So how hot is too hot?
I'm running my batch 1 and batch 2 units at 350MHz now. B1 seems to have settled on 47c for temp3, where B2 is at 52c now. Ambient temperature here is somewhat high (28c).
I have to place my unit right at the mouth of AC vent to make sure temp3 < 50C. In SW USA, top floor

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

ebereon, Great post about power!
What about hash rate at 375? I am afraid to test it and as reported there is no big increase performance

Is the measured consumption for 3 or 4 module Avalon? And what should be the recommended PSU wattage for 350 Mhz and 4 modules?

Thanks! As you can see, I had it running only 1 minute. It had 180HW errors and ~15 shares. The hashrate was ~76GH... very bad and not healty. Is the measured consumption for 3 or 4 module Avalon? And what should be the recommended PSU wattage for 350 Mhz and 4 modules?
This is for 3 module avalon batch#2 black (stock 750W PSU). Just calculate the Wattage for 3 module to 1 and you know what it will be for 4 module

There is 14% reserve, so that should be OK. But it depends on quality of PSU.

Should be ~900W@Wall. At the moment I calculate 720W@Wall with ~80% effiziency = 576W PSU output. Thats fine I think.

The power consumption depends a lot on ambient temperature. My stock PSU consumes 850W at night and 950W during the day. Upgraded to the Seasonic X-650 Gold 750W, and day power consumption reduced to 870W. All at 350MHz. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151087

I am interested as well. These look like they can reach 4000rpm max. Will buy a couple in case one fails.
