Cheesy

Usually taking an investment advice from others is not the best idea. Everyone also pursues their own interests with advice, which do not always have to correspond to your interests. That's why I would always do my own research. And there is no way to get rich quickly, but only over time. Most here didn't get rich overnight with crypto either, but by holding their Bitcoins and other crypto for years, even when times were bad for crypto. That's the core of success, not which coin do I need to invest in to achieve financial freedom tomorrow.

Newbies and those who have the brag attitude in them this is for you, don't ever and ever talk about crypto to people who know where you lives, that includes your neighbors because you will be marked, crypto is a like Fiat, if anyone wants to rob for Fiat bank is the way but crypto? You keep your keys safe at home, when criminals know this you are in for some trouble

I agree with you, especially in times when crypto is gaining so much value. I mean you don't tell people you have many ounces of gold at home either. But on the other hand, I can understand people who have become wealthy overnight through their crypto investments. It's part of the human DNA to mess around with it. But it must be clear that this can also have consequences and become dangerous.

"The Dogefather
SNL May 8"

Really? When we were first using Dogecoin in 2013 this guy had no idea about it and now he calls himself the Dogefather just because he is rich and bought tons? It's all market manipulation folks, wake up! The only Dogefather is Jackson Palmer the guy who created the coin.

How do you know he had no idea about Dogecoin in 2013? Right, he never said anything about it, but there are also a lot of people here who believe that Elon Musk is behind Satoshi Nakamoto. Elon Musk has already denied this several times, but the fact that there are quite a few people here who believe that Elon had already developed Bitcoin before 2008 also allows the theory that he already knew Doge five years later.
1486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Communities on: April 30, 2021, 08:50:22 AM
Honestly, those are two fine examples. But I remember that such communities have existed since the dawn of crypto such as Sealand, an abandoned oil rig off the coast of England located in international waters, where there were plans to establish it as the first ever crypto country. There are other examples of such planning on some islands or unrecognized countries. All these attempts have failed so far.
1487  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe history repeat itself? Economic wise. on: April 29, 2021, 08:41:18 PM
Not in the same way but very similar, so my answer is yes. Capitalism is the dominant form of economy in the world and it lives on cycles that repeat themselves again and again. Not in the same way, but predictably similar.
1488  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla's Q1 SEC Reveale holding $2.48 Billion Bitcoin on: April 29, 2021, 08:39:08 PM
Why should I read the full article? You already gave us the TLDR: Tesla didn't sell their bitcoins and still hold lots of bitcoins. The dump wasn't caused by Elon.

They have already sold a few Bitcoins but only a part. Tesla's quarterly statement from two days ago, includes realized crypto profits of $101 million. Of course, that could have been Dogecoins, but Elon Musk has never confirmed that he or Tesla have invested in Doge. So it stands to reason that it must have been Bitcoin sales.
1489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: April 29, 2021, 08:36:17 PM
Definitely more entertaining matches in the Euro League today than yesterday in the Champions League. ManUnited turned the match around. In the first half, it still clearly looked like a home defeat.
Villareal also surprises. Arsenal has been disappointing not only in this match but all season. If they score another goal, everything would be open again, but they are not playing well. Maybe luck will help them.
1490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 28, 2021, 09:04:21 PM
ManCity turned the match around and won 1-2. Looks like my bet on an English final might come true. Both Chelsea and ManCity have now a very good starting position.
1491  Economy / Economics / Re: Are some too blind to see? on: April 27, 2021, 06:49:06 PM
Tesla takes profit from crypto investment and some stupid people aren't even bothered, like I always say even billionaires who invest in crypto are here for the profits no matter how long they chill and hype the coins, be smart people

Yeah, read this today when Tesla released their business figures for the last quarter. It did surprise me that Tesla recorded $101 million dollars as profit from crypto transfers on their balance sheet. That means, these profits were realized from crypto sales, even though Elon Musk tweeted "future hodl" just a few days ago. It's also not really clear if these profits come from bitcoin or also doge sales. It's kinda fishy, but as long as people believe in what Elon does, who cares!
1492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 27, 2021, 06:41:37 PM
^  That midfield screen tho.  Modric - Casemiro - Kroos.  And this is Real Madrid!  I know I said that Chelsea has the squad to win the CL but dunno..  Against Real in the semis?  It’s a tough one.  I’m now thinking Real can win the whole thing.  Zidane is clever as a fox.

Edit:  I fear for City.  With the way PSG won vs Bayern by playing pragmatically, I think they could shock City.  I know Pep almost never adapts and always plays his squads in only one way:  Possession football.  Poch has faced Pep before and won.

I’m hoping to see Real & PSG make the final, I’m not going to explain why but I’m sure you can guess Grin

Let me guess: As a Liverpool fan you don't like ManCity and Chelsea much? Tongue

Regardless of your preference, I would even bet on an English final. Chelsea has been very stable since Tuchel became coach and has a good chance of advancing if they score goals. PSG was very lucky against Bayern, so they didn't convince me. ManCity convinced me more.

Next game : Gladbach - Bilefield and I think Gladbach will score 3 goals today.

Wow, good foreshadowing! Gladbach leads 3-0 after just 18 minutes. However, the probability that it will remain at these three goals in the game is low. If you bet on at least three goals, then congratulations already now! Cheesy Embolo, Thuram and Bensebaini scored.

1496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and BSC on: April 25, 2021, 02:47:57 PM
One of the reasons why binance smart chain becomes this big right now is because ethereum gas fee is very high and this force some projects to switch to BSC but what do you think will happen once ethereum gas fee goes lower in near few months? Will BSC faced same fate as binance DEX? Or BSC will remain the better option over ethereum?
The only reason of popularity of BSC is ETH high gas fee. If this problem is solved, then people will come back to ETH platform and BSC will lose into oblivion. ETH gas price has already started declining. In the last few months the gas price has not been seen below 100 gwei but now it has come down to below 50 gwei. It will decrease further in the next few weeks.

Agree! BSC would not be that successful if ETH fees would not be that high as they are. Also Binance subsidizes the use of their blockchain with very cheap fees. However, as described in a previous post, the Binance blockchain is not really decentralized what refrains me of using it.

Leipzig leads 1-0 against Stuttgart and has scored one of the fastest goals in the second half. Haidara scored just 18 seconds after the restart to give Leipzig the lead. Watching the match live on TV and Leipzig has deserved the lead.
1498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GAS fees on the ethereum network are slowly falling on: April 25, 2021, 10:27:41 AM
This is not surprising, because even currently the number of transactions is slightly decreasing, therefore the transaction fees are also decreasing. This is certainly also related to the price correction in crypto at the moment. The fees can quickly shoot up again, should the price of Ethereum and crypto rise again.
1499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 25, 2021, 10:22:39 AM
Yes, it was something for sure. And Dortmund actually got a red card in the 59th minute. After that, I thought that Wolfsburg would have taken the control of the game and made a comeback. But they were really bad at scoring and Dortmund even scored their second goal in such condition.  Cheesy  As we are in the last 3 weeks of the league, there is a huge race for the 3rd place among Wolfsburg (57 pts), Frankfurt (56 pts) and Dortmund (55 pts).

I would have liked a better performance from Wolfsburg as well, but Dortmund did great. And with Haaland they have one of the best strikers. Once he picks up the pace, it's hard to stop him. The yellow red card for Bellingham was justified. These were no serious fouls, but two very unnecessary ones. He also lacks experience in such situations, he is only 17 years old.
1500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: April 25, 2021, 10:20:09 AM
Chelsea could really do a great job if they choose to give importance to counter-attacks. Because I assume Real Madrid will have the control of the game most of the time. Even getting a draw would be advantageous for Chelsea.

After Tuchel became Chelsea coach, the team has improved extremely defensively, but the offense is still the problem. Without the strong defense Chelsea could not have won last six of seven games, because these were always very close, often only 1-0. Real has had problems in the defense again and again this season, that could be the big chance for Chelsea, if they manage to stand compact at the back again and use the counterattacks in front.
