that Lampard will be fired and Thomas Tuchel will be the new Chelsea coach. Well, almost exactly one month later it seems I was absolutely right with my assumption (I should rename my user to tyz nostradamus  Grin).
1767  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptocurrencies Really Money? on: January 25, 2021, 07:34:41 PM
Yesterday, while surfing the social media that aggregate trends, Twitter, I ran into what was like a very exciting poll, the best I have seen this year.
The poll was created by International Monetary Fund (IMF) to monitor the two types of virtual currencies which are; the cryptocurrencies and the central bank digital currency.
The poll went thus;
1.   Are central banks digital currency really money? The poll result was Yes (33.8%) and no (66.2%)
2.   Are crypto currencies really money? The poll result was; Yes (79.9%) and no (20.1%)
What is your opinion about these polls?

Money is what you see yourself as money. Money is a general medium of exchange that was once introduced as an intermediary in order to be able to trade all goods with one another. Before, if I had cases for sale and I needed wood, then I had to look for someone who sold wood and needed or accepted cases. So you always had to have a one-on-one match, which generally inhibited the movement of goods. Money has removed this barrier. So money is everything that is generally accepted as a trade substitute. This can be paper money, gold, shells, stones or cryptocurrencies.
1768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think is the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin? on: January 25, 2021, 07:29:26 PM
Umm. Have you ever tried using it as a cash payment system to make a purchase?

Definitely one of the biggest drawbacks, the lack of scalability. But all PoW coins have the problem as soon as they have a critical number of users / transactions. This also applies to PoS, but there is more leeway here.

Hi, which wallet is suggested for holding KMD.

Many Wallets

Ledger Wallet / AtomicDex / Guarda Wallet / AtomicWallet / Coinomi Wallet / Zencore Wallet
I HODL my KMD coins in Binance. because no one knows when the price start dropping and I need an urgent sale to secure my portfolio value. it is not only safe but also gives profit sometimes for trading.

This is really a weird argument to keep your coins on a centralized exchange. You can usually send your coins confirmed to Binance within half an hour. There would have to be a monster drop, which you then have to notice in time, so that there is really an advantage in keeping the coins on the exchange.

Don't forget the most import converter you need when you start with Bitcoin. A Bitcoin units converter Cheesy One like this one https://bitcoindata.science/bitcoin-units-converter.html I still use from time to time. Getting familiar with the Bitcoin units and the abbreviation could be a hassle at the beginning.
1771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if "De-Fi" platforms become regulated in the future? on: January 24, 2021, 04:50:16 PM
Although there are some Decentralized projects in crypto space that aren't true decentralized, the team don't even know what they are doing calling their projects decentralized, maybe regulations can work on such projects, who knows?

Do you mean Ripple?  Wink

Of course there are projects that are not completely decentralized on purpose, but every decentralized project that does not reach a critical mass of miners or stake holders (depends on the consensus) is indirectly centralized to a few large players and accordingly such projects are also susceptible, although they have been developed in a decentralized manner.
1772  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to DYOR in investing on: January 24, 2021, 04:47:13 PM
You forgot a few essential things: the whitepaper, the source code and the new technical developments the project offers. The whitepaper and source code should be the main factors to check before you do an investment into crypto. If you not familiar with the technical background and if you can not read source code then look for competent opinions from people in the community who can.

Meinst du dieses Bee Network -> "Bee Network:Phone-based Digital Currency" ?

1774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 24, 2021, 03:47:02 PM
Surprisingly, Leverkusen lost to Wolfsburg 0-1 in their home game. They were really unlucky on some of their goal chances. Now, both teams have the same points in the league. Leverkusen are the 3rd and Wolfsburg are at the 4th place.

It's another perfect match day for Bayern. All direct competitors lose, Dortmund, Leverkusen and Leipzig. And Bayern is currently playing against the last placed and are now leading 2-0. I think the game ist over, nobody expected Schalke to win here anyway.
1775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2020/2021 on: January 22, 2021, 12:57:57 PM
Liverpool vs Burnley

Here are my opinions on how the game will play out  Grin

Liverpool 4-1 Burnley
Don't get your head so high Liverpool is in bad shape right now my bet is going for under 4.5 home team goal, it's an important match for the kloop side to keep the pressure on manutd on the other hand Burnley needs 3points to move away from the relegation zone.

How fast the tide has turned. A few weeks ago it looked like Liverpool would march through in the championship. And now they are six points behind first place Man United and only five points ahead of Chelsea who are in eighth place. Since the Mo Salah controversy, Liverpool has stopped performing.
1776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: January 22, 2021, 12:53:48 PM
BTC's value will stabilize over the long term, probably at the point when 1 Satoshi = $1.  Cheesy

Then Bitcoin would no longer be usable in its current form, as the fees could no longer be paid.

Does anyone else believe in a great future for NEM (XEM) project? What event/new can affect the attraction of new investors?

The NEM Software CTO posted an article on the plans to refresh NEM NIS1 last month. There are four things in the roadmap, see below official Twitter post and link below.

I don't see anything that NEM could do better after the introduction of Symbol. On the contrary, Symbol also has features that would have long been expected for NEM. As I said before, I believe NEM will suffer the same fate as NXT after ARDOR was introduced.
1777  Economy / Economics / Re: Vaccination Started in India | Impact over Indian Economy & World? on: January 22, 2021, 12:49:39 PM
Now that the vaccine is developed, the global economy will start to bounce back but vaccine is still many months away to some 3rd world countries.

Some scientists even say third world countries won't get enough vaccinations in the next two years. Even industrialized countries that have pre-ordered enough vaccine will not be able to vaccinate most of their populations until next fall. And one problem is still that there are many mutations and it is still not clear whether the vaccine is effective for all mutations.
1778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some DEX which may bring Airdrop like Uniswap and 1inch in future! on: January 21, 2021, 10:30:11 PM
People who register now for this purpose should know that, for example, the Uniswap Airdrop, which was worth $ 8000 each (6-7 ETH when you sold on Airdop day), was unannounced and that one had to have traded through Uniswap before. However, these conditions were not known beforehand and one could not prepare for them. The best thing is simply to be constantly active in the crypto-universe and then sooner or later you will receive valuable airdrops by yourself. Calculable airdrops aren't worth much these days.
1779  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy restart big Boom and prosperity Coming on: January 21, 2021, 10:12:08 PM
The global economy continues to deteriorate due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and unprecedented measures to combat it. Therefore, most likely, we can first survive the global economic crisis or simply a significant drop in economic growth in all states, and only after that prosperity is possible. Everything moves cyclically and in a spiral. The world economy also.
I wouldn't see it quite so negatively. Overall, the global pandemic cost significantly less economic output in 2020 than originally assumed and there are many signs - especially from China - that the recovery is coming faster than expected. Of course, the crisis may worsen further, but I think we passed the peak with the successful development of vaccine.
China's economic recovery is certainly a wonderful thing and a great sign, but let's not forget that the Chinese economy and national economies are different things, although they are interconnected due to the processes of globalization. China was much less affected by the pandemic, and in many countries, the service sector was severely affected due to knockdowns, which does not directly correlate with the success of the Chinese economy.

Agree with you, but if the Chinese economy recovers, it will also be good for many industrialized nations that export a lot to China. And if the industrialized nations are doing well, then mostly the emerging countries will quickly recover again. It all depends on how quickly the vaccinations happen and how quickly people can consume and travel more again.
1780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 21, 2021, 10:06:34 PM
It looks like Bayern and Leipzig will both win their games tonight. If these matches end like this, Bayern will maintain the 4 point difference with Leipzig. I can't wait to see the next Leipzig-Bayern game. If it goes like this, their next game will be very important on the road to the championship.

Leipzig is the only remaining competitor for the championship. Even if only half of the season's matches have been played now, I believe that Leverkusen and Dortmund no longer have a chance at the championship. I hope Leipzig can keep the league exciting and that it won't be another one-man show from Bayern.
