Dok, on one of my rigs I get this error

It still tries to start mining but usually just closes.


Also, I get the warning that I'm not using the recommended drivers even though I'm on 18.6.1.  Just to be sure I DDU'ed and reinstalled 18.6.1, same warning.

I would post a log but it just crashed and I'm not on location.  My log files aren't formatted correctly for some reason

In the above log a single gpu crashed, but the entire miner(all cards) stopped hashing even thought the miner connection to pool was active [/li]

• 2. GPU watchdog stats to understand crashes better
• 3. Hash rate watchdog calculations for clarity as to y the miner restated

The above will help us in debuggin a lot, especially the first item, to find the unstable gpu

It is hard to help without any logs..
Also when you press 's' while mining it should show :
Driver version: 24.20.11021.1000

That is 18.6.1 driver

Also if you open the log in notepad++ it will be formated ok

I've added "95.216.148.81 srbminer.com" to hosts file but it haven't changed anything, the problem persists.
I have Comodo Firewall installed, but it's configured to permit every connection from SRBminer, Windows Defender is off, I don't know what to do anymore, what do you think about this dok, I can see I'm not the only one with the same problem.  

edit: Just noticed I was using 1.6.4, downloaded 1.6.7 and Adrenalin 18.6.1 drivers, will report back with results.

It has nothing to do with the miner version. Something IS not allowing connections for minimum a few hours, maximum 1 day. Please check in the log can it connect to the devfee pool at all?

drivers 18.3.4, before 18.2.1, cards are bios mod one click mod

I've been testing this on my 5x rx580 4gb (elpida) and so far so good
I'm having minor instability issues at 1230/2020mhz @ 915mv producing 930H/s for each card. I have some random restarts but i'll try to lower more the clock speed if this repeats. Mining eth was stable with much faster speeds, but it's a different algorithm so this is expected.
If you just started mining, make sure that you tweak the intensity setting. Using "58" instead of "55" for normalv7 algorithm improved my hashrate a bit.

Is it possible to add the "api" configuration to the command line options instead of config.txt files? Because if you use multialgo switch, you have to configure the API settings on every config file.
Also, since you have ADL api enabled, can you provide a way to change the gpu/mem clock/voltage in your miner?

I get the config parse warning because I think a riser became loose.  I'm not on location so don't know for sure.  The card may have gone up in a poof of smoke for all I know.

Hello, I am looking for some help setting up Vega FE, any experts here? My hashrate is only 1.2k and my temps are over 80. I am mining heavy algo and I've tried 18.6.4 driver and 18.5.1 driver.

I have so many questions! Example: is there crossfire that I should disable? Nothing is showing up in amd settings.

Also afterburner can't change fan speed or reduce power. Overdriventool gave an error when I tried to change max temp too.

I am lost.

I currently have driver 18.5.1 installed but I will put on a newer one and try it. I'll also try the tweaks in step 3 to try to raise my hashrate, currently 1.3k on heavy.

Hello, I am looking for some help setting up Vega FE, any experts here? My hashrate is only 1.2k and my temps are over 80. I am mining heavy algo and I've tried 18.6.4 driver and 18.5.1 driver.

I have so many questions! Example: is there crossfire that I should disable? Nothing is showing up in amd settings.

Also afterburner can't change fan speed or reduce power. Overdriventool gave an error when I tried to change max temp too.

I am lost.

Anyway, the bug is back on two of the rigs.  Same story, others are fine.  Really weird.

That 2 newbie user is both you, pretend to be some else.
Using srb from ver1 i never have this problem in 6 month period, because no firewall instaled on rig, defender disablet and so on.
Different rig locations, different internets, and never have this problem.

Successful test with 18.8.1 drivers, SRB 1.6.7 and old BinaryKernels from 1.6.7.
V7 speed is excellent...

I have the same speed with bc driver but with less power for 6 GPU RX480: 650w vs 750w))) And of course, with the red warning about not adrenalin drivers)))

I not have the same speed   on rx470  (modded bios, driver recomended version   1150 mhz gpu/2225 mem) V7   
 1.6.6  ~  905 H/s
 1.6.7  ~  880 H/s 

and after the launch of 1.6.7 with a shit speed of 880 it is necessary to full reboot PC  so that 1.6.6 starts to recover again >900

I am just notice that the total mining time will back to zero when the miner auto restart caused by "min_rig_speed" parameter.

Please fix it on the next update.
