Is it necessary to put password in "-epsw"? Is it safe? And what password? Pool or worker password?
Most pools ignore the password field. Most people simply put "x" or "xxx". It is a password for the worker, not for your login to the pool.

Just added a couple cards to an AMD rig and now all my cards are mining slower. I was about 129 MH for 5 cards and now only 160MH with 7.
It only works when no OC is used. If I enter the original OC setting when I had higher MH, it will not mine at all. Only when I deleted the OC setting did it mine.
Any suggestions? Is it because of the 9.6 update? Thinking maybe, I attempted to use 9.4 and 9.5 but had the same results.

I added a couple Nvidia GPU's to my rig and now the temp/fan output line doesn't parse correctly and then it crashes my monitoring app when I go to use it.
It doesn't show the info for GPU0 (AMD). It shows "; GPU1 t-56 fan-40%, GPU2 t-57 fan-40%" (just the Nvidia's)
I've search around and haven't found an answer. Any ideas?

I am using "Suprnova". Can someone help (for ETH only): -epool eth.suprnova.cc:5000 OR: -epool eth.suprnova.cc:5005 OR: Also, does anyone knows the command line for ETH only with "Suprnova"? At this page I only see merged ETH + DCR: http://eth.suprnova.cc/

I believe it is ethdcrminer64.exe -epool eth.suprnova.cc:5005 -ewal suprnova.1 -epsw x Where the -ewal is you must put in your wallet address.worker

Is there any guide line to help how to configure this Clymore? I am confused!
What elements are necessary in config file?

If Claymore cannot fix can use other miner software. Maybe it can be fixed with a driver update, but I doubt AMD wants to sell cards to miners! So even if it can be fixed, they won't fix it.

What are you talking about? Its a myth that GPU producers dont like mining. THEY HAVE EARNED LOTS AND LOTS OF CASH. Again and again every available gpu is sold out... Gamers are unhappy because they have to wait 2-3 months for they single card... while we buy 20-50 at a time. Im getting so much shit from gamers on youtube because of the gpu market. But good news: FINALLY both nvidia and AMD are making custom gpus for mining. Sapphire was first from AMD http://www.pcgamer.com/sapphire-is-first-to-market-with-graphics-cards-specific-for-mining/Then ASUS followed... im sure the others will too. https://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/MINING-RX470-4G/overview/And look at this sweetie https://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/MINING-P106-6G/Now ... the question is all about ETH pos or if anything else will be able to take over (pumped by millions of $) For gpu producers.... having a good coin is better biz than any amount of commercial can amount to.

README There are lots of elements there, the problem is READ ME file dont explain what are necessary and what are not. Also, didnt explain step-by-step about how to start with it.

You go to the pool/pools you want to mine and they will give sample command lines for starting Claymore which can be put in a start.bat file. Also look at the example start.bat file in the Claymore installation folder.

If Claymore cannot fix can use other miner software.
As I understand no other miner is better. I don't see the link with drivers. I'm sure that AMD will fix the drivers if it can be improved as RX cards are losing popularity. It seems linked to processor/memory architecture ? Given how Claymore improved performance already from usual miners, If one miner software can get around the RX memory banking problem, I'm sure he will solve the problem, but I doubt any miner is better, and any driver can solve. I've found some description of the algorithm. quickly reading it seems designed to be annoying, ie memory intensive, and memory is the problem behind RX slowdown (I did not find exactly the cause, except a vague reference to memory bank switch). If there is a solution it probably requires to neglect part of the 2.5 GB of data, maybe to focus on the neglected part later. EDIT: I have found the answer : https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/6i1r5c/ethereum_hashrate_drop_for_radeon_rx400rx500_gpus/dj3ckli/ This particular slowdown is not directly related to memory speed, it's the result of translation lookaside buffer thrashing, and it's impact varies greatly from architecture to architecture and how the buffer was implemented. GPUs simply were not designed to make random accesses to a multi-GB contiguous chunk of data in VRAM. Pitcairn (256bit) and Tahiti (384 bit) suffered greatly from this and have continually lost performance as the DAG grew, whereas Hawaii (512bit) and Tonga (256bit) were not significantly impacted and still get much the same hashrate they did last year.
In the fall of 2015 a tweaked 280x would get +27mh, today it would be lucky to see 15mh. the 750Ti was hit super hard by this issue last year, with a steep plummet in hashrate down like 80% perma-lienembedenregistrerparentsignalerdorerrépondre
Translation lookaside buffer
A Translation lookaside buffer (TLB) is a memory cache that is used to reduce the time taken to access a user memory location. It is a part of the chip’s memory-management unit (MMU). The TLB stores the recent translations of virtual memory to physical memory and can be called an address-translation cache. A TLB may reside between the CPU and the CPU cache, between CPU cache and the main memory or between the different levels of the multi-level cache. The majority of desktop, laptop, and server processors include one or more TLBs in the memory management hardware, and it is nearly always present in any processor that utilizes paged or segmented virtual memory.
the solution would be to try to localize some computation in space and time (eg: work on teh first half, then on the second half), but the algorithm is designed to be memory intensive... as we say in french, Bon courage to Claymore... this is not usual HPC, as the difficulty is not bad luck, but designed to be annoying.

So is it possible for miner software or driver to fix this problem, or not?

For driver I doubt, if it is the TLB. HPC is an art, facing physics and mathematical barrier... Claymore can win against the odds, or not.

When using Claymore miner one of my GTX 970 cards runs slower than the other at 16mh/s rather than at 22 mh/s. I am running Windows 7 with the latest drivers. Whats weird is that when i restart the miner, the other card may become the slow one and the other the fast one. When I run ethminer i get 41 mh/s suggesting both cards are running at a good speed. Anyone have any ideas as i want to dual mine?
