The Super Eagles won by two goals to nill, all of the goals which was scored in the first half gave the Super Eagles that qualifying advantage and they had their game well coordinated, indeed this assembly of these set of players is one of the best in recent times and it's looking very promising,  I hope the coach gets to take note from this game and look at points where which improvement should be made such as the players been able to complete their passes as others make take advantage of that in the world cup, Rwanda was a small side and couldn't use that to their advantage.

The 2 first half goals scored by Victor Osimhen paved way for the Super Eagles against Rwanda despite they couldn't score another goal in the second half but there is still need for improvement because i expected at least one more goal from the Super Eagles, but they felt fulfilled in the second half since they were already leading by 2 goals. The players tried in their understanding, and they combatively won without much pressure. I don't know why you guys keeps calling Rwanda a small side when this same Rwanda played draw against Nigeria and even won Nigeria in the second leg of the CAF Nations Cup qualifier so why call such team a small side.

The Nigerian keeper is trying but needs further improvement as this isn't the kind of performance that will take them far in the world cup,  he had a clean sheet today but that was a collective result of having a weak opponent and an average defence line that helped otherwise he doesn't look so sound like before to me anymore.  Anyways congratulations to the Super Eagles.

The Nigerian goalkeeper needs to improve more in his keeping skills because he made some mistakes which could have cost them goals but thanks to the defense that always repel the attacks from the Rwanda players but since the game ended without the goalkeeper conceding any goals, we can't say that the keeper didn't try on his own part since what makes a good goalkeeper is conceding less goals and having more clean sheets in matches. Nigerian defenders did great job in this game, and they deserve praises as we hope for more improvements in their upcoming games.

Super Eagles did a good job by winning with 2 goals to 0 against Rwanda. It was expected to be a hard match for them and it was Osimhen who excelled in the first half by scoring all Nigeria goals. Can we say that Nigeria is back on track again?

I think it is too soon to say that they are back on track after just a win today, they have lost so many games and dropped too many points for a single game to make up for but with this win I think they are getting better and trying their hardest to qualify for the World Cup.

Osimhen was the star of the match, he did well and it seems like he is the only goal scorer in the team. The team played well but now they will have to hope that Benin lose or draw against South Africa to have a chance to qualify  but they will also have to win their match against Zimbabwe.

It will be a huge blow if Nigeria doesn’t qualify to the World Cup again despite having to play against easy teams, they didn’t perform well under the former coach but I think things might be different under this new coach. Nigerians just have to pray that Benin lose against South Africa.

This win against Rwanda is a big boost and if they win the next game it would do more good cause we'll keep moving up, from 4th we could move to 2nd or so and I'm beginning to see some discipline in this Chelle's Regime, Nigeria as a team already has the squad we just needed someone that would organise the team more properly, someone that would put the right players in their perfect wing to form the perfect squad for the Super Eagles and that's what Chelle did you can see it in their stats from the image above the Super Eagles players where more disciplined and each player had a wonderful performance, swapping Lookman and Iwobi worked perfectly it helped Osimhen to get more chances to goal cause he surrounded with players that made it more easier, I doubted Chelle but I'm impressed with his first and I believe he'll likely be more successful and time goes, kudos to Osimhen he keeps doing wonders both in Africa and across Europe he's a big asset for the Super Eagles.

The Super Eagles were very disciplined and clinical in this game more than I have seen them played in recent times. Eric Chelle winning his first game with a cleansheet is quite impressive and I also do admire his tactics too.

Though his players missed a few goals opportunities and he would need to work on his strikers to be more direct and precise with the ball not to miss such goal scoring chances should they meet a stronger opponent of equal strength than Rwanda. Congratulations to the Super Eagles this win should be a motivation to win their next game with Zimbabwe and see what fate has for them in the qualification battle of their group.

Yeah, this really looks like one of their best games so far in a long while. On a normal Nigeria has a good squad and if properly managed will definitely go far, where I was angry is the fact that before this game they were in 4th place after playing four games which is not supposed to be where a team like Nigeria should be in such a group that has those kinda teams in it. Well, you shouldn't be angry at the players actually it was due to poor coaching management and techniques from the previous coaches who handled those previous four games that led the Super Eagles to this difficult position where they're now struggling on a slim hope of qualifying in their group. Now Nigeria would have to win their next match against Zimbabwe to get 9 points and hope that Rwanda or Benin Republic draw or lose in their next match for Nigeria to stand a chance of qualifying in that group, perhaps by goals difference. Which is why they would need to score as much goals as they could get in their next game.

Well, you are right. But that doesn't make them the worst team in Group C. Although they dropped points in their last four matches in the world cup qualifiers, I believe that's all in the past. With current head coach Erick Chelle bringing in tactical discipline, I am confident that they can qualify from the group regardless of the challenges. The squad's talent and depth give them the potential to bounce back and perform strongly.

Nigeria got 3 points in their previous games. They played 4 games, drew 3 games and loss 1 game. And now that they have won this game, they have gotten another 3 points and add it to the other 3 points it is 6 points now and they were on the 5th position in the group table and now they have climbed up to 4th position.
The formation is good and the defense of the Super Eagles were good shape. The back is good but they have to work on the front.

Despite the Super Eagles win against Rwanda today, I am going to rate their frontline and backline defense performance on average score. You know why you can't give such an average performance on a big team and expect a win at the end of the match. The Super Eagles were just lucky today with their poor mistake passes and defending.

Rwanda performed below expectations; they didn't show the level of seriousness that they wanted to win the match; they wanted a preferable result of a draw match so that they would keep topping the Super Eagles. The time the Super Eagles scored them they were forced to come out to challenge the Super Eagles to check whether they could score. But still, their performance was below average. The funniest part is that the Super Eagles are below them. They are ahead of the Super Eagles by a point, maintaining their top 3 positions of the Group C table with 7 points, the Super Eagles in 4th place with 6 points

Honestly speaking the Nigerian Super Eagles where really at their top best game today the game was one of their best in long awhile if you check Nigeria has a good squad potential but proper management is the key to unlock their potential,before the recent win Nigeria are having 4th place round after the past play which was really disappointing for the team.

Super Eagles' hope to be at the World Cup would have received a major blow if they had lost this match. All thanks to Victor Osimhen for delivering the Nigerian team today. For me I love the way Nigeria played today because it has been long I see the team play with so much confidence. If you want the second half, you will notice that the Nigeria side holds the ball for almost give minutes anytime Rwanda loses possession of the ball and the passes are accurate and classic. This is unlike the Super Eagles that play up ball looking for the attack in most of their matches. If Nigeria can sustain this level of ball control going forward, we will go far in most if the coming tournaments. It is just a matter of the coach working out how to convert that possession to goal scoring opportunities.  The Super Eagles did exceptionally well today.

I believe many of you are really impressed with all what we saw in this game between Rwanda vs Nigeria. To be honest I'm really disappointed, if this is the Rwanda that was at the top of the group then the Super Eagles should be ashamed of the score line today and if it was a country like Senegal they can't be satisfied with a 2 goal lead, they would have continue pushing to get more goals, can't tell why Nigeria always relax when they are leading by a goal or 2, even the goalkeeper was delaying the game at 60'mins+ for what? That's why I so much love Vincent Enyeama because he would shout on the players to continue going forward to get goals then when we get to 80mins that's when the delay will start but I can't understand Nnwabali. Why can't the Super Eagles always have that hunger for goals whenever they play against a team or country that isn't as strong as they are? This isn't how we are going to play in the world and if eventually we qualify I don't think the Eagles will pass the group stage because I don't see any upgrade in this squad.

Despite the fact that the Super Eagles of Nigeria did played excellently tonight against Rwanda while playing from away, for me, I would have love to say let's not be in a rush to determine if are the Super Eagles back on track or not until they plays their forthcoming game which is meant to be played on 25th March against Zimbabwe and win, since Nigeria will be playing from home. Because I can really not be fully confident in the entire Super Eagles players. But when it comes to Victor Osimhen, I'm 100% sure he is fully prepared.

The Super Eagles needed three points and all they did was work on getting the three points and nothing more. I know your issue might be regarding the delay tactics he used but this is African football and if you don't play this way, your opponent will get the better of you.

as someone who has watched a lot of Chelsea games and has seen how they have fumbled a lot of times even after scoring first, I can tell you that this is what you do to come back from a stretch of bad results from the last four games they have played. when it was necessary to hold the ball and get some possession of the game, they executed it well and when they needed to attack, they were good at it. we can categorically say that in a long while, this is one of those Super Eagle games where you are somehow comfortable while watching because they didn't just score goals but were the better team even though they were playing as the visiting team. respect to Victor Osimehn, he has proven once again that he merited the African best.

The setting was good and the performance was great. And this Match shows that the problem in Nigeria Super Eagles is not really from the players but the Coach. When Augustine Eguavoen was coaching the team in the Nations Cup Qualifiers, the team did well and won the games, and when Eric Chelle coached them and their performance today was good. And that means Finidi George was not the man of the job at all. It is better he coach the National League teams and not upper Clubs. And with this I believe they will win their next match on Tuesday. The problem of the Super Eagles was the coach and not the players. But they still need to work hard to face stronger team in the real tournament.

Well from the looks of things Nigerian still got a long way to go and a tough road to ahead to qualify in the game currently they have got fourth point ahead of south Africa to qualify Nigeria will likely need to wins aleast five matches which this will be an daunting task, I guess their match will be against Zimbabwe on March 25 which will be a most to win their by all means, the team poor start to qualify with three draws and one loss in their fourth rounds and this has kept them in an difficult position.

And I think anyone saying the Super Eagles has the best squad right now in Africa isn't making a wrong statement.

Having some famous players in the national team does not make the national team the best in Africa. What will make the national team the best in Africa are the achievements that a national team has achieved at that time. At the moment, the reality is that the Nigerian national team is the worst in Group C, along with Zimbabwe.

In all these 4 games in which the Nigerian national team lost points, they were playing with the same famous players that they have, and the result was that they lost against Benin, drew against Zimbabwe, against South Africa and against Lesotho. If the Nigerian players today play with inflated egos and consider themselves the best team in Africa, they may lose points again. They should not underestimate the opponent or set themselves a title when they are not winning anything big at the moment.

I don't think the players pride themselves as the best in Africa or played those matches with inflated egos. What happened was that we had a bad coach who did not know what he wasn't doing and this led to our poor performance. We've a new coach now and today's game is his first match in charge of the super eagles. I won't say we played very well but I'm happy we got all three points and I hope we improve more and get some good results.

The score line already should clear the doubt that of those who think the Super Eagles won't win the game. Victor Osimehn is making it easy in the opponents 18-yard box. He is unpredictably making sure he creates chances to get more goals in this competition. And with the look of things, it is certain that Nigeria will qualify for the next round.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria were in a better position to win their match, the new coach really let the players know that this match is their main hope to qualify to the World Cup because losing this match will bring the Super Eagle of Nigeria down completely, and from all indications, the players were also ready for the challenge since they are all in Europe top teams, they need to have a wonderful performance in their country side so as to be rated high globally.

The match ended 2-0 in favor of the Super Eagles of Nigeria; this win means a lot for the Super Eagles, it is a motivation to fight back to the top because they can win almost all the teams in the group if the team is been properly managed. Osimhen should be the man of the match because his second goal was a world-class striker that shows his strength and talent and a striker that is always ready for his country; the Super Eagles couldn’t win any match when Osimhen was absent, but now that he is back, we have seen his impact in the squad, and we will be back at the top soon. Big performance from the super Eagles, victor Osimehn score 2 goals to win the match 0-2 for his side. This is a much needed win from the super eagles, I expected the match to be a bit difficult for the eagles but an early goal  help them to a comfortable win.

Ghana also cruise pass Chad by beating them 5-0, from the beginning of the match Ghana took absolute control and scored 3 goals in the first half and also scored 2 goals in the second half. Ghana remain top of the standing, having 12 points in 5 matches.

As a fan fond of Manchester United, I wouldn't want to see Victor Oshime joining Chelsea again after that game I finally saw against Wolverhampton during the weekend. ( Yes, I'm being baised ) I would love him to  take the offer from Saudi and after a season or two, he can return back to European Competitions. His move to Saudi Arabia will not stop him from getting the call from Nigerian football during Afcon and other international Competitions.

Everything depends on what exactly he wants at the moment, if the money is what he intends to get at the moment then the Saudi pro league is just the best option currently but if he wants an European exposure then Chelsea is the best move from which he may get other moves in the future, it's much easier to move from Chelsea to other teams than moving from the Saudi pro league back to England or Europe as a whole, in a long time I have not seen movement of such manner so I doubt the ease in such a move, so for .e the best bet is Chelsea first than in the future he can go to other leagues.

The race for the world cup qualifiers is not really easy. We are still in a tight spot and it would really be disappointing and shameful, if we don't qualify for the 2026 World Cup, which would be make two times in a roll and even more shameful now base on our squad depths and their individual fame across Europe.

Winning the remaining matches seems more too good to be true but I hope in the end either ways we qualify.

Super eagles performance was not bad today, they played well, and were able to get three points in the match, they dominated the match in both the first half, and second half, and they were able to get a win. Seriously I never expected a win from the super eagles in today’s match, what I was expecting in the match was a draw, but things were kind of different today.

Osimhen is really a talented player, he really played well today, and he was able to score two goals for the super eagles, seriously if not for osimhen, then the match won’t have been so easy for the super eagles, we all Osimhen in every part of the field, his presence was really felt in the match.

For the super eagles to qualify for the World Cup, they will still have to win most of their matches, I know that’s not really going to be easy for them, but I think they should be able to achieve that if they are really serious, the super eagles are having a better squad than other players in their group.
