New  version: 2.7.4, 23rd August 2012
I knowh you have scrypt... but 274 on scrypt on p2pool still not counting "Q:" correctly (stuck on 1 no matter of longppols and new blocks).
Using your latest binary form #1 post. Win7 32.

Yep, looks like the counter is broken just in scrypt mode.
Update: not stuck, just counting... something ;] E: is hitting the roof ;]

In that case then, it's not a bug, but more a sign of the combination of extended rolltime support and mining on a low difficulty pool.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Pool rotate is broken in 2.7.4 (don't know about 2.7.2/3 was working in 2.7.1)
Have it set up to rotate every 20 mins. All pools are shown as alive, but it hasn't moved off pool 0 for 1h 10m.

Curious...
I stopped pool 0 and now it seems to have gone into some kind of load-balance mode. Getting shares submitted to all the remaining pools.

This is just a guess, but maybe you need to enable serial port redirection on the RDP connection in order to have access to the serial ports while remoted in.  This wouldn't make a lot of sense, as you don't need access to the serial ports on the client you are connecting from, and I would expect it to cause problems, but it might be worth trying in spite of those things.

ETA:  I have no BFL experience, and I am operating under the assumption that you have made BFL devices work on other Windows boxes.  If not, you are probably simply doing something wrong, in which case RDP isn't relevant.

Sometimes rdp Shares the com1 over rdp.
I habe Problems with my gpu's if i use rdp.
To manage those maschinen i use teamviewer without any Problems and no need of Dummy-Plug in multi GPU maschines

Yeah looks like it's off. The new "balance" strategy should have a similar effect in the meantime.

Hi!

 Is this the best for 7970's:

Code:
"intensity" : "11",
"vectors" : "2",
"worksize" : "128",
"kernel" : "diablo",
"gpu-engine" : "550-1000",
"gpu-fan" : "0-75",
"gpu-memclock" : "150",
"gpu-memdiff" : "0",
"gpu-powertune" : "0",
"gpu-vddc" : "0.000",

"retry-pause" : "5",
"scan-time" : "60",
"temp-hysteresis" : "3",

?

 Or should I use MEM @ 250 and a different worksize, or is it fine?

Thanks!

vectors 1, worksize 64, kernel poclbm - these are the defaults it will set if you set nothing and are best for 7970
gpu-memdiff -150, , intensity 9 (11 only on linux)
You cannot set memory to 250 on a 7970 with cgminer, only unofficial overclocking tools on windows can do this.

In that case do this first:
export GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
and then you can set intensity to 11 as well Smiley

On network delays 2.7.4 seems to not bleed shares to my backup pool. I am showing 600Mhahs on pool 0 with pool not providing work fast enough. Using a BFL single with 864 bitstream. Not throttling and no HW errors. If the pool it is on is able to handle the load then it will hit 860 and stay at greater then or equal to 859. What can I do to help track it down as an issue with eclipsemc seems to be causing it and it will likely get fixed fast enough?

Edit: stupid question restarted with debug on. Sadly display debug would have likely shown me sooner.
Edt: Edit: Output shows http error couldnt rewind something. errors and rpc errors. Wish I would have grabbed a screenshot as it may be more help.

- Pick worksize 256 with Cypress if none is specified.

I wondered why recent git versions have been slower on my 5870, about 414 vs. 421 Mhash/s. Using worksize 128 brought it back to the old speed. (Using fglrx 11.12 and SDK 2.5)
Yeah sorry, it seemed that most people using 58x0 were using very low memory speeds and 2.1 sdk which does better with worksize 256.

Well, my other 5870 uses slower memory, and worksize 256 actually makes it faster Smiley Which is odd, because in the past I have experimented with different worksizes, but I did not use cgminer then. (The first 5870 does not allow memory downclocking for some reason.)

Anyway, thanks for the quick reply, I'll see if I have any loose change to send you Wink

Do you have --failover-only enabled? If so, don't, if you want shares to leak.
