Do you have a non mega link? or is this miner available on github, the file contaminated and contain Trojan virus, hope that you upload it with other provider like github. Thanks

Just a report on v1.7.1

GPU   : RX 470/480/570/580
Driver : 18.6.1
OS     : Windows 64
Algo   : Haven

ON GPU with 4GB memory (single thread), the hashrate is highest compared to other miner and stable.  Kiss Kiss

ON GPU with 8GB memory (dual threads), if lucky the hashrate is the highest compared to other miner. (about 50 more)
To reach the highest hasrate(1xxx), we must not touch the rig after start but:
1. if we are not lucky, it may not reach the highest hashrate, it is only 8xx-9xx
2. unstable if we remote the computer using teamviewer, "sometimes" the hashrate will drop and not going up again
3. on some cards the hashrate will reduce overtime to 8xx-9xx and stay at that point

I have done using "fragment"=9999 with different Intensity from 52-59, worksize 8 and 16

Thanks
novac.

Hi Mate!

The problem is !You have upgraded your Adrenalin Drivers too high!

Recommended drivers:
Adrenalin 18.5.1, Adrenalin 18.5.2, Adrenalin 18.6.1

DON'T COMPILE kernels on drivers 18.7.1+ because they will create faulty binaries!
If the pre-built binary kernels aren't working you, make sure you use one of the upper mentioned driver versions!
Don't use 18.3.4 and older drivers if you want to mine V8 with Vegas! Your hashrate will be very bad. Instead use minimum 18.5.1 and newer drivers!
If miner can't connect to devfee pool or srbminer.com, switch your dns to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8

The highest driver can be Adrenalin 18.6.1.
so uninstall your drivers with DDU tool (DriverUninstaller) and install it, it should work then!

I hope i could help you!  Roll Eyes Wink

Ok, so looks like i finally resolved the ellesmere 8gb heavy algos thing.
Now they easily hash over 1.1khs.

New version in a few days

Very nice!!

Another question - srbminer shows a total hashrate of 4300Hs, and bittube.miner.rocks shows an average of 3000Hs per day.
pool latency ~ 130ms
stale shares are very rare, maybe about 1%
The difference of Hs in the miner and on the pool is about 30%
What could be the reason for such losses?

Hello guys, I have a problem with my miner.
It works all vegas 64 lc individually or in groups with intensity 124 but only 8 cards (of 11 Vegas) at the same time. It was checked by the hardware the cards and the riser. if I start the miner with more than 8 he pulls the rope and the system restarts. What settings do I have to make in win 10 (version 1709)?
vram 250gb
optimizer 4.5
disabled crossfire and enabler ulps
computing mode
and Huh??

win 10 pro
asus b250
24 gb ram
11 vega 64 lc
srb miner 171
adrenalin 18.6.1
Hbcc deaktiviert

config
"cryptonight_type" : "normalv8",
"intensity" : 124,
"double_threads" : true

installed after "lupaarsen" thread 5359

Please help me?

Hi Mate!

This is a very clear thing, mining pools are NEVER exactly, so you can never trust it, trust only the MiningTool, the display in the pools is very inaccurate, in addition it often happens with the pools once more hashrates and once less hashrates is used, so you often have more hash rate by the pool than you actually manage with your graphics cards or even less.

Unfortunately, I do not know if MiningPools only make inaccurate ads or if the pools always need more power and once less for the calculations.
So that's normal.

Hallo Hansibua!

Patrick

Hi!
I change driver from Adrenalin 18.11.1 to 18.6.1.
But the error appears again - "EXCEPTION 90012. FAULTY HDMI DEVICE INT3H."
What else can i do?

V1.7.2

- Ellesmere 8Gb cards can now reach the full hashing speed on heavy algos
- Rx550 and Rx560 should now be faster on heavy algos by ~8%, and ~5% on V7 algos
- Rewritten a lot of stuff so kernel can now be compiled on newer video drivers too, so no binary kernels provided anymore
- Much faster kernel compilation time
- Removed bralock, aes and kernel parameters
- Added value 9997 and 9998 for fragments which could improve stability on some cards
- heavy_mode 3 (experimental) is now even faster, but still can produce more compute errors than heavy_mode 1, so 1 is still the default

+ Good news, finally got that hashrate stable for the 8GB ellesmere cards on heavy algos (rx470, rx480, rx570, rx580)

+ Miner can now compile working binaries on newer video drivers too, but i don't know about the speeds, i only tested on the latest AMD driver and it is slower than 18.6.1
Maybe there is a driver version that is faster, if someone finds it please share

+ Kernel compilation times are now reduced by a few times

+ Bralock, Aes and Kernel parameters removed, as they are not needed anymore

+ You can now use values 9997 and 9998 for fragments. If you have hashrate instability issues, try them.

+ If you want to see even more speed on heavy algos use heavy_mode 3, but be prepared to get more compute errors than on 1. Test it and see if the hashrate / compute errors ratio satisfies you

Win 7-64, blockchain drivers, v1.7.2, Samsung memory, RX4708GB, Uber Mix 3.1 mod, Heavy Mode 0, I=55, 1260/2000, 1224 H/s on Some (silicon lottery probably), but at least 1183 H/s on all.

Very nice improvement.

Heavy mode 3 slows down my system. Sad

EDIT: same results for Win 10-64, 18.3.4 drivers.
