Every time I open this thread, always extra 2-4 pages and it's always the same few people posting Yeah. But no KnC, which annoys me. (as Orama != KnC) yeah, it astounds me to no end. everyone always bashes HF as a scam yet they are all over the place on their threads with multiple employee participation. plus, i'm not an employee, nor getting paid, yet i do my best to answer Q's.

I need one of the 4 boards in a Jupiter RMA'd. KnC must not be working weekends. They aren't answering e-mails. I have always had a reply within 12-24 hours, unless I am being ignored. Reply always comes in the morning before I wake up. This doesn't bode well if I need refunds for November.

KnC originally promised Jupiter at 250Gh/s for $7k.
sure, 7k without VAT and delivery during end of summer.) Actually Xialla it was 250Gh/s delivered in 'early Autumn'; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=187428.0Google states the following; The astronomical fall (Northern Hemisphere) 2013 began on;
Sunday, September 22
and ends on;
Friday, December 20
Cypherdoc my stance always has been that I would like to work for them if they can really live upto their claims. They have and they asked me to come to Stockholm the weekend prior to the ASICs being received by hand courier to watch a very tense and stressful engineering feat and document it to the community, placing their necks firmly on the chopping board for all to see, warts and all, and let me document it. I haven't signed any contract yet, I haven't been paid yet, I haven't even received my own order yet. They have never lied about performance specs or their intention to deliver on time. People who live in glass houses, shouldn't throw stones... no orama...see the very first post of knc.... Summer 2013 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=170332.msg1771040#msg1771040

People who live in glass houses, shouldn't throw stones... How could you ever accuse me of throwing stones? In sentence #1 of my endorsement thread I openly disclosed I was being paid by Hashfast. Now that batch 1 had been sold out that is no longer the case. I sense all sorts of obfuscation in your answer in the form of "yet". Let me try to be more specifi. Have they "implied" that you will be paid or compensated in the form of cash, btc, chips, equipment, employment, special favors or anything of a quid pro woo nature for all that you've done, which is substantial and easy beyond the call of duty as an ordinary customer? I take it they paid your way to Sweden and are paying all your expenses? Nope currently I have. I would then bill them at a future point in time. fine, answer the other larger part of the question. No I have not had any indication that I would be compensated for my time beyond that I now feel is unreasonable this side of September. That said my ability to keep this ship on course throughout such stormy weather and in light of the fact many based their purchases based on the factual evidence I shared and told the, to verify with further due diligence of their own, I certainly feel my time is worth something, from those that purchased here as well as KnC themselves considering they now have an affiliate program I've still yet to participate in. I have a tip Jar in my sit below that had only 2BTC the other day from thanks from members on this forum after all this time, it's now 3 thanks to Bargraphics. Despite all the demands and abuse, I can honestly state greed outweighs generosity here, and I'm starting to get quite tired of this. This is my first real day alone to myself and I'm laying in bed in the hotel, exhausted, still on this damn thread. The throwing stones aspect was related to how late your company will be and how they went about coercing people into parting with funds for a product that cannot be delivered in that timeframe. actually, i feel sorry for you. let me shift this to KNC: why aren't you (KNC) paying Rama after all he's done? at least offer him an hourly salary. and wtf are you doing letting a non-employee onto the assembly floor to help assemble, package, and ship units? there are labor laws against this sort of thing, you know. while i still have a problem with how Rama treated me in my thread, and probably always will, at the very least he was trying to promote and help you (KNC) sell units which is a highly valuable service (obfuscation) that has probably netted you (KNC) millions. at least i had the self respect to demand payment upfront for my services.

Hi Bitcoinorama, I appreciate your efforts to travel to another country and find out information on our behalf. This is great and I'm grateful. However, the facts haven't been that fast in coming and rather than writing long essays and getting wound up by the trolls, it might be better to answer some straight questions with some straight facts - How many units have been dispatched.
- How many units are left to be built and dispatched.
- When will the final unit of October Delivery be dispatched.
With these facts in the public arena I'm sure you'll get much less hassle from everyone here. If you can't get these facts, who can?

Summer 2013 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=170332.msg1771040#msg1771040 Dude that was in April, they hadn't even agreed anything with ORSoC let alone agreed on a product, feasible product specs, or approached manufactures for realistic timescale. They certainly hadn't envisaged naming a device Jupiter and it being 28nm, and capable of 250Gh/s.

If the ROI margins weren't so thin and in jeopardy of never happening you'd be getting more donations I'm sure. Looks like the next diff change will be a whopper...270mil. I think everyone is starting to realize how snookered they were in trying to grab a piece of the hashrate pie with overpriced shovels.

Excellent! The main concern raised here today is the issue of compensation for delayed shipping. I take it you will pass this along to Sam and we can expect an update tomorrow, 14th October, agreeing to compensate 1.5BTC per day late (recalculated at next difficulty rise)?
We await a positive response.
To be honest to date the most my Single Jupiter has made is shy of 12 BTC as of now. 1.5BTC would be a bit much per Jupiter order day late.

I was told around 1,000 last week when I stated this in the forum. I don't know, Marcus and Michael are at the manufacturing facility now determining that, but I don't see why it cannot be this week now device issues seem to be more or less sorted with the last update and since General Electric sent their Critical Power guy to double check and confirm the PCB met all their recommendations.

Was really hoping for some free miner protection thru firmware upgrades because of all the VRM's on the boards. HashFast customers may not be mining yet but that "miner protection" puts them in a more comfortable position. Then the difficulty will raise that much faster if most customers paid for it. But then of course they had to raise the prices even higher for "miner protection"...lol Like Puppet said, the chips are probably $50 each. BFL, BitFury, KnC, HashFast...the only people making money in the ASIC generation.
