I also believe that Lewandowski will score a goal or maybe more during these final games and I think he will beat Muller record of 40 goals in a season.Bayern is already Bundesliga Champion and will play freely thus enabling Lewandowski to score as I hope his friends will want to help him score and beat the record.

Normally, he should break the record. The whole team will play for him. They will let him take all the penalties or promising free kicks. The only thing that could stop him from breaking the record is an early injury or really bad luck.
1442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 13, 2021, 04:31:14 PM
I would be not surprised if Schalke would win the game today against Hertha Berlin with a 1 scored Goal !
Normaly Hertha Berlin should win this match and i will place my bet for a win for them.
But its hard to say who will win in this kind of matches , as we got the craziest results the last weeks in the German league.
Don't hesitate, the match is still won by Shalke04, I'm sure Shalke won't lose against Heltha Berlin, shalke players are superior to Heltha Berlin, because shalke players are very confident this season, they will be the ones to win on the green field.

Dude, the match has been over for hours and Hertha Berlin won 1-2 against Schalke. Why do you post here as if the game would still be going on? I think that you have not followed the game at all and just posts here.
1443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: May 13, 2021, 04:08:58 PM
Happy Friday, gamblers Smiley

Some time ago, last October, I asked you if BTC price increase has affected your gameplay somehow. Back then, it wasn't a problem for most of the users who replied.

Well, today the BTC price is almost $50K. I was just wondering, how are things now.
Are you still playing with Bitcoin, or have you switched to another coin due to a rise?

Thanks,
Karl from Bitcasino

I would say long term hodlers are more willing to gamble at a high Bitcoin price. For one simple reason: they have made a large profit from their long-term investment and are more willing to risk a part of it in gambling than investors who got in late and made a rather small profit from their Bitcoin investment. In summary, it also depends on the duration of the Bitcoin investment.
1444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I swap my BTC to altcoins and hold for better benefits? on: May 13, 2021, 03:56:54 PM
We all see that the BTC price is sideway from 50k to 58k for few months now and it seem can't break up the 60k barrier.

One can see in your post that you have not been in the crypto business that long. If you take a closer look at the Bitcoin chart, you can see that Bitcoin has always had longer sideways movements in its history. Especially after a strong price increase. It's the same this time.
Of course, you can now switch to altcoins now, but the separation between good and bad altcoins is just beginning, so you have to choose the right altcoin to really take a profit. Bitcoin will make its next push sooner or later, probably towards 100k. That's why most Bitcoin investors have always been right to sit out such phases and not trade in other coins.
1445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New meme coins 😂😂😂 on: May 13, 2021, 03:43:45 PM
Doge coin and shiba coin have opened door for weak devs who are just waiting for new opportunities to grab more money the easiest way possible, am I the only one seeing new incoming meme coins this days? I mean I don't want to mention names but they are growing in numbers 🤣🤣🤣🤣 want some advice? Be careful where you put your money meme coins are simply meme coins no more no less

I don't agree with you there. Over the years there have been many different meme coins, but most have disappeared or have little value. The one meme coin that has caught on is Dogecoin. Sort of the mother of all meme coins. New meme coins will have an enormously difficult time establishing themselves at all. That's why I think Dogecoin will keep its unique selling proposition, also because so many people now support it.
1446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔷 Waves Tech - a powerful blockchain-agnostic ecosystem on: May 13, 2021, 03:28:09 PM
1. USD-N is a algorithmic stable coin backed by WAVES-tokens.

That is clear so far. But unfortunately, still no one could explain to me what would happen if the Waves price suddenly collapsed. Then many Waves would have to be deposited additionally. It is not clear to me from the whitepaper how such a case would be handled. Maybe I didn't get it right, but it would be interesting if someone would explain it in simple terms.
1447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 13, 2021, 03:24:24 PM
The relegation battle could turn out to be even less exciting than most people here expect. Bremen has published its financial figures, and they show a very high loss and a high level of debt. The probability is not small that a points deduction is imminent or even a forced relegation. It will be interesting to see how the DFL reacts. This could also be a reason why Werder Bremen has not yet fired its coach. They simply can't afford it financially.
1448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling risks during coronavirus pandemic on: May 11, 2021, 04:24:21 PM
There is, in my opinion, only a slightly higher chance of getting addicted to gambling through Corona than in normal times. Of course, many more people are bored at home and may then seek the thrill in online casinos. But first, you have to be receptive to it, which many aren't, and if they are, they were gambling before Corona. On the other hand, you need money for that, and for many that is much less available due to Corona.
1449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hoping to see a bitcointalk token sooner on: May 11, 2021, 04:19:37 PM
This is the birthplace of crypto and many people learnt alot from here. is it not fair for this platform to get a token that can be traded in the market. other content management platform has then own crypto that are been traded and use as a means of rewards to their users.
please don't say bitcoin. currently, not everyone can afford bitcoin now. we need an altcoin as an alternative token here for payment of service.

Ah well, and what properties should a Bitcointalk token have that other coins don't already have? It would have to be something innovative, otherwise it would be just another unnecessary altcoin.
1450  Economy / Economics / Re: Warren Buffett says he's sees ‘very substantial inflation’ and rising prices on: May 11, 2021, 04:17:30 PM
This serves as a counterpoint to everyone who says the US economy is "booming" atm.

Warren Buffet has a point here. The U.S. economy is currently booming because there is an extremely large amount of cheap money and this money enters the economic cycle quickly (unlike in Europe, for example, where there are other structures). This increases inflation, which can already be seen in the partly extreme real estate prices. Therefore, sooner or later, the Fed will have to raise interest rates to contain inflation and protect the economy. But this is exactly what will cause stock prices to fall and indirectly hit the economy. The FED is in a quandary.
1451  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigerian Government Ban on Crypto, the P2P dilemma on: May 11, 2021, 04:12:22 PM
Humans are the biggest enemy to humanity, they know that p2p is the only choice for Nigerian people to convert their cryptos into fiat or vice versa so they take advantage by changing the price smaller when you sell BTC to them and charge a much higher fee when you buy from them and this is how that N18+ difference before.

Sooner or later, such measures will create a black market anyway. Then Bitcoin will be exchanged for fiat money at a market stall or in a back room without going through an online service. Such measures are completely absurd and it is only a matter of time before the Nigerian government takes them back due to ineffectiveness.
1452  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Unterschied von NEM zu XYM on: May 10, 2021, 06:31:54 PM
Hallo,

1453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A question on value on: May 10, 2021, 06:24:55 PM
But if it's a continuous development, the price increase is inevitable.

Not necessarily. A good example in Ripple. A large part of the XRP are still owned by the founders who are gradually selling them. If Ripple were fairly distributed, the current price would be much lower. Only 1/3 of Ripple coins are in free circulation. The current price is around $1.5. If all coins were in circulation, the fair price would have to be around $0.5, if not even lower.
1454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Collection Thread] Series and films in which Bitcoin (or Altcoins) appear on: May 10, 2021, 06:17:11 PM
There have probably been more bitcoins since this thread was last updated (though I couldn't say for sure).  It'd be nice if this thread was kept up-to-date.

I remember it being referenced in 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier' recently, but forgot to make a note of which episode it was.

Please take a note next time. I noticed a lot of people post here but can not exactly say in which episode it occurs. I watch a lot of series but I can not watch all mentioned here, otherwise I would need to have a 48 hours day  Cheesy
1455  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you aware of Shrinkflation? on: May 09, 2021, 09:13:34 AM
Deceptive marketing has always been there. People complain that they receive less product for more money, so the alternative is to charge the same amount while reducing the size or amount of the product. Not so much a dark side of the free market, more so taken advantage of consumers that aren't wise enough to look at the unit price.

You're right, nonetheless, it's a kind of hidden inflation. If you get less quantity for the same price, then an entity of that quantity has become more expensive. Most people don't notice this and that's why companies use this way to maximize profits.
1456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 09, 2021, 08:17:27 AM
I was most annoyed by the Hoffenheim vs Schalke match. Schalke played very well at the beginning and took a quick 0-2 lead, but after that they played the same poor performance as they have all season. This team has amateur level, nothing more. The match then ended 4-2 for Hoffenheim. This is not only embarrassing but also distortion of competition in my view.
I was annoyed too seeing Schalke "winning" in the first half and I was relieved finding out that Hoffenheim came back and won 4-2.

Why are you angry that Schalke was leading? I thought it was good because it showed that Schalke doesn't want to get relegated without a fight and at least they can help decide who gets relegated because they still have to play against opponents like Hertha Berlin and Cologne. After yesterday's match, I'm sure that Hertha and Cologne will each get a safe three points, which will then be a disadvantage for Bielefeld and Bremen.
1457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Or Invest ? on: May 08, 2021, 04:19:49 PM
i have different way with my investment in crypto market. 80% balance used for mid or long term investment , and 20% left used for futures trading. from futures trading i a trying to earn profit for daily needs.. and i am glad its working for me, from futures trading i could earn 100$ a day and its big enough for me.
its really great idea mate, but i am sure you have good skill in trading. our long term investment would not disturb by daily needs if we can get i from futures trading. 20 % was enough allocation for us to start trading and unfortunately its not work for me, i a still have no enough knowledge to start it.

Trading in crypto is more or less skill-independent because there are so many factors you can't influence. At most, you can have a good intuition about certain projects and their future prospects, otherwise most of the success of crypto investors is due to luck.

1459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you expect the Altcoin rally? on: May 08, 2021, 12:29:33 PM
The problem with Doge is that it currently has a very high inflation. It will decrease in the next decades but demand need to increase at least at the same level as news coins to hold the price. I doubt it will happen in the long term.
1460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What projects do you have under your eye? on: May 07, 2021, 09:54:07 AM
What is that project that you think can really be useful in our day to day?

Waves.

Not on the radar of many, but in terms of technology and already implemented use cases, it is the only competitor that can hold a candle to Ethereum. Many promise this, but Waves does. The price development of the last weeks and months also speak a clear language. The Waves price has increased many times over compared to Bitcoin, Ethereum and other projects.
