Hi Phoenix,

Im from ClayMore´s miner and want to test the phoenix miner. Smiley

In CM i got 52 MH/s for an vega 64. (155 W on SW miner) and probably 200 from wall.

Here in my tests , using auto-tune or manual or intensity 15 i only got 44 mh/S , if increase intensity to 400 i got 32mh/S

I tested several kernels too, could be my amd drivers : Radeon-Software-Adrenalin-2019-19.5.2   ?

Its a Strange behavior.

Any ideia where should i look?

Thanks

Most probably you are using some options to change the timings and refresh rates of the VRAM, which aren't supported on PhoenixMiner. For similar things, you may use a third-party tool like AMD Memory Tweak tool: https://github.com/Eliovp/amdmemorytweak (note: we are not affiliated with the author(s) of this tool in any way)

Hi,

Thanks for response,

Hmm the problem should be that in CM i use -strap command and the miner change the timings on the fly, right ?

In PhoenixMiner should i use the thrid-party to get the same hashes right? or you have some command similiar to -strap for that?

Thanks
Yes, you should use AMD Memory Tweak and you will 100% sure get 1.0%-1.5% more hashrate than Claymore. I don't know what are the specific settings of AMD Memory Tweak  for Vega 64, just play a little with it. Every man with more than one brain cell will find them within one day of trying. Maybe 1.5% higher deserves one day effort? Start from this scratch:

Run Claymore with your best settings. After that run in command prompt window (with Administrative privileges if it is required for WinAMDTweak):

WinAMDTweak.exe —current

You will see the current setting of Claymore. Something like this:
https://www.cryptoprofi.info/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/word-image-49.png

Copy/Paste them down in text file.
After that stop Claymore. Run WinAMDTweak.exe --...  with these settings and run Phoenixminer.exe after that with the  same -cclock -mclock -cvddc -mvddc parameters like Claymore.

depending on what pool you are using... there is likely a threshold that has to be mined before it is deposited into your wallet i.e. .05 or .1 Eth.  So if you have not meet that threshold yet, it will remain at the pool until it is.

Example:  I mine at ethermine.org and my threshold is set for 0.1 eth before it is deposited into my wallet.  With my current set up that usually takes close to 52 hours before I see 0.1 eth depostited

Where can I check this? I only have the .bat file running. I can try to look there?

My Command line is as such: -pool us1.ethermine.org:4444 -pool2 us2.ethermine.org:4444 -wal (Wallet link) -proto 3

Does that look right?

Edit 2:
I was able to check progress on ethmine.org...guess I need to get a mininum of .05 before it transfers.

Yeah thats correct.  You have to meet their minimum threshold of 0.05 before its transferred to your wallet.

I'm used this command

Code:
PhoenixMiner.exe -pool ssl://eu1.ethermine.org:5555 -pool2 ssl://asia1.ethermine.org:4444 -wal 0x4a3a28f53371a8c6b3e669556877119300716722c.Rig001 -proto 3

as i know SSL better ( more safe ) you have to change EU to US and asia to US and your wallet and work name and go ahead with 5555 SSL port

Good morning to everybody

I have modified the original bios of my Gigabyte 5700XT, only copying the value of the VRAM that appeared in the 1550 field in the rest of the fields. I have flashed that BIOS and now I get 56/57 MHS with a consumption of 123W.

I am a newbie to AMD and I ask for help, how can I modify the BIOS to obtain less electricity consumption? Is there a way to reach 61Mhs as I have seen in some Internet video?

I have no AMD experience, I have never modified BIOS, can I download a Bios Mod for my card from somewhere?

Thank you very much and sorry for the inconvenience.

If you don't flash bios you will get only 53 instead of 56. It is absolutely safe to flash your bios.

You'd better save all 3 Bios images for later backup.
