2161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: May 04, 2022, 01:34:35 PM
Even humans do have heart attack. Horses are not giving medical care like humans.

You want horse race to be banned? Then you should want human 100 meter, others short distance and marathon races to be banned too.

If you want it to be banned, I mean hourse race, you want many other races to be banned, such as dog race. If you want that, you need to have political power. Even if you have political power, there are many chances that your proposal may not be accepted.

I think instead of wishing it to be banned, strict regulations must be followed by the organization handling the horse races.

Given that horses are animals and their natural strength has been used as a form of gambling, then it requires that governments must impose strict standards against these organizations for the welfare and care for these horses. But the fact that this kind of gambling has been around since time immemorial suggest that this will not be banned anytime soon.

Unless you can actually prove that these organizations mishandle the treatment of these horses, then I doubt that this would be removed as a form of gambling.
2162  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to get Free games in china? on: May 04, 2022, 12:05:23 PM
I am somehow confused on what you are asking but I will try to help you- since BTC has been banned in China, you are looking for an alternative to gamble/earn cryptocurrencies in your country via gambling? As far as I know, all online gambling casinos have free registration. In addition, there are others who offer freebies and bonuses upon registering- you just have to take your pick in which casino you are going to engage on.

Be careful, however, since there has been a cryptocurrency ban on your country, your IP address might be tracked down by the government. So gambling with the risks involved in your situation before fully committing.
2163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Klay Thompson @51 for NBA Finals MVP. on: May 03, 2022, 07:01:29 PM
Thus far, I believe that Klay Thompson is the most consistent on the big 3 of the Warriors. The defense was obviously focused on Curry and that will make Thompson open because he is always the first option if Curry would passed, as a result, he will generate more points easily.

So I see the odds, and it's 51, IMO, that's very tempting.

The question is, is it worth taking it?

I beg to disagree- while Klay Thompson might be one of the solid foundation of the Warriors ever since, I think Jordan Poole deserves an outstanding consideration and reward for his consistency and clutch plays.

In the first game between the Warriors vs Memphis, Poole scored 31points while also being very effective on the field. Even during the recovery phase of Klay, Poole showed his true talent and potential where he can actually dish out insane range and ball handling techniques which proved effective in the long-run. I guess Poole deserves a higher spot than Klay this season.
2164  Economy / Gambling / Re: 24casino1.bet on: May 03, 2022, 04:29:35 PM
Hi,

The casino 24casino1.bet owes me £2266 as a withdrawal.

Are you aware of any valid reasons why they withheld your funds? Because you haven't shared any kind of information yet why you are facing this problem. It will be easy for everyone to understand what this matter is if you share all the information here. If you share screenshots of how you talked to their support and how they responded to you, you will understand what kind of problem you are actually facing.

I agree with this statement- you should add more to this story as I doubt that a gambling website would withheld the funds without any legitimate or valid reason.

Like what some have mentioned, the gambling website that you engaged into is not that well-known, so it somehow carries the risk of your funds getting delayed or scammed at some point. I do recommend that you open a scam accusation thread against this gambling company and provide complete details to support your claim in order to warn other forum members in the event that this is indeed a scam gambling website.
2165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is your bitcoin hero (excluding Satoshi)? on: May 03, 2022, 03:55:58 PM
Who is your bitcoin hero?

My bitcoin hero is no other than my friend who introduced me to this forum back in 2017.

I remember the conversation we had when we were talking about watches. I told him that I wanted to purchase this $200 Seiko watch in which he approved of my taste. Since I was only a college student at that time and earning money (via part-time jobs) was not in my radar at that time, he quickly introduced me to this forum and the potential of earning BTCs every weekly by participating into campaign signatures.

Because of my friend, he opened the doors for me to purchase not only books but educational materials for my general use. I literally owe him everything- though it is kinda sad to see him being inactive in this forum.
2166  Economy / Economics / Re: Does anyone care about the environment? on: April 30, 2022, 06:29:53 PM
If you're constantly up on the news, I'm sure you're aware of the scientists stage worldwide climate change protests.

Over 1,000 scientists from 25 countries took part in the Scientist Rebellion's demonstrations over a week ago.

How does this affect on the market? Or doesn't at all? On the prices of bitcoin?

I remember there was a previous post linking climate change to the effects of BTC mining due to the immense energy that it costs. But this was quickly resolved and addressed that such does not entirely affect the climate. While heat was produced by tons of mining rigs, these are all strategically and geographically placed into locations where the heat would be offset by the natural climate of the location (e.g. before in Russia, miners would place their mining rigs in mountains, etc.).

I also doubt that the climate would necessarily effect the prices of BTC in the market. To be honest, this is the last thing that I would think of in the event of climate change as I would prioritize my safety first.
2167  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Concern on time spent my phone & pc due to crypto and btt, is this good or bad? on: April 30, 2022, 06:17:36 PM
Prior to learning about crypto and joining this forum, I never was the type to be inclined to digital devices like my phone and personal computer, recently after finding out that a big determinant to one's financial success will soon depend on the amount of information one possesses. I find bitcointalk very informative, and since my time here, I have noticed an increased time spent on both my phone and computer... is this a good habit that I'm about to begin? Or should I continue to regulate the time I spend with my phone and computer.

It depends on your general outcome of your habits. Again, these habits are linked with the stuff that you do (e.g. spending time on your computer/phone playing games, etc.). There is nothing wrong with spending or using your computer/phone if it allows you to learn from the stuff that you do. Since you mentioned that this allows you to learn more about the forum, then you do not have to worry about developing this habit too much.

What makes it negative is when you channel this kind of habit into several stuff that does not equate to any productivity. For example, there are people who spend countless hours using the computer, just casually browsing through social medias, etc.
2168  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a game you would like to see in an online crypto casino? on: April 30, 2022, 06:08:03 PM
Hey Bitcointalkers,

What games do you like to play (mobile, board games, easy game with friends, etc.) that you would love to see put into an online casino for real betting?

There have been a lot of successful yet simple games in online casinos like Heads or Tails, Over/Under, and more. We are looking to see what games you guys love and wonder if we can turn them into an online betting game!

I would love board games that for example the Monopoly game to be offered which should not be that difficult to do.It should be fun to play against other people online while trying your luck and why not win some money if you are lucky.
The reason why these kind of games are not yet being implemented is because with the offerings that casinos have right now it is enough for people to be happy with those.

The problem with implementing this kind of game is the number of players and the time of reaping the rewards. As we all know, (or at least majority of us), a game of monopoly could last for hours given that it makes you acquire/purchase property where players would be sucked and dried out of their resources. If a gambling website can at least simplify this process, then it is more than welcomed if they could add this kind of game as it can be really interesting and entertaining at the same time.

Personally, I would like to see game where it involves some first-person shooting. I know it may sound outrageous but I hope these gambling websites can at least simply and look for a game that can be compatible with this kind of set-up and suggestion.
2169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where Bitcoin has been googled the most? on: April 30, 2022, 05:56:02 PM
It's ironic that the No. 1 nation on the list accepted Bitcoin as a legal tender, while in the second Bitcoin is not accepted by the government and actually is banned in bank transactions. This goes to show that the while government acceptance helps to make citizens more receptive of Bitcoin, the citizens can choose to adopt it regardless.

I do not know much about the other countries on the list, I have read that Switzerland is friendly to Bitcoin. And in Canada, there was an incident recently where the gov't was freezing accounts, could that play a part in the search boasts?

I do not find it ironic at all given that the people of El Salvador are most likely curious about the effects of accepting BTC as a form of legal tender to their country. In addition, there are also some people there who are unaware of the existence of cryptocurrencies, so it is but obvious but for them to search about it to know on why their government adopted such change to their current transaction system.

I am surprised that the countries in Asia only included Singapore on where BTC was googled the most. What happened to China and their support?
2170  Economy / Gambling / Re: Help setting up an online crypto casino on: April 29, 2022, 07:48:48 PM
I want to dig into it and see if it's plausible, possible, feasible, and even worth the effort. Anyone interested in doing some research with me let me know

Your question seems to be very incomplete- in what ways do you need guidance or support from the people in the forum? Are you looking for someone who knows how to work on the administration/management side; or are you looking for someone who knows how to code and create a gambling website to your standards?

Since the question is incomplete, let me answer you in the most general form. In the event that you have to make your own gambling website, do not forget to check the laws of your country for licenses available. In addition, you must comply with all the laws in order for your operation to be as smooth as possible.

For the features, make sure that you have an active customer support service that can cater to requests done by the players. Without this crucial and important factor, then your gambling website may either make or break from this.
2171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin continues to decline, what causes it? on: April 29, 2022, 07:12:27 PM
This decline of bitcoin is not perminant, and yes its also painful but maybe next some days bitcoin will be in good position because old traders and investors knows very well how to earn From Crypto currency so they are investing more and more money in the markest and very soon Crypto market will be stable and people who will be involved at this time they will be enjoying good profit very soon .

This kind of movement is normal in the cryptocurrency world. Last week, the prices of BTC increased by around 5% but it slowly plummeted back to its current price (~$38,000). Again, what drives its price on the market is the law of demand and supply- lots of people are selling BTCs without some purchasing it on the market.

If I were in your shoes, I would consider this as an opportunity to acquire more BTCs in the process for long-term investment. Given that BTC is inflationary in its nature, you can actually take advantage of it by acquiring more and sell it on a later date in a price comfortable to your standards.
2172  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most trusted casinos on BTalk on: April 29, 2022, 06:34:43 PM
Hello there. Basically title says it all. The question is targetting veterans on this forum with more experience than me.
If you could take a few minutes and write a list of the most trusted casinos, I would appreciate a lot.
I'm pretty new here and from what i've seen so far, 1xbit, bitstarz and a few more are not really accepted in the gambling community because they have bad reputation. This is for my website that will come out in a few weeks Grin

Thank you!

You might want to checkout all of the gambling casinos that are currently engaged into campaign signatures.

The fact that these websites can avail such premium for advertising means that they have a steady flow of income through their channel. Since they can afford users advertising their gambling platform, it heavily implies that they are serious on their business. Like what some have mentioned, these gambling casinos take years to build their reputation from scratch.

Personally, I would recommend the following gambling websites:

  • Fortune Jack;
  • Duelbits;
  • Roobet
  • Cryptogames;
  • Blackjack.fun; and
  • Stake
2173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥2022 Pandemic Popular Items🔥 on: April 29, 2022, 03:29:15 PM
Out of curiosity, I visited the gambling website and noticed some features that warrants some attention.

Firstly, the UI of the general webpage is somehow incomplete and half-done. If you are looking for people to bet on your gambling website, then make it more appealing and pleasing to the eye. Second, you have to promote your website by at least offering some incentives. With this kind of design, I really doubt that someone would actually bet on your gambling casino. Lastly, I hope that everything goes well with all the transactions since this somehow rings a red flag on my end.

Objectively speaking, I really wish you the best but you also have to put some effort on these things. I wouldn't call and conclude that your gambling website is a "scam" by any stretch but you have to make it more convincing.
2174  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Features of fake/scam AirDrops on: April 29, 2022, 02:20:33 AM
There have been alot of scam project now...

Three features of fake airdrop.

1: any airdrop that "have no end" they often runs for 2/3 months, majority are not true.  real airdrops don't last more than a month.

2:  95% of airdrop given to "all participants" is not real. Normal airdrop is mainly for a limited number for top referrals.

3: Any airdrop promising you high amount of their token equivalent  $5000, $10,000 or even more without through referral bonus may not be real. Real airdrops don't give such amount, unless you are claiming on  their site where you pay gas fee,

I appreciate you for providing more information and tips on how to avoid fake/scam AirDrops in the internet.

As someone who has never participated in AirDrops before, this post is very informative into warning people what they are entering into. AirDrops may seem attractive especially that you receive some free coins from a designated project. Unfortunately like you mentioned, this is also an avenue for scammers as they always take advantage of people who are misinformed about airdrops in general.
2175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia to ban Pokies on: April 28, 2022, 06:20:25 PM
Australia have more gambling machines per person than anyone else in tbe whole world. Right now an interesting event is happening, there have been numerous calls now to remove all those machines from places like the PUBS and the CLUBS.

According to a news report, the slot machines are not just confined to any casino or any usual place, right now apparently in Australia there is no such law, the machines are everywhere an insight into what might be causing tbe leading probelms with increasing addiction there.

As far as I can remember, there was a post/thread posted asking about the status of gambling rates per country and Australia ranked the first among all other countries. This speaks on how people and businesses can take advantage due to the silence of laws on gambling regulations. They can just set-up any slot machines even outside casino establishments which can therefore attract and corrupt the young audience into trying out this very addictive and destructive habit.

I just hope that their government balances the interest of gambling revenue and morality of their citizens. If this goes out of control, who knows what would be the damage long-term for their citizens and people.
2176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 28, 2022, 06:06:58 PM
The final game between GSW and Nuggets wast just very thrilling to watch. During the first three (3) quarters, Denver was leading the scoreboard where they took advantage of the turnovers made by the Warriors. But on the last quarter, Warriors was able to bounce back and secure the victory by the efforts combined of Curry and Thompson.

Just also want to give a huge props for Jokic for putting up monstrous and dominating numbers on the paint. With 25+ points and 20+ rebounds and 9+ assists, no one in the league can put those numbers and be effective on the paint. Warriors may not be able to control the Joker, but they took advantage of their "strength in numbers."
2177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon and and how this "dude" could effect bitcoin in the future? on: April 28, 2022, 05:55:19 PM
You will agree Elon has really inspired many people to bitcoin his pro or against bitcoin tweet directly reflect the red and green candles on bitcoin charts.

With owning this huge platform of Twitter he can either break it or make it. I think.

Let if adopts "doge" as some kind of default crypto currency for Twitter it will be huge move and might effect bitcoin bigtime.

Or let say if come to sense and realizes the truth and embrace bitcoin I can't imagine how huge the green candle will be.

Hmm interesting observation- that could be a possibility where Elon may use some sort of feature on Twitter where Dogecoins can be generated or traded at the same time. I think this is a sign that people should at least acquire/purchase some Dogecoins since the empire of Elon Musk is slowly increasing and getting bigger. Who knows on what purchase or acquisition will he go next- but one thing is sure; it's that his support on Dogecoin implies that he will be utilizing it on his projects.

I just hope that this would bring a positive feedback for cryptocurrencies in general, and not just in Dogecoin. Even though he may be against BTC, I hope that it brings positive effects for cryptocurrencies.
2178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Central bank and it ignorance on Bitcoin on: April 28, 2022, 02:52:10 PM
what are the possibilities of central banks governors winning the war against the decentralized finances or will the central banks looses it relevancy when Bitcoin finally become a global currency.
Bitcoin is already being adopted globally and about your first question, that's why they intervene and impose or suggest a ban that's related to it. There is one thing that they're forgetting about this matter. There's no way to stop the global adoption of bitcoin, they might ban it from the north but it's going to be adopted and freely used in the south. And that's the actual thing that's happening today, bitcoin's community is going bigger and bigger and they can't stop and deny that fact.

I think the fact that the Central Banks of the respective countries globally does not affect any strict regulation or implementation says a lot about the ongoing effect of cryptocurrencies in their country.

Like what you guys mentioned, we cannot deny the fact that cryptocurrencies may be the future of our transactions. These banks recognize its potential effects on the masses; that is why they remain silent up to this point of creating strict regulations controlling cryptocurrencies. I really think that they are just waiting for the perfect opportunity for a wide-scale production.
2179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where does your country stand ? on: April 27, 2022, 06:00:21 PM
Statistically, the list of countries with the most bets might show countries like America, UK, and Australia. And I think it's an accepted fact, even countries where gambling is not considered good or likes to gamble.
and from some countries it is mentioned not the country where I live, because traditional or real gambling in the country where I live is strictly prohibited and if caught will be punished except online gambling.

This list is interesting- I was expecting India or China to be the first or at least be included in the top 10 but most of the countries that are listed came from first world countries. I do think that there is a difference between the variance between number of gambling rates vs revenue generated in gambling.

In the Philippines, as far as I can remember, gambling activities moderated and regulated by the Philippines bring the 3rd most revenue in the country. That is also the reason on why lots of gambling casinos have steadily been increasing over the past years, helping boosting the economy.
2180  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is the end of Fiat money at hand? on: April 27, 2022, 05:40:54 PM
There are many types of stable coin such as USDT, DIA, BUSD, TUSD, UST etc. And most people uses this insted of fiat money, will it be that later in the future countries will no longer use Fiat money but these electronic currency?

Like what I previously mentioned, I doubt that we will be seeing a shift to "electronic currency" or cryptocurrencies in the near future.

The technology of a country must adhere to such system before it can be implemented. In addition, countries also must globally accept and view such currency as the universal currency that must be circulated throughout the world. Given that majority of the countries are still underdeveloped, this kind of shift would be too costly to adapt at the current setting.

Again, why can't fiat and cryptocurrencies co-exist? Why does it have to be that cryptocurrencies SHOULD replace fiat? They harmonize pretty well and they can exist at the same time without being too much of a problem in today's era.
