Its maybe a stupid question, but can I mine anything with my RX550 2G cards? (Except cryptonight)
So far, I mine Monero, but last Months, the diff jumped up, and I cant be in plus.
My rig with 6 cards need only 250W from the wall, and the cost is only 0,05 usd/kW for me.
At Moneros 40-50B diff, that was ok, because the rig work 2500H/s on CryptonightV8 (2700 was on V7), but now, at 100B diff, I am on Zero.
Can my cards with only 2G memory mine anything else, with a profit or I must just sell them somehow?

I do not understand why Claymore is far behind as a developer in recent times than his colleagues like Phoenixminer, Bminer and NBminer, Finminer and Nanominer all use a devfee of 0.65% and Claymore is many times slower than the mentioned miners and much higher Devfee and with SSL what often crashers

I got no issue with my miner, my internet connection is super stable and my hashrate is at a constant 170mh/s, do you have any idea why the current hashrate fluctuates so much ?

That isn't possible. They both use a DAG-file and it is impossible to create it twice for almost identical coins - ETH and ETC - (for the same algorithm; dagger hashimoto for example). Dual mining is used for different algorithms only.

you can only run 2 different bat files, for example having a rig with 6 cards, 3 cards mining ETH and the other 3 cards ETC, by adding in one bat file this ->

Guys, is any dual mining worth these days? Which dual coin is the most profitable, could be any of you so kind and share some experience with me? I used to dual mine DCR, then XVG, but these coins are useless for GPU mining today and a big mining farm generate just few dollars a month. Thanks for your help!

Moat of dual minable coins are now moned by asic machines, so is worthless to mine it wih your gpu
You can make a custom dual to mine ZIL (Ziliqa), it’s a “green” dual, power efficient

i am about to smash one of my mining rigs to bits. it's perfectly stable all day, but freezes or shuts down during the night. so i'm losing hours of mining time each 24 hours. stupid problem. i tried different risers. setting higher virtual memory. temps are fine as i've installed much higher rmp fans on all the 6 cards. they never go above 75. during the day i have the garage door open and the ystay around 55/60. 75 is not high enough to cause freezing. as i said they mine all da yever yday fine. it's jus tat nioght when i'm asleep. it's like it knows i'm not watching

I've got the same problem last year, and since then I've added to my bat config

it restarts my miner every 60 minutes and no problems at all anymore

Thanks! But what do you mean by "custom dual"? So it is not mineable with Claymore Dual miner? Please, could you share some info about it?

No is not minable with Clay, but you normally run Clay, even in dual, and start ZIL mining
You set a start pow / stop pow mining procedure
Approx every 2 hours your miner will stop, 1-2 minutes will mine ZIL and than start again mining with Clay

In the folder where is the ZIL miner allocated you have to put 3 different bat files, here is my example:

ok so i unplugged 3 of the cards that i thought might be causing it. i had 3 card going for a few hours yesterday so i deleted all old log files. i left it over night and came down to it stopped again and a whole line of log files in the bat file. i don't know how to read the logs. or what to look for.

it looks like i'm going to have to run 1 card at a time to see which one is crapping out. psu wise i have 1 card and the motherboard and ssd running off a 1000w psu. and 5 cards running off a 1200w server psu so i don't see it being that??
