You know I know you know that they will deliver on time... but always the little voice right?

At least you know they are talking about you buddy. What are your multiple accounts hero? What about the guy who was going on about the chips yesterday... how about I have a look at that concordance... similarities... hmmm. Let's investigate those patterns shall we and see what turns up? Hashfasttrollname or whatever it was. No spy set needed. Just copy and paste the text of both posts into and program and watch the results. You know it is makes little difference how many accounts you make and try to upset the apple cart here buddy. No one cares about your opinion with regards to SPTech. The rest of us will just go off of what they produce and how they deal with actual customers. Given the nature of market they have done very well to keep customers well informed and when they mess up the admit the fault and move forward. I'd rather do biz with people that act in that manner. I'll be sure to avoid doing biz with you GRN and again any of your multiple accounts as well.

Welcome to Ignore.
1123  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 17, 2014, 07:29:52 AM

I would not be surprised if collider, roadstress, and someone posting under spondoolies-tech are one in the same person. same message persistently throughout the forum.

Not a claim? Evidence?

Let us put this perspective.

<SARCASM>This person is not CLAIMING that "collider, roadstress and someone posting under spondoolies-tech are one on the same person..." no not at all. </SARCASM>

Cripes.

If you are not making statement or claim then what is the purpose of the post? It is an opinion or whatever you want to slip out of it with right dude?

Seriously this sort of crap is not going to fly especially when you can easily determine whether or not there are distinct lexical patterns in any of the people you claim could be one in the same with a free software. Your opinion, statement whatever you want to call it is FALSE. There is absolutely no evidence to support this "would not be surprised if" claim. If there is provide evidence to support your OPINION. You can't because it is false and the fact that someone with some experience in studying concordances and collocations has called you out was something you weren't expecting to happen I guess. That is right you can actually find patterns in people's posts and determine with a relative degree of certainty that it is same person posting. I hope that puts to rest your layman's opinion on these accounts are and I QUOTE you directly:

I would not be surprised if collider, roadstress, and someone posting under spondoolies-tech are one in the same person.

You will be surprised because there is no evidence to support this opinion.

There is no emotion in setting the record straight. If want to insinuate that people are being covert and have multiple accounts when they don't and there is no evidence to support it you deserve to get put in your place. You can back peddle all you like buddy but the point is you have made a claim and it is clearly false. You look like a fool doing this and then back peddling the claim is even funnier. Sheesh weak you can't even begin to defend that claim so make a joke and turn the focus on the person and not the fact you were called out. Classic. What are you multis? Maybe that is the better question.

Our commitment is to ship in August.

We're getting ASICs shipments every few days and producing at a a rate of 70 to 100 SP30 per day.

I understand your anxiety, but please be patient.
Please keep this tread professional and without personal attacks.

We'll open October SP30 batch soon. The spec we guarantee is 5.5 TH/s with 3KW at the wall.

If we'll miss the hahs-rate upwards (more probable), the customer will win.
If we'll miss downwards, we'll compensate for the missing hash-rate and keep the $/GH/s ratio.

Guy

Way to keep it classy.

Not sure I can keep my anxiety / anticipation in check as a customer.

But first the Luke Unit must be deployed.
Officially "shipped" as a customer unit.

Well technically they don't really need to ship it.  They can imply that a shipping label would have been used has it been necessary to ship but otherwise in no uncertain terms would they not have shipped had they not actually had the unit for sale to a customer.  Do we need to revisit the Luke-jr "shipped" semantics thread.

1128  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beastlymac - scammed me for 3.1 btc - gridseeds group buy on: August 16, 2014, 12:11:15 PM
@bbxx

Your brother is getting his Bitcoins back when the auction is completed. They were put on auction because your brother didn't respond in the 5 days he was given to respond for another decision. I don't see the point of you continuing to try to denounce Beastlymac.

my brother responded before that he will not communicate via pm with beastlymac until case will be resolved.
beastlymac auction is his business it is not related to this case of steal.

Well, that was a problem for your brother.

However, your brother is still getting a refund from the auction.

Act like a child. Throw a hissy fit and take all his marbles and goes home sad.

Childish behaviour. There is a solution, been one for long while now and this guy doesn't want to take it. Be a warning to any sellers don't deal with this fool.

this solution is not fair. beastlymac has been stating since 10.03.2014 that my brother didnt order anything.
so why my brother has to consume loss caused by beastlymac scammy communication?

holding miners within 4 months and not answering is not scam?

good luck with your business bicknellski if such resolution is fair for your customers

dont forget to apologize me, you said i am clown, fake brother, asshole.
gandalfg, your business partner know me and my brother personally.

bicknelski, way you have been defending your business partner from wasp is disgusting, put your relations at side and focus at real matter of this ugly scam.

The solution was that the miners were to be put onto auction, and the winning bid payment would go to your brother.

Could you please explain to users how this isn't fair?

It is not fair, becouse my brother could have his miners or refund at 13.03.2014
becouse of beastlymac way of communication (not responding to pms, emails) this case is proved scam.
beastlymac should return gridseeds value dated at 13.03.2014 - becouse he stopped respoding from that time having proof of payment.

Your brother didn't send a shipping address. By not sending a shipping address, he was instead put on a separate list. This caused confusion as to whether your brother had ordered the miners.

If your brother had actually sent it, he would not be on the other list and would've gotten his miners.

Beastlymac also has to deal with thousands of other PMs (according to him). If his inbox is that cluttered up, then it's very easy to miss some messages.

Your brother is getting a refund from the auction. That is the solution. Your brother didn't respond within 5 days of when the solution was suggested to suggest something else.

I still don't see the point of you continuing to denounce Beastlymac.

I know why...

1129  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: who is currently manufacturing miners? on: August 16, 2014, 07:09:44 AM
Just to be picky, the correct question is "who is actually delivering miners". As we have seen with multiple companies, there is a HUGE difference between manufacturing and delivering to a paying customer.

We are now doing both. Manufacturing and delivering miners.

Right about the same story on my purchase experience.  Great communication until they get your money in their hand, then it gets spotty, if at all.

Upon arrival, my rig had 1 of 2 boards hashing.  swap cables around, and the other board hashes, while the first one stops.

-- Answer= the rig came short 1 USB cable and was not assembled correctly.  Once i took a serious look at it, and did some research on the controller board, i realized they had the USB power for the controller going to one of the boards instead of from the USB hub. was some kind of crazy daisy chain that didn't work.  A little QA would have gone a long way in this case, and most other cases. Once the boards both received their input from the USB hub, they both hashed at the same time.

During the troubleshooting of the 1 board hashing at a time issue, one of the boards blew a power supply chip.  My RMA time was 10 days, which is pretty good for a package going coast to coast and back again.

I stated to AMT that i wanted to get the MPP upgrade, BEFORE my rig shipped. 2 days later, i got an email stating it shipped the day before.  Rig still didn't get to me for another 2 weeks.

After i received my replacement board, no more of my emails have received replies.  I have asked numerous times about the MPP, via email, this forum and PM.  Not a single acknowledgement of my inquiries.  Nada, zilch, ZIP!

I still have a board in my rig with 15 of 16 chips that hash, but was worried i would never see a replacement if i sent it back to get a board with all chips in good working order.

So, even with $160 credit towards my next order(for a shipping refund from Fedex, which should have been returned to me, but was kept by AMT), i would not place another order with them.  Maybe if they made some kind of attempt to make good on the MPP, or even answered an email telling me something, anything, i may consider it.  But until then, they will not get another red cent from me, and i will continue to caution others about buying anything from them.

it's your money, but don't say you haven't had ample warning.  They may send you something, or they may not.  anybody's guess at this point.  That is not the confidence i want to see from previous customers when i'm spending thousands of dollars.

as for the S1, you'll have to go aftermarket for one, as BitMain does not sell the S1 any longer.  Looks they are only doing S1 upgrade kits, with a minimum order of 2.  Or you can go with the S3, which is basically the S1 with a factory installed upgrade kit.  Kit gives better efficiency and higher hashrate.

good luck man.  buy with your eyes open.

+1 Pretty much sums up this whole fiasco.

please apologize me for saying clown and fake brother.
gandalfg knows us both bersonally

whole fiasco is result of beastlymac mess and ignoring pms
he held his goods/btc within 4 months and keep ignoring my brother
this is scam

No, it started with the omission of the buyers shipping address. You shouldn't even be posting as you are not the buyer, you are not adding anything new.
curiousminer  stated he would give the address once the items are ready to send, they are and have been. Give the shipping information as per your word, or is your word worthless? Might be time for me to do more searching around for this pattern from others on the forums and post up a scam accusation right back on these two for extortion.

There is obviously an attempt to game the seller with this sort of ploy. They have probably done this numerous times in the past with alt accounts. Suggest people do not deal with these people. Simple solution is for the customer to give the information and get his compensation and stop harassing people in the forums in this manner. Looks more like an attempt at extortion than honestly looking to find a resolution from the "brother". Time to do some research and maybe post a scam accusation right back at these two for extortion. Probably these "two", or more probably a single person, has done this many times already in these forums with multiple accounts. Untrustworthy is what this is plain and simple given there is a resolution that is FAIR AND EQUITABLE and it is not being taken.

Why the thumbs down for Avalon? I know they had their past problems but they are currently shipping in hand stock and fast. I got my 290gh module in Sydney, Australia in 6 days. Not bad I reckon.

Still outstanding issues with regards to the lost revenue on batches and chips. Given the millions they cost I can not personally recommend them until they give a full accounting of what happened. Particularly with the chips as many a good DIY developer tanked and are still in dire troubles as a result. If they were somehow able to rectify some of that I'd be more inclined to support Avalon but as it stands I don't think it is appropriate to recommend supporting a company that did so much damage. Sometimes it is probably best to avoid companies like this entirely in the hopes they do suffer the same fate they caused so many people... that fate... bankruptcy. Not unlike HashFast, Bitmine, and others that have failed to properly compensate people that is why I place Avalon in the thumbs down. Also given there are more reputable players without such baggage why bother with Avalon?

Although I will review any and all information you have on their current patterns I think they still have a lot to do to make up for what has transpired beyond shipping some units on time in the last few months.

My question is when do you trust a bad player given the damage ranged into the millions of USD? Ever? 3 Months? When Yifu left?

What do you think is an appropriate rehabilitation of this companies reputation given there are still people in debt as a result of their failures and they have not compensated those people properly? (Asking seriously here... maybe there is room for me to move my opinion but is just shipping today enough?)

Arbitrage / Mining Alternatives to Revenue?

Quote
Another trader, Joseph Lee, created arbitrage bots that managed his trading for a year, netting him hundreds of thousands of dollars. He has since retired the bots to focus on derivatives exchange BTC.sx. Lee also disagrees with the conclusions of Halaburda and Gandal’s working paper.

“Without a doubt, arbitrage opportunities have existed in [the period of study] and will always exist in the market. They even exist in the current financial market which has trillions of dollars of liquidity,” he said.

So you do not want to buy as there is no ROI? But are there opportunities in Arbitrage between exchanges for BTC or even between altcoins and BTC?

Don't chuck out the miners yet always a new way to skin a cat.

He was not ignored for 5 months I did respond to some of the messages sent although I do admit that my communication skills during that period was sub par.

He has withheld his shipping details from day one. Even though he stated. His package would have been delivered months ago had he provided his shipping details "in next days i will provide you shipping address plus i will send you cash for package to poland." As KWH has hinted at it is possible that curiousminer withheld his shipping details in an attempt to bet on the difficulty at the time they would have been delivered if the difficulty was good he would have kept his order if not he would have tried to get a refund. Maybe he was under the impression that getting a refund at a later date was a possibility because he did not read the rules that where stated in the thread that say that no refund could be given after the order had been submitted to the manufacturer.

My vague statement was correct. I don't reveal the full details on purpose.
In about 45 days (October batch) the SP30 will be 5.5 THs
(The limiting factor will remain the PSUs. The RockerBox has much more potential for over clocking)
This will be done without mask fix, just production tuning.

jtoomim more or less got it right.

Guy

My point is that TSMC will not have 'accidentally' botched 3 separate batches of lots (August, September, October). Remember, these are the same 28nm lines that Qualcomm and Broadcomm use. The notion that it is TSMC's 'fault' is simply a convenient excuse to a design mistake. I have no doubt that TSMC is capable of a retarget of your LVT devices to meet your original performance target. However, that 10% increase you were hoping to achieve with a post engineering run retarget has disappeared. Guy, I applaud your ability to perform damage control.

jtoomim, yes my name is intentionally chosen to troll. That doesn't delegitimize my arguments. Source: I run fab sync for a major US semiconductor company. You don't have to believe me, but you can do your own research on the topic.

Why anonymously?

Not that I discount anything you are posting just trying to get a measure of your interest or bias potentially. There are people who have come on these forums to purposefully devalue brands so it be nice to know if this is intended as consumer protection versus narrative management for the purpose of degrading a company's image. The "truth" can be put in MANY different ways.

These two guys are jerking Beastlymac around at this point. There is a solution on the table they won't take it because they want to inflict more hurt on Beastlymac.

Well guess what? There are others watching on the sidelines and see right through these two and their games. No one should do biz with these two jokers they are not trustworthy. The lies and misrepresentations are more than an enough at this point to put them on ignore and let them pile up some more negative trust ratings.

Solution has been offered. Take the solution already and stop pissing into the wind. I have nothing but loathing and contempt for people who are obviously only out to destroy someone's reputation even when that person is trying very hard to make amends. Stop being assholes and take the compensation and please crawl back into whatever fricking hole you climbed out of. No one will ever do biz with you guys again given this sort BS and I will be sure to be pointing out people to this thread should they want to do biz with either of you two.

Let me remind you of your post:

Give the shipping info, take delivery of your order and get the offered refund. Case closed.
Questions have been answered many times but they are not the answers you want so you "both" persist. You also were negligent during this time.

if beastymac would tell me, there are goods waiting for me, i would give him shipping info. BUT numerous times he told me im not on order list. so i been asking for refund.

for me coming out with "private list" after 5 months of ignoring consumer, what renders goods worthless is not fare.
what do you thing about coming out with "private list" idea after 5 months ? is it ok ?

SNIP... IGNORING THE LIARS IS THE RIGHT MOVE.
