C:\Users\a\Desktop\PhoenixMiner_5.1c_Windows>pause Press any key to continue . . . Could be a riser problem ? I was receiving the same error when I had my RX 5700 XT GAMING OC on a test bench plugged directly into the MOBO, so I don't think it is a riser issue. I can't confirm it, but it *seemed* to occur whenever GPU Memory Junction Temperature hit 110 degrees (add -hstats 2 to your bat file to display Tmem temp). I think 110 is when the card starts to throttle and that throws this error for whatever reason in PhoenixMiner. I bumped my -fanmin up to 40 and now my tmem is running at a "cool" 102 degrees. Haven't had the aclwritetomem issue since. I have this same issue with my RX 5700 XT gigabyte gaming oc (with igors lab mod, no mpt file loaded), I already increased my fan speed to 80% to see much lower memory junction temperature (after 80% fan speed, 80-85C). It's a hardware (GPU) issue, as i swapped that card for another working one and the problem dissapeared, (and of course it started failing in the new rig that was working fine before). It's not about the risers, drivers, temperatures, or mobo/OS settings. RMA that card.

My rig is running 26 hours straight now. https://www.techpowerup.com/download/visual-c-redistributable-runtime-package-all-in-one/I've had the same problem a few times already, but updated the driver to the latest version and also decreased slightly the memory and for now it seems OK. I'm having the same issue, and as a last resort before RMA... how do you set lower than 1750 for mem freq?? This Asrock 5700XT Taichi wont go lower than that, and fails with that error even at stock memory frequency. (For the record: The card worked fine for one month before this error. Normal temps, less than 110w power usage)

For mem speed lower than 1750 you'll have to mod your bios. Google brings up a lot of interesting reading stuff: https://www.google.com/search?q=rx+5700+bios+mod+mining&oq=rx+5700+bios+mod

Thanks for the Google link. None of those results talk about memory underclocking I've already modded bios with RBE and MPT. But i have no info on tunning the MPT frequency tab (Memory DPMs)

Has anyone ever tried to run amd and nvidia stable on the same rig?
I was running 6 rx 580 perfectly, however I added a 1080Ti and after 2 days running it crashed (black screen) leaving no trace of the cause apparently.
yes I do. should be no problem. I have polaris vega and pascal (and 5700 too actually) in same rigs. works fine. also I always set my volts for AMD independently of miner apps

you may try checking out amd memory tweak thread. it may give you some ideas?

I'm having trouble getting 5.1c to work with rx5600xt mixed with polaris 4xx-5xx is there something I'm doing won't says can't create buffer for the navi card makes no sense to me I know Phoenix miner says it works with 5700 cards but does it not work with 5600xt or is it because my rig is a mix of polaris and Navi?

I have one launch file for 5600XT (with voltage and memory speed + voltage) and another one for RX570 that I control with AMDmemorytweak.

mixed GPUs is not the issue. make sure you have malloc variables set, have enough virtual ram, and configured the cards properly. overdriventool is recommended

there is nothing to fix, since this is not a breakdown, but you need to insert a monitor emulator as always, it's time to know this since you have been since 2014
From 2014 to 2016 i had a Sapp 7950/280x farm.. 2016 to present Aorus 1070's .. No need for vga plugs, no unstable drivers.. and profitable mining until today (eth 30mhs/125w). Not a single regret being on the green side. But 5700xt's are worth a try and i got a nice deal on Asrock Taichis. back to the subject.. I used a VGA/DVI adapter with some resistors back then, whats used nowadays in the digital connectors for monitor emulator?? thanks for your answer! edit: answering myself: https://www.headlessghost.com/these are much cheaper at amazon. 1 two pack is 8.99 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074NNZYW4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

please remove old drivers and update to latest at https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/at time of writing the current version is 456.38 - Release Date: Thu Sep 17, 2020 Driver version in that case does not matter. PM5.0e works stable. Just for experiment I installed the lastest driver. Mining speed was decreased. After rollback to PM5.0e I still have error 999. So looks like something with hardware. May be I should update overclocking values.

Anybody has played with overclocking settings using MSAB and provided by PM? I'm interesting in GTX1070. Can I use the same parameters from MSAB in PM overcrocking congif or they will be other ones?

Hello,
Currently i am using PhoenixMiner, to mine eth/etc on nicehash.
I got blindsided because of the DAG today, i could mine ETH but not etc because of the DAG, i was using PhoenixMiner 4.9c.
I updated to 5.1c and now everything works fine.
I did some benchmarks and found out that PhoenixMiner 5.1c can mine ETC until 23/NOV/2020 and ETH until 19/JAN/2021 (EPOCH: 388). From 389 onwards it crashes.
Will i have to update phoenix miner again (if there is a new version) on 23/NOV/2020 to continue mining ETC on nicehash?
Also can you add the max epoch until you can mine Ethereum in the Readme please?
Thank you!
