2281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your opinions about simulated reality games? on: April 03, 2022, 02:18:25 AM
I'm not sure if it's trusted or not, but I think the simulation means they're doing an experiment where they can set up everything they need. If we talk about the result, perhaps it was predicted before the game that team A or B should win based on their data, so they will try to arrange it all. But it could be different from the reality they will see later. But I guess it's still not worth it because it's just a simulation, and it's better if we don't try it. Maybe if you're curious, you can give it a try to see what the simulation looks like.

I think when we hear about simulated realty games, the first thing that pops into my head are pre-performed games that are already done. It just so happens that the company or platform streaming would choose which game to showcase or to show in the media.

Like what most have mentioned, this kind of practice is subject heavily to manipulation since games are already decided on their part. If word spills out that manipulation and game rigging were to be done, then this could cost heavily on the reputation of the website.

I personally recommend avoiding simulated reality games. Though you can at least try it, but I advised against it.
2282  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a place in the world you could live like a king via sig campaigns? on: April 02, 2022, 06:54:38 PM
I think first word country people need to travel a bit and realize how cheap living could be.
Some do, and I certainly would if I had enough money.  Unfortunately I don't, nor do I have anyone to travel with (sadly).  I'd love to check out India and the surrounding countries, and some countries in South America as well--Brazil and Belize in particular.

I believe you should consider South East Asian countries, which are typically third world countries such as the Philippines, where the cost of living is low because renting a small boarding house here was around $40/month (this is a decent one, you will have your own room a shared kitchen and bathroom), renting a whole house here is mostly $200, with the bills sometimes being free and also wifi depending on your landlord, but the problem is very low salary, with the minimum wage being only $1.25 an hour. I saw a lot of Americans visiting our country because of the climate and also they knew that Filipinos are very accommodating to visitors.

Like what I also previously mentioned, the cost of living in the Philippines is relatively cheap compared to other South East Asia countries. Unfortunately, the minimum wage of our country is around p537.00 (~$11)/day and majority of the people are below the average income median. With this in mind, lots of tourists visit the country in which there are also foreigners who migrate and live in this country.

Since in essence, the value of currency is relative per country, you could say that participating into campaign signatures are privileges that our citizens seek. Having that convenience of working online and at the same time earning/investing is a blessing to everyone in our country.
2283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goodbye, privacy, goodbye, it was nice while it lasted. on: April 02, 2022, 11:28:13 AM
I kinda had a feeling that this vote will go this way that is bad for crypto. I guess there still is a chance this won't happen any time soon because it has to go trough a bunch of other bureaucracy stuff in order to go trough. However, I really do think that unfortunately this is the future for crypto in the EU. Maybe a distant future (because of bureaucracy), but definitely a future.

This is very unfortunate since such regulations go against the vision of Satoshi, which is to create a freedom of transactions without any government/third-party intervention in our finances. Though this may be the first step in creating the law, I hope that the bill somehow limits the power of the government to meddle with the transactions in our exchanges, etc.

Assuming that the law/s will be enacted, will there be a big impact of cryptocurrencies in their price? Will we see BTC becoming something that is stable on its price, removing its volatility and inflationary nature?
2284  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Tonik Digital Bank planning to integrate crypto services sa app nila! on: April 01, 2022, 11:57:35 PM
Mukhang may bagong player nanaman na papasok sa crypto field at kahit wala akong masyadong ideya tungkol sa kanila, it's still a good thing dahil it indirectly forces others to improve their services: PH Digital Bank Tonik on the Lookout for Crypto Partners

This is actually great news para sa bansa natin.

Quote
  • May mga Tonik users ba dito? I'm curious to know kung reliable sila or not?

I have never heard of Tonik but this news made me think about trying their services. If ever nagawa ko ito, update din ako sa thread about my personally experience with the said application and bank.
2285  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers are growing in numbers every day on Twitter, be careful out there on: April 01, 2022, 11:45:36 PM
Beware of any mining offers on Twitter that tells you to connect your metamask for daily reward its all a trap to steal your tokens or assets you store in your wallet, there is no cloud mining or whatsoever mining that will requires you to connect your metamask for daily reward, true mining is only real through the following

Asic Miner, CPU and Graphic cards (GPU).

Thank you for the reminder, OP! Given that there are numerous attempts of people scamming others by providing fake links and injected malware on mining data, this puts everyone at risk whenever they see links such as this one.

Unfortunately, there are also dozens of fake and scam wallet links in this forum being shared by new accounts in hopes of just scamming at least a person. Personally, I have reported tens to hundreds of malware links and these scammers are just persistent on being a nuisance.

I hope this post reaches to everyone who encounters free giveaways on random sites. Remember, nothing is free and there is 99% chance that they will just scam and get your funds in your wallet.
2286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi? Hypothesis with proof, reasoning, and statistical analysis on: April 01, 2022, 11:39:59 PM
TLDR; clickbaity article says that Peter Wuille is Satoshi.

Behind this misleading "proof, reasoning and statistical analysis" there's a coincidence that Peter registered in bitcointalk few days after Satoshi's last active date. Just another meaningless attempt where we try to unmask Satoshi.

Why are people so obsessed in unveiling and knowing the identity of Satoshi? Sure, he created bitcoin and the blockchain technology which changed the entirety of transactions and introduced an innovative idea of money, but I do think that nothing will happen once we find out about his true identity.

I guess in the far future, we would soon see some hints about his true identity but there is always that chance that we will never know about him. I just hope that people would stop owning and claiming that they are such person, when in fact, they are not. It just puts them at risk whenever they try to make false assumptions and claims about something.
2287  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your expectation on: April 01, 2022, 11:31:07 PM
We have heard all the news about countries deciding to make bitcoin as legal, the latest being Russia and Ukraine as they both are also in some political problem. Obviously with this new statement that has been made on bitcoin status in those countries, it could be regulated by the government.
What is your expectation of bitcoin ?

I expect that the regulation would follow and all of the prohibitions/restrictions imposed on their respective government would be unchained. Given this very unfortunate scenario, these countries would have to exercise all the means in order to revive their economy and to at least mitigate the damage brought about the war.

The beauty of cryptocurrencies in this scenario is that anyone can send donations to valid wallet address. In addition, transacting with people in these countries will be relatively easier as you bypass any third-party consensus in handling your money (plus it is unregulated).
2288  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling exploit (LEGAL) on: April 01, 2022, 11:22:06 PM
Hey i found a vulnerability in a gambling website that allows you to consistently win money.
No bs. With a bot $$$ 100k a day (can prove mathematically)
The problem is i need atleast 20k.

Are there any high rep members willing to work together on this? I just ask for shares in profits.

Ahh what a failed attempt of a 99th generation scam- this is nothing new in this forum as there are tons of similar posts like these.

Again, if there is such a loophole in gambling, then probably a person would have shared it and gamblers would become millionaires in an instant. In addition, gambling casinos would have invented and devised a way in order to combat such "exploit" if one were to exist.

A newbie, posting as someone who is well versed in gambling, is asking for a minimum of $20,000 in order to teach such "exploit." If such do exist, then why don't you do it and earn the $20,000 for yourself?
2289  Economy / Economics / Re: The economy is important for a family! on: April 01, 2022, 04:31:36 PM
teaching children how to invest is a very appropriate thing. besides studying at school they also have insight into crypto technology, in the future our children will also be able to make money by investing. as a parent, this is the best solution. Our concern for children is not only able to provide education to them, but we must also be able to guarantee their future. Apart from that, you are also investing in crypto, you can give this asset as an inheritance to your children when you are old or die.

True, children should be taught to invest so that they can be independent and train them to always be active in saving, I believe future trends and crypto will continue to improve so introducing crypto from an early age is the right step to make them not left behind when crypto is used massively.

More than teaching them to invest since it is a little bit complicated, I think it is recommended if you teach them first knowing the value of money and the ways of handling it. If they know the value of money and the painstakingly process of earning it, then they would give importance and awareness to the manner of spending their resources. Just because a family is rich does not mean that the children can purchase or get anything they want- everything has their limits.

After knowing the value of money, then you can start teaching them the basics of investing which involves the process and the reason on why we invest. From this foundation alone, then there is a good chance that they would appreciate currencies and open their idea about cryptocurrencies in the future.
2290  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Blockchain Convention 2022 on: April 01, 2022, 04:21:08 PM
For those who missed the event like me, eto yung replay:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsx823FabSw

Forward niyo na lang sa 55:30

Share your feedback kung napanood niyo na.

This is very informative- thank you very much for showing the replay link of the said cryptocurrency even. The good thing is that, may nagawang copy ng video ang nagawa kaya sa mga taong hindi nakanood, at least, may opportunity na ma-witness nila yung convention at their own convenience sa oras.

It is about time na magkaroon tayo ng mga ganitong convention dito sa bansa.
2291  Economy / Gambling / Re: how to choose best Gambling website for Gambling ? on: April 01, 2022, 09:31:01 AM
I am very new to gambling, I am facing many issues for this but I don't understand such as: RTP, house edge I don't understand these things. What  should I need to keep in mind  to choose a good gambling website?

Before choosing a gambling website to bet on, here are some of the things that you should bear in mind:

  • Does the gambling website require KYC?;
  • Does the gambling website contain positive reviews?;
  • Do they contain an active customer support service which respond relatively fast?; and
  • Have they been operating for a relatively long time?

The list that I provided contained some of the general things that you should ask yourself before fully committing. In addition, you should also do your respective research if you are comfortable with their TOS provided.
2292  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting up and trying again on: April 01, 2022, 09:18:38 AM
Unpopular opinion: sometimes giving up is the answer.

Contrary to popular belief in cryptocurrency communities, you don't necessarily need to be in this industry to succeed in life. What if you're better off investing in traditional markets? What if climbing the corporate ladder is best for you? What if starting a business is the answer?

Hmm this got me thinking: I think this can be applied if there are other opportunities for you which is better; and you chose to shut every opportunity presented since you are still pushing your current failure.

You are right, though this may be applied in a "case-to-case" basis like you mentioned. But giving up may be the better choice if there are other opportunities presented to you which is relatively better.
2293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Assumptions of People who don't know about bitcoin... Ki on: April 01, 2022, 09:04:53 AM
Seriously there are lots of people who has a limited understanding and it baffles me a lot.

I have met someone once and we are talking about cryptocurrency, there were also other people there and it was a discussion that we were all having about cryptocurrency. And this one guy kept saying that cryptocurrency is a scam because it is not centralized and doesn’t have any central authority that controls everything that happens.

Despite how hard a lot of people tried to prove to him that Bitcoin is not a scam, he still kept on with his belief that it is. But you can’t force them, everyone is free to have their own opinion.

Unfortunately, lots of people will mostly cling to their own biased opinion even if you show them facts about the claim. With people regarding cryptocurrencies, they seem to go against cryptocurrencies without even providing any reason on why they hate them- it's just plain hatred.

I just hope that these people would start opening their minds about their view on cryptocurrencies. Though there may be lots of issues that it faced before (e.g. scams and hacks of exchanges, dark web, etc.), its positive effects outweigh greatly negative impact as a whole.
2294  Economy / Reputation / Re: Beginers dream of becoming a Legendary, and my goal is Hero. on: March 31, 2022, 11:47:21 PM
Achieving any rank in this forum is a milestone in itself due to the difficulty of having and receiving merits from the users. The fact that you were able to reach Hero rank tells a lot about your skill and is a testimony that you definitely deserve such achievement.

Congratulations, OP! The feeling of achieving something due to the hard work you have painstakingly did is worth it! You managed to achieve something that 90% of the forum members cannot do, which is to be consistent and firm. I hope to see you in a legendary rank status the next time I reply to this post.
2295  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: March 31, 2022, 02:46:42 PM
That's the other term for casino. What you have searched is correct as casino is what people use to call to a place where you can play the games that a casino offer like the ones you mentioned and also a chance to earn lots of money if you are lucky enough or lose if you are e unlucky. Gambling platform is all about the site or state if you call it like that where you can choose the game you want to play and gamble. Some say that you can play in a casino that is reputable or you can play in a gambling platform that is reputable. Hope you get it now.

There is a difference between casino and online casinos; the former comprising of physical gambling establishments where you can play and communicate with other people in real-time, while the latter contemplates in an online situation where they try to at least re-create the experience you get in the former.

When you see casinos here in this forum, I think it is somehow understood that mostly contemplates online gambling websites. There are lots of online gambling platforms available in the forum and some are actually being advertised (via campaign signatures) to boost their reputation and establish themselves as a trusted online casino.

If it interests you, then you should give it a go, OP. Online casino is starting to become the new trend where physical casinos are slowly becoming obsolete due to the convenience that online gambling platforms offer.
2296  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Not happy about my first hardware wallet purchase on: March 31, 2022, 02:25:18 PM
After all the advice on hardware wallets I went out to buy a Trezor hardware wallet only to find out that it only works with very few coins, if this doesn't suck to you I don't know what will.

I personally think it is imperative to do your research before you purchase something, as this principle can be applied to every purchase you made. Given the complexity of cryptocurrencies, it is your responsibility to at least check and do some research if you have some coins which may or may not be supported fully by Trezor hardware.

More importantly, I think this serves as a warning to everyone that before you guys purchase something, make sure that everything is compatible with your coins. If it really does bother you, then convert your altcoins to a token or to another altcoin that supports the Trezor hardware.
2297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Your Kids Aware Of Bitcoin? Teach Them. on: March 31, 2022, 02:10:41 PM
Well from the question itself, I can obviously say no since I have yet to have some children but most of my family members are aware of what I am doing.

When I first entered this forum last 2017 and participated into campaign signatures, that gave me this sense of responsibility of sharing this method to my peers. Since living in a third-world country is definitely financial challenging, any form of alternative income generated through the means of convenience is welcome, especially that the current wage is here below $15/day.

Now that my friends and family members are aware, it is up to them if they want to pursue this kind of opportunity. I can only go as far as telling and explaining to them what cryptocurrencies are, but it is still their decision whether they want to further pursue it or not.
2298  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be too greed for more gains.... on: March 30, 2022, 11:59:02 PM
I want to share my experience as a newbie in crypto....I started my crypto journey in 2021, and that year is very bullish as a starter which I could gain almost $6,000 or more if only I wasn't to greed for believing it will go more higher... those  gains are almost from NFTs (games and airdropped), I didn't take profit even it reached ATH until it fall to the hell lol Grin and some are turning to rugged tokens Sad. Im too late to asked for advice here in forum ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5388154.0 ) and now its too late that I took my profit which is less than half lol.... my advice to newbies in crypto here is always take profit don't regret if it goes up, don't be too greed. stay connected here in forum for advices. Smiley

Experience is definitely the best teacher. No matter how much we advocate HODLing, until we are in that kind of situation, we will never personally feel the need and to learn from our mistakes if we did not stumble during your journey.

What happened to you OP was very unfortunate but that will serve as your backbone and foundation in investing again. Greediness can absolutely destroy your investments especially if you cashed out in a different time. While being greedy is not wrong perse, it is still better to create at least a contingency plan on how much price you are willing to stoop down before you cash them out or sell next time.
2299  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Gambling Review Site on: March 30, 2022, 11:52:58 PM

How is Stake ranked below Fortunejack? Why is 1xBit in the Top 5?

Fortunejack isn’t bad either. Stake is great. I myself is playing there but Fortunejack has built some good reputation as well. Maybe there criteria fits best for Fortunejack LOL but hell, how come 1xbit?
This proves that he is biased and that's because they are trying to monetize the site. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be. That's where GamblingBro is much different.
Some reviewer just set up their review site just to make money from their affiliate links and don't care about giving the right review they will rank high those casinos that can and will give them a good affiliate earning we should not support or even read their reviews because it's thrash BTCGOSU and Gamblingbro are still the best casino reviewers and these newbie reviewers will have a hard time establishing their reputation here if they only think of money.
That is basically the way it is, as long as they get their commission they could care less about how reliable and trusted the casino really is, honestly I doubt that a great deal of those review sites actually gambled in the casino in question and they just made up the whole review.

With this in mind then it is important to avoid those kind of review sites and instead rely on websites in which you can find the opinions of people which use the services in which you happen to be interested, and this forum is a perfect example of a site that fulfills those conditions.

Unfortunately, you are definitely right.

Lots of video reviewers are somehow micromanaged and controlled by the gambling website itself, that is why the review sometimes comes and sounds bias on their perspective. Video reviewers also say what the gambling website managers wants them to say further making the video unrealistic and bias.

If you truly want to have an honest feedback and opinion from the users, then rely on forums such as this one for your information. People here would give their unbiased opinion and they would also recommend more options/information about the website as a whole.
2300  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Worth it pa ba ang mag invest sa crypto? on: March 30, 2022, 11:31:51 PM

It all depends ding kung ano ang investment goal mo at the end of the day. If you are someone aiming to earn that sweet short-term investment, then medyo risky ito kailangan bantayan mo ang mga cryptocurrencies mo para at least mag profit ka on the end.

Who knows a few years from now, baka tumaas nanaman ang price nito at baka mag sisi nanaman akong hindi ako nag invest.
