Hi
I've been testing version 14.5 beta
Asrock motherboard H110 pro btc + with 12 gpus works fine.
Motherboard asrock h81 pro btc with 6 gpus does not start the miner.
Someone more a few pages back in the forum had commented that it did not work with asrock h81
A great advance Claymore !!
Regards
It works just fine!

It works just fine! I'm probably wrong, looking more calm now I think it has to do with the Secure boot of the bios When I have time I will bios by bios deactivating. I edit the previous message.

Curious to know if anyone else has a Hynix mem Sapphire RX580 8GB Nitro+ and is getting anything more than 27MH/s out of it? I have tried all 6 straps and none of them have yielded any performance past 27MH/s
Edit: NM I reflashed a "Stock" bios from another 580 I had and it runs better but only maxing out at 32.5MH/s with -strap 5. Strap 6 crashes it so I am satisfied for now.

So I'm rocking 8 GTX 1070 Founders Edition cards. (Driver 245.31) I'm actually using Awesome Miner with Claymore 14.5.
My settings are +50 Core / +775 Memory / 75% Power Limit / 80C Temperature Limit / Fan Speeds set to auto.
I set -strap 4 -sintensity 30 and my results are ~270 which is around 34MH/s for each card. Not bad. Not quite the increase that I was expecting though.
One strange thing that I had noticed though, about 5 minutes in I start to get a NVML error and then my performance drops like a rock to about 29MH/s on some cards.
1198 NVML: cannot get fan speed, error 999 (an internal driver error occurred)
It's been running for 8 minutes and I've lost 10MH.
Still playing around with it though.

With claymore you mean you run EthDcrMiner64.exe with admin rights or just a .bat? Try activating it in the file properties.
Yeah thats help to me thanks! All the time Im try to run bat file in admin mode without success. I put now admin rights on EthDcrMiner64.exe and its work fine! Two things I need to mention, one is that windows run in test mode is that normal? Other is when claymore starts they starts in one window after few seconds another window poped up and started to run correctly claymore in another. Is that normal?

The help file says -minspeed -50,should be -minspeed 50. Exclude ( -) in the hashrate you need!!!. In 14.5 version hashrate on rx vega 64 extended 55.5(eth).

Or you can add a full path to your miner in your .bat file, and you will not get 2 windows that way if you got OCD like me and want everything to be perfect.

I have some rx470's Samsung, Elpida and Hynix, using rxboost my rigs are crashing what driver are you using and are your cards bios modded or stock? I use bios modded straps, not the freaky on the fly, looks like some of the gpus already bricked with this when i go back some pages here. Elpida and hynix the same, 32.7 to 32.9mh/s with rxboost and phoenixminer. what rxboost are you combining here? the rxboost is on Clay or what am I missing? Update: rx474 and rx478 sasmung custom strap very loose rxboost + phoenixminer 33,9mh/s stable for 24h now, on cöaymore its 33mh/s now

hey guys, anybody know what is the issue with this? Im already try to disable secure boot in bios but not helped. If Im try to run claymore as admin it hangs. Any suggestion or solution for this? My hashrate still the same as before version, version 12 for example... Here is the preview: https://ibb.co/4T8TBfpDDU and install the latest drivers, add an exclusion for the folder Claymore in Windows Defender and try to execute the miner using CMD (Run as Administrator), cd in the Claymore folder and execute it with correct parameters as in the bat file.

Guys, I've been away from the "hobby" for a while, since I had my rigs running fine, but some problems are popping up, and I was wondering what is the best driver and afterburner for rx480 and rx470 nitro+ mining edition?

The latest drivers will do just fine. (Don't forget to DDU and set virtual memory to 20GB+, also try RX boost for a little more hashrate.) Instead of using afterburner, try overdriverNtool - use it to find sweet settings spot for clock speeds and voltages. If you want to push them a little more, use memory tweaker to tweak memory timings.

Proof youself, you just need to increase core mhz to archive this result with applied rxboost, no need to change mem mhz compared to without rxboost, you just need more core so that the refresh interval makes sense. If you run to low core rxboost makes No sense. The magic is apply rxboost + more core that it can compute it. .
